River Plaza is an unincorporated community located within Middletown Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It is adjacent to the Navesink River and Shadow Lake. The settlement is mainly made up of small single-family homes on a peninsula between the river and lake, though parts of the community stretch north of the lake. The community's one elementary school, River Plaza Elementary, is located north of the lake on Hubbard Avenue (County Route 12). The other major road in River Plaza, Front Street, carries CR 10 east of Hubbard Avenue and travels to Red Bank via the Hubbards Bridge over the Navesink River.

Shadow Lake Dam is a dam on Nut Swamp Brook in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Built in 1931, it has a length of 600 feet (180 m) and is 16 feet (4.9 m) high. The dam impounds Shadow Lake. It has a main overflow spillway, an earthfill berm and an emergency spillway on the right. It has a discharge capacity of 1,912 cubic feet per second. Hubbard Road (County Route 12) crosses over its crest.

It is a pre-engineering academy, offering courses such as Introduction to Engineering and Design, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and Principles of Engineering. It is a member of the National Consortium for Specialized Secondary Schools of Mathematics, Science and Technology. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1995.In its listing of "America's Best High Schools 2016", the school was ranked 20th out of 500 best high schools in the country; it was ranked seventh among all high schools in New Jersey. Two River Theater is a professional, not-for-profit, regional theater company producing plays and educational programs for audiences from central New Jersey and beyond. It is located in Red Bank, New Jersey, on the peninsula between the Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers that gave the theater its name. Two River Theater produces a multi-play subscription season. The company received "Theatre of the Year" awards from the New Jersey Theatre Alliance in 2006, and from The Star-Ledger in both 2006 and 2008. At the July 2009 meeting of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Two River Theater was designated as a Major Impact Organization. Two River Theater is a member of LORT (League of Resident Theatres), Theatre Communications Group and the New Jersey Theatre Alliance.

Red Bank is a commuter train station located in Red Bank, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It is one of 20 NJ Transit commuter rail stations on the North Jersey Coast Line. It is located on Bridge Avenue between Monmouth and Oakland Streets, just south of the Navesink River, and consists of two high-level platforms on either side of grade crossings.

Lincroft is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) within Middletown Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 6,135.

The T. Thomas Fortune House, also known historically as Maple Hall, is a historic house at 94 Drs. James Parker Boulevard in Red Bank, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. Built in the mid-19th century, it was the home of Timothy Thomas Fortune (1856–1928), a leading African-American journalist and civil rights advocate, from 1901 to 1908. The house was named a National Historic Landmark in 1976. It is now owned by a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Fortune's legacy of activism and community involvement.

The hotel was previously owned by Kevork Hovnanian and is currently owned by Edric Mason.The Oyster Point Hotel (or simply "Oyster Point") opened in 1986 and was renovated in 2009. The hotel has dining and lounging amenities, both popular among tourists visiting Red Bank. The Pearl Lounge is Oyster Point's large elegant bar. It is located nearby the historic Molly Pitcher Inn, which is considered as Oyster Point's "sister hotel".
