Lam Wah Ee Hospital (simplified Chinese: 南华医院; traditional Chinese: 南華醫院; pinyin: Nán Huá Yī Yuàn) is a 700 bedded tertiary acute care hospital located at 141 Jalan Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim, Penang, Malaysia. This not-for-profit private hospital is accredited by the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health. The Hospital started as a provider of traditional Chinese Medicine treatment in 1883 while the Western Medicine division commenced operations in 1983. It owns Lam Wah Ee Nursing College, the first private nursing college in northern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

Heng Ee High School (simplified Chinese: 恒毅国民型华文中学; traditional Chinese: 恆毅國民型華文中學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Hêng-gī kok-bîn-hêng huâ-bûn tiong-o̍h; Malay: Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan Heng Ee) is a Chinese conforming secondary school located in George Town, Penang.

Founded in 1816, its academic achievements lead to its inclusion in the Malaysian Ministry of Education's Cluster School and High Performance School systems.This secondary school has been an all-boys school since its inception, although girls are now admitted for Form 6. In addition, the school has produced several notable Malaysian and Singaporean personalities, including Tunku Abdul Rahman, P. Ramlee, Wu Lien-teh and Wee Chong Jin; its alumni are known as the 'Old Frees'.Penang Free School maintains its historical rivalry with St. Xavier's Institution, another school in George Town which also claims the honour of being Malaysia's oldest school.

Georgetown Specialist Hospital is a private hospital in George Town within the Malaysian state of Penang. Established in 2019, the 20-bed hospital at Green Lane offers services including internal medicine, nephrology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, urology and general surgery. The planned expansion of the hospital will cost an additional RM350 million and increase its capacity to 300 beds, as well as the addition of eight operating theatres to its facilities.

Chung Hwa Confucian High School (or 孔圣庙中华中学 in Chinese) is a Chinese conforming (national-type) secondary school located in Green Lane, Penang, Malaysia. The school is one of 10 Chinese secondary schools in Penang and also has a good record of co-curriculum and public examination results. It is the only overseas Chinese school that had been sanctioned by the Qing dynasty government of China, which officially presented it with royal seals bearing the school's name through its consulate and local businessman Cheong Fatt Tze, who is also credited with being the founder of the school. Chung Hwa Confucian High School is known as the oldest Chinese school in Malaysia.

Green Lane is a major thoroughfare within the suburb of Batu Lanchang near George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Part of Penang Middle Ring Road, Green Lane starts from the intersection with Scotland Road and Air Itam Road, and stretches southwards to the Udini Roundabout within the Gelugor suburb.Once a quiet, leafy road, Green Lane has witnessed rapid urbanisation since the 1950s, turning it into an affluent neighbourhood. Even so, the road is still well-known for its greenery, with mature trees lining both sides of Green Lane, as well as its central divider. Green Lane is also where two of Penang's top missionary schools – Penang Free School and Convent Green Lane – are located.

Han Chiang University College of Communication, abbreviated as Han Chiang UC, is a non-profit private university college in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. Han Chiang UC offers a variety of foundation, diploma and undergraduate programmes, and courses in a range of topics, including Communication and Media, Business and Management, and Applied Creative Arts and Design. The university college is also the first educational institution in Northern Malaysia to offer Diploma and Bachelor Degree in Chinese Studies.

Bukit Dumbar is a residential neighbourhood within the city of George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. Located 4 km (2.5 mi) south of the city centre, it lies within the suburb of Jelutong. Formerly an agricultural estate, Bukit Dumbar is the site of an underground reservoir complex that supplies water to the southern half of George Town.

Han Chiang High School (韩江中学) is a Chinese independent high school in Jalan Han Chiang, Penang, Malaysia. The school was founded in 1950 by the Teow Chew Association of Penang and a local businessman, Lim Lean Teng. Teng gave the school and Han Chiang Primary School a piece of land measuring 33 acres (130,000 m2).The school is the first private Chinese school in Malaysia to be founded. It has a (sports) stadium, a "Just English" centre, a hostel, an event hall, three basketball courts, a library, five science labs, two computer labs, a music hall, a conference room and several multimedia rooms. All of its classrooms and facilities are air-conditioned. The school had about 1,000 students in the past decades, but it has recently soared to 2000 (approx.) students due to the availability of the IGCSE course. One third of the student population hail from foreign countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore etc. The private Han Chiang High School holds an entrance exam annually. Students wishing to attend have to take and pass the exam before enrolling.
