Corinth High School (New York)

Corinth ( KORR-inth) is a village in Saratoga County, New York, United States. The population was 2,562 at the 2020 census. The village takes its name from the Greek city of Corinth. The Village of Corinth is by the eastern town line of the Town of Corinth. The community asserts that it is the "Snowshoe capital of the world."

The Hadley Parabolic Bridge, often referred to locally as the Hadley Bow Bridge, carries Corinth Road (Saratoga County Route 1) across the Sacandaga River in Hadley, New York, United States. It is an iron bridge dating from the late 19th century. It is the only surviving iron semi-deck lenticular truss bridge in the state, and the only extant of three known to have been built.} In 1977 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Shortly afterwards it was closed to vehicular traffic, and at some time later to pedestrians as well. The county had considered demolishing it, but held off after heavy lobbying from local preservation groups. In 2006 it was reconstructed and restored with federal and state grants, and reopened without any load restrictions.

Lake Luzerne-Hadley was a census-designated place (CDP) in Saratoga and Warren counties in the U.S. state of New York. The portion in Warren County is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. The CDP consisted of the centers of population in the towns of Hadley (Saratoga County) and Lake Luzerne (Warren County). The population was 2,240 at the 2000 census. For the 2010 census, the area was redelineated as two separate CDPs, Lake Luzerne (pop. 1,227) and Hadley (pop. 1,009). The CDPs are located at the confluence of the Sacandaga and Hudson rivers.

As of the 2010 census, the population was 1,227, out of 3,347 residents in the entire town of Lake Luzerne. Before that, the community was part of the Lake Luzerne-Hadley census-designated place. Lake Luzerne CDP is in southern Warren County, in the western part of its town. It is named for Lake Luzerne, a water body on the east side of the hamlet. The community is bordered to the west by the Hudson River, across which is the town of Hadley in Saratoga County. The Luzerne Music Center is on the east side of the lake. New York State Route 9N passes through Lake Luzerne, leading northeast 11 miles (18 km) to Lake George and south 19 miles (31 km) to Saratoga Springs. Glens Falls is 12 miles (19 km) to the east by county roads.

The town is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. Lake Luzerne is west of the city of Glens Falls. The town population was 3,079 at the 2020 census.
