Beatrice station is a south-west Transitway station located in the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada suburb of Barrhaven.It is served by OC Transpo buses and opened on November 12, 2014. Beatrice Station straddles the corner of Chapman Mills Drive and Beatrice Drive in the heart of Barrhaven's shopping core and is served by a notable rapid-transit route, route 99. Two bus stops are located on Beatrice Drive directly to the north of the intersection, serving the rapid route 80, and Connexion route 277 on weekdays during peak times. Connexion route 406 is extended from/to Riverview Station via Nepean Woods Station and the Vimy Memorial Bridge to provide residents with improved connections to events at the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata.

Strandherd Station is a transit station in Ottawa, Ontario. It opened on January 2, 2007 and contains a park and ride facility with over 300 parking spaces available. It is located northeast of the intersection of Strandherd Drive and the access to the Riocan Marketplace shopping area, where Barrhaven Centre Station and Marketplace Station opened in mid-2012. This is part of OC Transpo's plans to extend its southwest transitway to its suburb areas. Route 95 was extended to Strandherd Station when the facility opened. The park and ride lot provides additional spaces for south end residents in Barrhaven, Heart's Desire, Davidson Heights and Manotick. Special routes 406 and 456 also serve the station. Service was improved in 2012, when the new right-of-way (running through a field parallel to Greenbank Road) was finished, and buses now travel without having to stop for traffic signals or getting caught in traffic on Greenbank Road.

Barrhaven East Ward or Ward 24 (French: Quartier Barrhaven-Est) is a municipal ward in Ottawa, Ontario. It consists of the eastern half of the city's Barrhaven subdivision. The ward came into effect at the 2022 Ottawa municipal election. It will be represented on Ottawa City Council by Wilson Lo. The ward consists of the neighbourhoods of Knollsbrook, Longfields, Davidson Heights, Havenlea, Chapman Mills and Heart's Desire.The ward was created in the 2020 ward boundary review from parts of Barrhaven Ward and Gloucester-South Nepean Ward.

Chapman Mills Marketplace is a shopping centre located in the Barrhaven neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The borders for the shopping district are Strandherd Drive to the north, Greenbank Road to the west, Longfields Drive to the east, and Chapman Mills Drive to the south.The centre consists of 20 buildings housing 66 stores and services including a grocery store (Loblaws, its anchor tenant), big box stores (Winners, Walmart), a cinema (Cineplex) and various restaurants. The property is owned by RioCan.Marketplace station on the southwestern portion of the Transitway provides OC Transpo bus service for the centre.

Marketplace is a Southwest Transitway station in the Barrhaven neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The station is located at the Chapman Mills Marketplace shopping centre, an extensive commercial zone which contains big-box stores and department stores. A temporary bus terminal served the neighbourhood initially. This street facility was replaced on 17 April 2011 by the permanent Transitway station and a new southerly terminus at Barrhaven Centre station which became the main connection point for local bus routes.Route 177 travels north via the Transitway towards Fallowfield Station during AM peak, and provides residents in Cambrian with improved connections. These trips do not serve Longfields Drive between Jockvale Road and Marketplace Avenue, or Marketplace Avenue between Longfields Drive and the Transitway, and instead travel via Jockvale Road northbound directly to Barrhaven Centre station. Starting 19 July 2014, route 99 has selected trips extended to/from Barrhaven Centre Station via Nepean Woods Station, Beatrice Station, and the Vimy Memorial Bridge, providing a connection to Riverside South and Greenboro Station. This extension was later applied to all trips of route 99, and starting 5 September 2021, select routes have been extended even further to CitiGate.

Barrhaven West Ward (Ward 3) is a city ward in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The ward consists of the western half of the Barrhaven subdivision. It consists of the neighbourhoods of Cedarhill Estates, Orchard Estates, Strandherd Meadows, Old Barrhaven, Barrhaven Mews, Jockvale, Halfmoon Bay and Stonebridge.

Barrhaven is a suburb of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located about 17 km (11 mi) southwest of the city's downtown core. Prior to amalgamation with Ottawa in 2001, Barrhaven was part of the City of Nepean. Its population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 103,234.
