RAF Millisle

Ballyhay (from Irish Baile Hae, meaning 'Hay's townland') is a townland near Donaghadee in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is in the civil parish of Donaghadee and the historic barony of Ards Lower. It is called Bellyhie in Ulster-Scots. Ballyhay is a rural farming community with much land used for arable and pasture farming. There are records of a church flourishing in the area since the late 13th to early 14th centuries. Transport is available via the Number 7 bus (Moss road/Windmill road, Killaughey road) which travels from Millisle to Belfast via the Moss road.

Ards Lower (named after the former barony of Ards), alternatively known as North Ards, is a barony in County Down, Northern Ireland. It lies on the northern half of the Ards Peninsula in the north-east of the county, with the Irish Sea to its east and Strangford Lough to its south-west. It is bordered by two other baronies: Ards Upper to the south; and Castlereagh Lower to the west.The barony of Ards Lower was created in 1851 when the barony of Ards was split into two, the other part being Ards Upper.

Ballycopeland Windmill is a functioning windmill located one mile west of Millisle, County Down, Northern Ireland. It is managed by the Historic Environment Division of the Department for Communities and is open to the public. It is known in Irish as Muileann gaoithe Bhaile Chóplainn and in Ulster-Scots as Ballycopelann Wun-mäll. The windmill is just one part of the fully restored heritage attraction which opened in May 2022.

Strangford College, also known as Strangford Integrated College, is a school in Carrowdore, Newtownards, County Down, Northern Ireland. It is an integrated co-educational secondary school with a grammar stream with around 870+ students (2025/26). Mrs Clare Foster is the school's current principal.

According to PlacenamesNI.org, the name Ballyblack originates from "Baile Bhleaic" meaning Black's townland.The churchyard of Ballyblack Presbyterian Church, located in the townland, dates to the mid-19th century.

Ballygrainey railway station was on the Belfast and County Down Railway which ran from Belfast to Donaghadee in Northern Ireland.

Loughriscouse (from Irish Luachras Cua 'rushy place of (the) hollow') is a rural townland in County Down, Northern Ireland. It has an area of 1140.89 acres (4.62 km2). It is situated in the civil parish of Newtownards and the historic barony of Ards Lower, located 2 miles east of Newtownards. It lies within the Ards and North Down Borough Council.

Grace Neill's, in the town of Donaghadee, Northern Ireland, is "one of Ireland's oldest pubs" and was opened in 1611.

Millisle Road Halt railway station was on the Belfast and County Down Railway which ran from Belfast to Donaghadee in Northern Ireland.

Donaghadee Town Hall, also known as The Merchant House, is a municipal structure in the High Street, Donaghadee, County Down, Northern Ireland. The structure, which has been converted for residential use, is a Grade B+ listed building.

Carrowdore (from Irish Ceathrú Dobhair, meaning 'water quarter') is a village on the Ards Peninsula in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is situated in the townland of Ballyrawer, the civil parish of Donaghadee and the historic barony of Ards Lower. It lies within the Ards and North Down Borough, 6 miles (10 km) east of Newtownards. It had a population of 1,052 people in the 2021 census.
