The Evangelical Methodist Church of Florence is an Italian Methodist church located on via de' Benci #9 of Florence, region of Tuscany, Italy. The congregation occupies the former Roman Catholic church of San Jacopo tra i Fossi, founded in the 12th century. It was originally staffed by Vallombrosian monks of San Salvi, but by 1543 it was transferred to the Augustinian order that had remained faithful to Cosimo I. The present church was rebuilt in the 17th century. The adjacent convent and church were suppressed in 1808. The church was allocated in 1874 to the Scottish missionary John R. MacDougall. As of 2013, the Methodist Church is currently cared for by the pastor of the Waldensian Church of Florence, and the Tuscany Methodist Circuit.The interior has an elaborately stuccoed ceiling with a canvas by Alessandro Gherardini depicting the Triumph of Faith with St Augustine in Ecstasy (circa 1690).

The Castello della Magione (also Magione di San Giovanni al Ponte or Spedale di San Giovanni in Gerusalemme alla Magione) is a medieval castle in Poggibonsi (province of Siena, central Italy). It is an example of a medieval "Mansio" (residence) that belonged to the Knights Templar. The castle includes the ancient church and the “spedale” (hotel) for the pilgrims in transit to Rome on the Via Francigena. The complex is near the ancient crossing of the Via Francigena over the Staggia River, near the Bonizio bridge, now destroyed.

The Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry (Fonderia Artistica Ferdinando Marinelli also known as FAFM) is one of the last remaining Florentine foundries, producing works in bronze utilizing the Renaissance technique of lost-wax. A large number of bronze sculptures produced in Florence over the last century come from this artistic foundry. One of the most famous and popular works in Florence, the 'La Fontana del Porcellino', was cast by the Marinelli Foundry in 1988 and replaced the antique in 1998. As early as 1929, Marinelli Foundry was present internationally. It produced the monumental sculpture ‘La Carretta dei Pioneri’ (‘The Pioneer’s Cart’) carved by the Uruguayan artist José Belloni. It may still be seen today in Montevideo. In 1932, the panels of the immense Bramante Staircase at the entrance of the Vatican Museums by Antonio Maraini were cast. A more recent achievement is the ‘Warrior on horseback’ at the Macedonia Square in Skopje, North Macedonia, inaugurated in 2011 and the work of the sculptor Valentina Stevanovska.
