Cristo Rey Fort Worth College Prep is a Roman Catholic high school in Fort Worth, Texas. It is a part of the Cristo Rey Network of 38 schools throughout the United States and is under the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth. The first Cristo Rey School was established in 1996 in Chicago, Illinois. In conjunction with local businesses, the students' education is subsidized through the work-study model used by schools in the Cristo Rey Network, of which it is a member.The first campus was located at Terrell Heights Historic District in the former Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School. Students attending work jobs part-time to pay for tuition. Currently, Cristo Rey Fort Worth is located on a 4.47 acres at 2633 Altamesa Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas 76133. The first graduating class from Cristo Rey Fort Worth will be in late May 2022. The school now enrolls all four grades 9 to 12, and admits students to grades 9 and 10 only. It opened in 2018.

The school's colors are royal blue and silver. The school's mascot is the Panther. The school is often colloquially referred to by its nickname, "NoCro," a short form of the full school name. The North Crowley Men's basketball team were Texas 5A State Champions in 2008. In 2003, they were Texas 4A Football State Champions.

Barron Field (Camp Taliaferro Field #2) is a former World War I military airfield, located 1.0 mile (1.6 km) West-southwest of Everman, Texas. It operated as a training field for the Air Service, United States Army between 1917 until 1921. It was one of thirty-two Air Service training camps established after the United States entry into World War I in April 1917.After the United States' entry into World War I in April 1917, General John J. "Blackjack" Pershing invited the British Royal Flying Corps to establish training fields in Texas for the training of American and Canadians volunteers because of its mild weather. After looking at sites in Dallas, Fort Worth, Waco, Austin, Wichita Falls and Midland, three sites were established in 1917 in the Fort Worth vicinity (known as the "Flying Triangle."), those being Hicks Field (#1), Barron Field (#2), and Benbrook Field (#3). Canadians named the training complex Camp Taliaferro after Walter Taliaferro, a US aviator who had been killed in an accident. Camp Taliaferro was headquartered under the direction of the Air Service, United States Army, which had an administration center near what is now the Will Rodgers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

On September 15, 1999, a mass shooting occurred at Wedgwood Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. 47-year-old Larry Gene Ashbrook entered during a See You at the Pole Rally featuring a concert by the Christian rock group Forty Days, where he killed seven people and wounded eight others before committing suicide.

Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South is a non-profit hospital campus in Burleson, Texas that is part of a joint venture company created by Adventist Health System and Texas Health Resources.

Wedgwood is a neighborhood in Fort Worth, Texas (USA), located on the southwest part of the city. It is bounded by Granbury Rd on the northwest, Altamesa Blvd on the south, McCart Ave & Westcreek Dr on the east, and Interstate 20 on the north. Most of the streets in Wedgwood begin with a "W", such as Wedgmont, Wrigley and Winifred. Few of the streets have sidewalks. Houses in Wedgwood are usually all brick with attached garages, and have ranch-style design. Fort Worth residents know Wedgwood as "being near Hulen Mall". Newer houses are located near Candleridge Park. Another park, Le Blanc Park, features tennis courts, soccer fields and a basketball court. The Candleridge community is a middle class area where the houses were built from 1975 to 1981. The nearby man-made lake sets a relaxing mood; most homes price anywhere from $122-400,000.
