Couldrey House

Wenderholm Regional Park is a regional park north of Auckland in New Zealand's North Island. It is situated between the estuaries of the Puhoi River and the Waiwera River, on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island and features a homestead known as Couldrey House, and a carved pouwhenua.The park also features the 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) 'Maungatauhoro Te Hikoi' walking track, starting at the carved pouwhenua near the Couldrey House. The track features scenic views and birdlife.Wenderholm Regional Park was the first regional park established in the Auckland region, and is owned and managed by Auckland Council. Part of the park is sectioned off for ecological restoration.

The Puhoi River is a river of the Auckland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It flows southeast from its sources 10 kilometres (6 mi) southwest of Warkworth, passing through the town of Puhoi before reaching the coast of Whangaparaoa Bay seven kilometres north of Orewa.

The Waiwera River is a stream of the Auckland Region of New Zealand's North Island, near the township of Waiwera.

Waiwera is a small town in the north of the Auckland Region in New Zealand. Waiwera is 6 km north of Orewa, 6 km south-east of Puhoi, 23 km south-east of Warkworth and approximately 35 km from the Auckland City centre. The settlement lies at the outlet of a river also called Waiwera. Less than 1 kilometre north of the Waiwera turn-off lies the turn-off to Wenderholm Regional Park which is situated on the far side of the headland to the north of the Waiwera River outlet.

Mahurangi Island, is an island at the mouth of the Waiwera River, in the Auckland Region, New Zealand.

Waiwera Hot Pools is a hot springs system located in the small coastal village of Waiwera, just north of Auckland, New Zealand. They were known to the Māori people for centuries before being developed. In the 1960s and 70s overproduction and overpumping of the geothermal aquifer led to significant loss of pressure and desiccation of the springs in the late 1970. A decade later the thermal springs began to recover, although the system has not returned to the former artesian conditions.The commercial establishment, Waiwera Hot Pools, a large thermal spa and water park, was branded as Waiwera Infinity Thermal Spa Resort at the time of closure in 2018. The park had been New Zealand's largest water park. The complex claimed 350,000 visitors per year and consisted of 26 pools plus various slides. The park closed to visitors in February 2018.

Te Muri Regional Park is a regional park north of Auckland in New Zealand's North Island. It is situated between the estuaries of the Puhoi River and Te Muri-O-Tarariki Stream, on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island. The park is bordered by two other regional parks: Mahurangi West Regional Park to the north, and Wenderholm Regional Park to the south.

Mahurangi Regional Park is a regional park situated on the north-eastern coast of the Auckland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It is located in Rodney, north of the main Auckland urban area, and is owned and operated by Auckland Council.

Mahurangi West is a rural settlement in the Auckland Region of New Zealand. Puhoi is to the west, Mahurangi Harbour is to the east, and the western part of Mahurangi Regional Park is southeast.Mahurangi Heads West School operated from 1886 to 1946. It was a half-time school for the early part of this period, sharing its teacher with another school. The school building is now Mahurangi West Hall.

Hatfields Beach is a northern coastal suburb of Auckland, in New Zealand. It is on the Hibiscus Coast Highway about 40 kilometres (by road) north of the city centre. In 2011, the beach was officially gazetted as Ōtānerua / Hatfields Beach.

Te Haupa Island, also known as Saddle Island, is an uninhabited island located in the Hauraki Gulf near the mouth of Mahurangi Harbour, Auckland Region, New Zealand. Named after Ngāti Pāoa chief Te Haupa, the island was traditionally used as a seasonal base for shark fishing. The island first became a reserve in 1951.
