Mocambo (nightclub)

Cafe Trocadero was an upscale nightclub that opened on the Sunset Strip in 1934 and immediately became the place where Hollywood stars went to be seen. Photographs of the stars out on the town at the Troc one night might appear in The Hollywood Reporter the next day, as both Cafe Trocadero and THR were owned by William R. Wilkerson. A black tie French-inspired supper club, at 8610 Sunset Boulevard in the posh Sunset Plaza section of the Strip, it was one of the most famous nightclubs in the world.

Revolver Gallery is a Los Angeles-based art gallery with a one-artist program focused on Andy Warhol's pop art career. With over 300 Warhols in its collection, Revolver houses the largest gallery-owned collection of Andy Warhol's artwork world-wide.

The Tiffany Theater was the first theater on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. It stood west of La Cienega between the Playboy Club and Dino's Lodge restaurant. Before being converted from the Mary Webb Davis Modeling School office at 8532 W. Sunset Blvd to a movie theater, the building had been seen in the 1958–1964 television series 77 Sunset Strip as the office for detectives Efrem Zimbalist, Jr., Roger Smith, and Edd Byrnes.

Pacific Hills School (previously named Bel Air Prep) was a co-educational independent school located in West Hollywood, California, serving the needs of a diverse student population in grades 6-12. The school had a diverse international student population with about 20% of the school's students hailing from eleven countries on six continents. On average each year had about 85 students enrolled at Pacific Hills School with an average class size of 13. Pacific Hills offered 12 AP courses, advanced programs in music, the arts and sciences.In 2018 the school closed permanently.

The Chamberlain West Hollywood is a hotel located in the centre of West Hollywood, California. The hotel has 114 suites, each with a private balcony and a gas-log fireplace. The suites average over 500 square feet (46 m2) and include amenities such as 42-inch (1,100 mm) HD televisions, iHome docking stations and designer bath products. The Chamberlain Bistro, the hotel restaurant, is run by Chef Emilio Noselotl and serves American and California cuisine. West Hollywood Memorial Walk (Memorial Walk) is a memorial and landmark in West Hollywood, California, along the sidewalks of Santa Monica Boulevard between Fairfax Avenue and Doheny Drive, at the eastern border of the City of Beverly Hills. Bronze plaques engraved with the names of those who died from acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) are embedded in the sidewalk as a tribute. Funds from the purchase of plaques support the programs of California non-profit Aid For AIDS to assist impoverished people in Los Angeles County living with HIV/AIDS.

The Center for Policing Equity (CPE) is a research center founded at University of California, Los Angeles and now based at Yale University. Dr. Phillip Atiba Goff, a Professor of African-American Studies and Psychology at Yale University, is the Co-founder and CEO. Dr. Tracie L. Keesee, who spent 25 years in the Denver Police Department, co-founded CPE with Dr. Goff and is the President and COO.The Center for Policing Equity is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that collects and analyzes data surrounding police interactions with the community to diagnose disparities in policing. Their mission is “justice through science”, using social science to improve policing and reduce racial disparities.

Barney's Beanery is a chain of gastropubs in the Greater Los Angeles Area. John "Barney" Anthony founded it in 1920 in Berkeley, California, and in 1927 he moved it to U.S. Route 66, now Santa Monica Boulevard, (State Route 2) in West Hollywood. As of 2011, Barney's Beanery had locations in Burbank, Pasadena (taking the ground floor of Q's Billiards at 99 East Colorado Boulevard), Santa Monica, Westwood, Redondo Beach at the Redondo Beach Pier and the original in West Hollywood.

The SkyBar (or Skybar) is a bar and lounge inside the Mondrian Hotel, in Los Angeles, California. It was opened in December 1996 by Rande Gerber. It features an outdoor area with a pool overlooking West Hollywood, as well an indoor area with bar. It is known for being visited by celebrities.SkyBar is used by William Gibson in his 2007 novel Spook Country as a meeting place between the protagonist Hollis Henry and her employer Hubertus Bigend. In Shakira's 2010 song, "Men in This Town", she mentions SkyBar: I went to look / From the Sky Bar to the Standard, nothing took.As of November 2019, the Mondrian Hotel is owned by SBE Entertainment Group, which also has SkyBar branded lounges in Nassau, Bahamas, and Miami Beach, Florida.

Morán Morán is a contemporary art gallery in Los Angeles, United States. It was founded in 2008 as OHWOW by Al Moran, and was later renamed. The gallery began as an alliance of artists and curators, presenting various exhibitions, happenings, and publications before evolving into what it is today.
