Highway 25 is a rural highway in southern Israel. It begins northwest of Nahal Oz at the border with the Gaza Strip, and it passes through Netivot, Beersheba and Dimona. It continues southeast toward Arava Junction, where it meets Highway 90. Its length is estimated by the Israeli Department of Transportation as 172 km and 780 meters.

Be'er Sheva Airfield (Hebrew: שְׂדֵה תֵּימָן), also known as the Teyman Airfield (IATA: BEV, ICAO: LLBS) is an Israeli airfield located near Beersheba. The airfield is mainly used for flight training, general aviation activity, gliding and skydiving operations. The main operator of the airfield is Ayit Aviation, owned by Captain Eli Peretz, who has managed the airfield for the last 25 years.

Ayit Aviation and Tourism (Hebrew: עיט שירותי תעופה ותיירות) is an Israeli domestic airline established in 2008.

Sde Teiman (Hebrew: שדה תימן) is an Israeli military base located in the Negev desert near the border with the Gaza Strip. During the Gaza war, its use as a detention camp doubled and gained international attention for its systemic human rights violations against its Palestinian detainees from the strip. Multiple released Palestinian detainees have testified they and others, including children, were subjected to rape, gang-rape, other forms of sexual violence as well as psychological and physical torture by both male and female Israeli soldiers and medical staff. Multiple reports also speak of prisoners who suffered from medical neglect for injuries sustained, which led to cases of arm and leg amputations. Their testimonies have been corroborated by whistleblowing Israeli staff and a CNN investigation. The mistreated detainees also included Palestinian healthcare workers who had been captured during Israeli raids on Gaza's hospitals. In one highly publicized incident, leaked CCTV footage showed Israeli soldiers gang raping a Palestinian detainee with a metal rod that caused him serious injuries to his anus and lungs. The leak occurred a few weeks after several soldiers suspected of the abuse of a prisoner were detained for questioning, leading to Israeli right-wing protesters and parliamentarians breaking into the camp in protest in late July 2024.

The Midbarium or "Desertarium" (Hebrew: מדבריום; "midbar" means "desert" is Hebrew), also the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel Animal Park is a desert zoo and amusement park at the edge of the desert by the northwest outskirts of Beersheba, Israel. It covers 140 dunams (37 acres) and has over 100 species of animals, including leopards, zebras, giraffes, turtles, wild dogs, hippopotami, meerkats, lions, and eagles. It was established in 2024, in place of NegevZoo, which was demolished in 2022, and is managed by the same company, Kivunim. Since August 2024 its director is Yuval Lavi, replacing Ziv Reshef. The park features a number of interactive features for visitors to have a feel of the experience of an animals: to "see like a raptor", ride high in an elevator to look around from the height of a giraffe, hunt like a crocodile, and move in the dark using echolocation like a bat.

Tirabin al-Sana (Hebrew: תראבין א-צאנע), also Tarabin (Arabic: ترابين), is a Bedouin village in the Negev desert in southern Israel. The village was built for the Tarabin tribe. Located near Rahat and Mishmar HaNegev, it falls under the jurisdiction of al-Kasom Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,240.

The Tirabin (Arabic: الترابين), were the most important Arab tribe in the Sinai Peninsula during the 19th century, and the largest inside Negev. Today this tribe resides in the Sinai Peninsula but also in Cairo, Ismailia, Giza, Al Sharqia and Suez, Israel (Negev), Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Gaza strip. A township named Tirabin al-Sana was built in Israel in 2004 especially for the members of al-Sana clan from Al-Tirabin tribe. Al-Tirabin is considered the largest Bedouin tribe in the Negev and Sinai Peninsula and all Egypt, with over 500,000 people.

Hatzerim (Hebrew: חֲצֵרִים, lit. Farmyards) is a kibbutz located 8 kilometers west of Beersheba in the Negev desert in Israel. It is named after the Bible (Deuteronomy 2:23), mentioning a site nearby: "the Avvites who lived in farmyards as far as Gaza". It belongs to the Bnei Shimon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 857.

The Israeli Air Force Museum is located at Hatzerim Airbase in the Negev desert. The museum was established in 1977 and has been open to the public since 1991. The museum displays a variety of Israeli Air Force and foreign aircraft, as well as anti aircraft arms.

Conch Arena (Hebrew: אולם הקונכייה, Ulam HaKunchiya) is a multi-purpose sports arena that was built in Be'er Sheva, Israel, by the city council and National Lottery grant of Mifal HaPais. The arena is located in Be'er Sheva's Sports Quarter, on Etsel Street, adjacent to the Turner Stadium. The arena's capacity is 3,000 seats.

The Turner Stadium (Hebrew: אצטדיון טרנר), officially the Yaakov Turner Toto Stadium Be'er Sheva, is a football stadium in Be'er Sheva, Israel. It is the home ground of Hapoel Be'er Sheva. It was named after former Be'er Sheva mayor Yaakov Turner. The stadium also serves the Israel national football team for some home matches.

The Australian Soldier Park, in Beersheba, Israel is dedicated to the memory of the Australian Light Horse regiments, that captured the town from the Ottoman Empire during World War I. The park was established in 2008 on a large area, and is maintained by a team of its own employees. On its eastern corner there is a memorial statue of a mounted Australian lighthorseman as well as documentary materiel on aluminum boards, written in three languages. The park also includes an area for picnics, gardens, artificial waterfalls, a maze, and a large playground under a circuses-tent-like shade that protects visitors from the desert sunlight. Most of the playground facilities are fully accessible for children who use wheelchairs. It includes slides one can climb to via a wheelchair ramp, a carousel with two regular benches and two secured places for wheelchairs, hammock and swings one can easily use without sitting straightly and without holding tight, and so on. The handicap parking is located in the middle of the park, much closer to the facilities than the rest of the parking spaces. The three million dollars of funding for the park was contributed by an Australian fund, and by the Fund for Beersheba Development.
