AdventHealth for Women is a non-profit hospital in Orlando, Florida, United States that is adjacent to AdventHealth Orlando.

AdventHealth Orlando (formerly Florida Hospital Orlando) is the largest hospital owned by AdventHealth with over 1,432-beds, faith-based, non-profit, tertiary, research and academic medical center located in Orlando, Florida, servicing Central Florida and the Orange county region. It is the second largest hospital in Florida and the largest in Central Florida. AdventHealth Orlando is the 10th largest hospital in the United States in 2019. AdventHealth Orlando is the oldest Seventh-day Adventist Hospital in the state of Florida.

AdventHealth station is a train station in Orlando, Florida, serving SunRail, the commuter rail service of Central Florida. The northernmost SunRail stop in the City of Orlando, the station opened May 1, 2014, and was built along tracks originally used by the South Florida Railroad. The station is designed to serve AdventHealth Orlando. It has two platforms, two tracks, and the only parking is at the existing parking garages on the hospital grounds. The station is officially located at 500 Rollins Street, however the platforms extend as far south as East Princeton Street.Of the four SunRail stations in Orlando, AdventHealth is the only station built exclusively from scratch. It is typical of most SunRail stations featuring canopies consisting of white aluminum poles supporting sloped green roofs and includes ticket vending machines, ticket validators, emergency call boxes, drinking fountains, and separate platforms designed for passengers needing wheelchairs, a feature that's quite useful being at a hospital. In July 2014, Florida Hospital made the rail crossings in Florida Hospital Health Village a rail quiet zone. Florida Hospital had extra crossing arms and medians installed to stop motor vehicles and pedestrians from crossing the gate when it is down. In December 2014, Orlando was looking for local artists to create an art piece for Florida Hospital SunRail station. An artist was chosen to create a 41 by 13-foot-tall hand-painted mural for $50,000, which was installed on December, 2016.

The Orlando Science Center (OSC) is a private science museum located in Orlando, Florida. Its purposes are to provide experience-based opportunities for learning about science and technology and to promote public understanding of science. The Orlando Science Center is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and is a member of the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC). The Orlando Science Center is member supported and sponsored in part by United Arts of Central Florida, Inc., the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Arts Council.

AdventHealth University (AHU) is a Seventh-day Adventist institution specializing in healthcare education that is located in Orlando, Florida; Denver, Colorado; and online. It is associated with AdventHealth, which is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system. The physical facilities are located next to AdventHealth Orlando and Centura Health in Denver. The university offers over 20 undergraduate and graduate degrees from associate to doctorate level, including online and post-baccalaureate certificates.

The Mennello Museum of American Art is an art museum located in the Howard Phillips' house in Loch Haven Park next to Lake Formosa in Orlando, Florida. The museum displays paintings and sculptures and contains at its core a permanent collection of paintings by Earl Cunningham (1893–1977). The Cunningham collection was donated by Marilyn and Michael Mennello of Winter Park, Florida. Other exhibitions show works of traditional and contemporary American artists. The museum opened November 22, 1998, and is owned and operated by the city of Orlando.

The Rosemere Historic District is a U.S. historic district located to the west of Lake Formosa in Orlando, Florida. The district is roughly bounded by E. Harvard Street, N. Orange Avenue, Cornell Avenue, and E. Vanderbilt Street.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 21, 2009.

The Andrews Causeway is located in the city of Orlando, Florida. The highway was constructed in 1935 and divides Lake Estelle. It allows Mills Avenue to enter into Orlando from Winter Park, Florida to the north.

The Lake Ivanhoe Historic Residential District is a U.S. historic district located around Lake Ivanhoe in Orlando, Florida. The district is roughly bounded by Orlando Street, Interstate 4, Lakeview Street, Edgewater Drive.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 20, 2010.

The Harry P. Leu Gardens are semi-tropical and tropical gardens in Orlando, Florida, United States. The gardens contain nearly 50 acres (200,000 m2) of landscaped grounds and lakes, with trails shaded by 200-year-old oaks and forests of camellias. They are open to the public. The address is 1920 North Forest Avenue Orlando, FL 32803. A 15-acre (61,000 m2) section of the park, known as the Mizell-Leu House Historic District (or Leu Botanical Gardens and Leu House Museum), was designated a historic district on December 29, 1994. According to the National Register of Historic Places, it contains 3 historic buildings.

Lake Highland Preparatory School is a private, coeducational school in Orlando, Florida. It was founded as an all-white school in 1970 by the board of a whites-only, Christians-only junior college. This gave white parents a private alternative to racially-integrated public schools at the time federal courts had finally required mixing races in public schools. It is the largest private school in Orlando and the fourth-largest private school in the state. It serves grades pre-K through 12, separated into lower (grades pre-K to 6), middle (grades 7–8), and upper schools (grades 9–12). The 42-acre (17 ha) campus is next to Lake Highland. The school also has a middle school campus (Charles Clayton Campus) for grades 7 and 8.Lake Highland is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.

Orlando Junior College was a private, segregated Junior College in Orlando, Florida, that served white Christians only. Founded by Judson Walker, Orlando Junior College opened in 1941 on the grounds of the former Magnolia School, explicitly excluding Black and Jewish students. In 1944 the school moved to a 20-acre site on Lake Highland. In 1957, the school was offered $1 million by Martin Company on condition that Blacks and Jews would be admitted; the board refused. In 1967, the founding of Valencia College and other public institutions challenged the continued viability of the school. Orlando Junior College became Lake Highland Prep in 1970.
