St. Peter's Church, Copenhagen

The Copenhagen metropolitan area or Metropolitan Copenhagen (Danish: Hovedstadsområdet, pronounced [ˈhoːð̩stæðsʌmˌʁɔːðət], literally "The Capital Area") is a large commuter belt (the area in which it is practical to commute to work) surrounding Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. It includes Copenhagen Municipality, Frederiksberg and surrounding municipalities stretching westward across Zealand. It has a densely-populated core surrounded by suburban settlements. The metropolitan area has several current definitions and also some historical, now defunct, definitions. The most widely accepted is the area which is strategically managed by the Finger Plan. The modern post 2007 version includes the four provinces Københavns by (Copenhagen city), Københavns omegn, Nordsjælland and Østsjælland, with a total land area of 2 778 km² and over 2 million inhabitants (16 March 2018;updated statistics from 1 January 2018 on cities (Danish byer, (singular) by) published later). It should not be confused with the Øresund Region or the Capital Region of Denmark.

Sankt Petri Passage (literally St Peter's Passageway) is a passageway and surrounding mixed-use complex linking Nørregade with Larslejsstræde in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The National Romantic complex was built for the telephone company KTAS (now TDC) in the 1900s and is also known as Telefonhuset ("The Telephone House"). The new name refers to neighbouring St Petri's Church. Current tenants include KVUC as well as several Danish and international companies.

Sankt Petri Schule (Danish: Sankt Petri Skole) is a German international private school in Copenhagen. The school, one of the oldest in Denmark dating its origins back to 1575, is located opposite St. Peter's Church, the Lutheran parish church of the German-speaking community in Copenhagen. Sankt Petri Schule is a member of the German Schools Abroad Network DAS.

Studiestræde 8, also known as Noahs Ark, is a Neoclassical property in the Latin Quarter of Copenhagen, Denmark, The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1996. A plaque over the central window on the first floor commemorates that the playwright and theatre historian Thomas Overskou lived in the building as a child.

Bispegården (English: The Bishop's House) in Copenhagen, Denmark, is the residence and office of the Bishop of Copenhagen. It is located across the street from Copenhagen Cathedral and Frue Plads, on the corner of Nørregade and Studiestræde, in the city centre. Bispetorv, the small square next to it, is named after the building.

Bispetorv (Danish: Bispetorvet) is a small public square in central Copenhagen, Denmark, located on the corner of Nørregade and Studiestræde. It takes its name from the Bishop's House, the official residence of the Bishop of Copenhagen, on the other side of Studiestræde. The square is dominated by the main entrance of Church of Our Lady which faces it on the other side of Nørregade. The Reformation Memorial which stands in the middle of the square is from 1943.
