Opened in 2015, the three-storey mall is currently anchored by two sporting good chains, SportsDirect.com and MST Golf Superstore, as well as Mr D.I.Y., Malaysia's largest hardware chain.Udini Square was developed by a Malaysian property developer, IJM Corporation, with a gross development value of RM75 million. The suburban lifestyle mall caters to residents within Gelugor, and sits near the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway that links George Town, the Penang Bridge and Penang International Airport.

Kampung Buah Pala (nicknamed High Chaparral) was a small village in Penang, Malaysia inhabited mostly by Indians at Gelugor. The 200-year-old village was controversially demolished in 2009 under the government of Lim Guan Eng.

Lam Wah Ee Nursing College, abbreviated as LWENC, is a private nursing college located in George Town, Penang, affiliated to Lam Wah Ee Hospital. It is the first private nursing college in northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. Its three-year diploma in nursing accredited by Malaysian Qualifications Agency, recognized by Malaysian Nursing Board and Ministry of Health Malaysia.

Lam Wah Ee Hospital (simplified Chinese: 南华医院; traditional Chinese: 南華醫院; pinyin: Nán Huá Yī Yuàn) is a 700 bedded tertiary acute care hospital located at 141 Jalan Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim, Penang, Malaysia. This not-for-profit private hospital is accredited by the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health. The Hospital started as a provider of traditional Chinese Medicine treatment in 1883 while the Western Medicine division commenced operations in 1983. It owns Lam Wah Ee Nursing College, the first private nursing college in northern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

Batu Lanchang is a suburb of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. It is located nearly 2.7 km (1.7 mi) southwest of the city centre, and sandwiched between Air Itam to the west and Jelutong to the east. Formerly an agricultural area, Batu Lanchang has turned into a suburban residential area, with a mix of high-rises and landed properties. Green Lane, in particular, has become an affluent neighbourhood, whilst also serving as a major thoroughfare through Batu Lanchang, linking George Town and Gelugor.

Jelutong is a suburb of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Located south of the Pinang River, Jelutong has been inhabited since as early as the late 18th century, when traders from Aceh and India settled around the area.It was once notorious as a turf for gangsters and triads until the 1980s, when urbanisation transformed the area into a residential suburb of George Town.

Chung Hwa Confucian High School (or 孔圣庙中华中学 in Chinese) is a Chinese conforming (national-type) secondary school located in Green Lane, Penang, Malaysia. The school is one of 10 Chinese secondary schools in Penang and also has a good record of co-curriculum and public examination results. It is the only overseas Chinese school that had been sanctioned by the Qing dynasty government of China, which officially presented it with royal seals bearing the school's name through its consulate and local businessman Cheong Fatt Tze, who is also credited with being the founder of the school. Chung Hwa Confucian High School is known as the oldest Chinese school in Malaysia.

Gelugor is a southern suburb of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Named after a plant species, Gelugor lies along the eastern seaboard of Penang Island, between Jelutong and Sungai Dua, and nearly 5 km (3.1 mi) south of the city centre. Gelugor had been populated as early as the late 18th century by Malay fishermen who arrived from Sumatra. The area was then cleared for agricultural plantations by David Brown, a partner of Captain Francis Light. Urbanisation of the area began in earnest in the 1960s, when residential estates were established within the area. Gelugor gradually turned into a suburb of George Town, helped by its strategic location right in the middle between George Town proper and Bayan Lepas to the south. In 1969, Universiti Sains Malaysia was founded at Gelugor and is now one of the top Malaysian public universities. In recent decades, Gelugor has assumed increased importance. In addition to hosting Penang Island's first university, the Penang Bridge, completed in 1985, was Penang's first cross-strait bridge, linking Gelugor with the Malay Peninsula.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Penang is situated in the northern region of Malaysia covering 5 states, namely Penang, Perlis, Kedah, Perak and Kelantan. It was created on 25 February 1955 together with the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur. It is under the Ecclesiastical province of Kuala Lumpur.

Taman Tun Sardon is a residential neighbourhood within the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Located 5.7 km (3.5 mi) south of the city centre, this working-class neighbourhood, which neighbours Minden Heights to the south and consists of low-cost five storey flats, was created in the 1980s and forms part of the Gelugor suburb. In all, 22 housing blocks were constructed within the neighbourhood to cater to the needs of lower-income citizens.

The Light Waterfront is a residential neighbourhood within the city of George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. Situated within the city centre, it encompasses the foreshore north of the Penang Bridge and is bounded by the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway to its west. Comprising a mix of residential, commercial and recreational developments, the township is being built through land reclamation by Malaysian conglomerate IJM Corporation.

Minden Heights is a residential neighbourhood within the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Located 6.1 km (3.8 mi) south of the city centre, this upscale housing estate lies within the Gelugor suburb and neighbours Universiti Sains Malaysia to the south, as well as Taman Tun Sardon to the north.
