Agnano railway station

PalaArgento, full name Palazzetto dello Sport Mario Argento, is an indoor sporting arena in Naples, Italy. Built in 1963, the capacity of the arena is 8,000 spectators. It was the home arena of the Partenope Napoli basketball team of the Lega Basket Serie A. The Norwegian band A-ha played there in 1988.

Piscina Felice Scandone is a swimming pool complex located in Naples, Italy. The complex was named after Italian sports journalist and enthusiast Felice Scandone, who reported on sports in the Naples area. Construction of the venue began in 1960 and in 1963 the venue opened. It is owned and maintained by the municipality of Naples.

The Vesuvius Observatory (Italian: Osservatorio Vesuviano) is the surveillance centre for monitoring the three volcanic areas of Campania, Italy: Mount Vesuvius, the Phlegrean Fields and Ischia. Founded in 1841 on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius by Ferdinand II of Bourbon, King of the Two Sicilies, it is the oldest volcanology institute in the world. Its current operative center is based in Naples, hosting an important section of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.

Edenlandia railway station (Italian: Stazione di Edenlandia) is a railway stop in Naples, Italy. It is served by the Cumana railway line, managed by EAV. It is named after the Edenlandia amusement park, located in front of the station entrance on Viale Kennedy.

Cavalleggeri Aosta is a railway stop on Line 2 of the Naples metropolitan railway service. It was opened on 14 December 1961. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). Train services are operated by Trenitalia. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company. Cavalleggeri Aosta station is situated at Viale Cavalleggeri d'Aosta, to the south west of the city centre, in Fuorigrotta.

It was opened to the public in 1996 and features various areas in which one can explore and learn about science, natural phenomena, and hosts a wide large number of science exhibits and culture events. It is also a promoter for sustainable technologies activities and enterprises. Its structures are located in Bagnoli, the ex industrial district in Naples, and its nucleus was built in a 19th-century workshops industry archeological site.

The Tenth Municipality (In Italian: Decima Municipalità or Municipalità 10) is one of the ten boroughs in which the Italian city of Naples is divided.

Lago di Agnano or Lake Agnano was a circular lake, some 6½ km in circumference, which occupied the crater of the extinct volcano of Agnano 8 km west of Naples, Italy. It was apparently not formed until the Middle Ages, as it is not mentioned by ancient writers; it was drained in 1870. On the south bank are the Stufe di San Germano, natural sulphureous vapor baths, and close by is the Grotta del Cane. From the floor of this cave warm carbonic acid gas constantly rises to a height of 18 inches (46 cm): the fumes render a dog insensible in a few seconds. Remains of an extensive Roman building and some statues have been discovered close by.
