Woman with Bicycle is a six-story wall painting created by the American painter, sculptor and muralist Knox Martin in 1979 under the sponsorship of the Public Art Fund.

The Hot Feet Club was a popular nightclub in New York City that operated from 1928 until 1933, approximately. The mob-controlled speakeasy attracted "some of the best crowds" of the day, such as boxing champion Gene Tunney and Mayor Jimmy Walker. Like some other clubs, it was racially segregated, with mostly white audiences coming to see mostly black performers. It opened at 11 p.m. but didn't really get going until later. Some performances were broadcast from 1:00 to 1:30 a.m. At different times, bands led by Otto Hardwick and Elmer Snowden were featured. Some of the greatest singers and musicians of the time performed at the club, including Alberta Hunter, pianist and composer Fats Waller, and jazz drummer Chick Webb. With a well-to-do clientele, the performers were well paid, sometimes making $10-15 or as much as $30 in tips per night, equivalent to a week's salary at the time. The relatively small club was located in a storefront at 142 West Houston Street, on the north side of the street between Sullivan Street and MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village, in a building still extant. It was said to be owned principally by Harry Lyons, a reputed gangster from the Bronx, although some sources say it was owned by a man named Walsh who was killed by members of the Chicago mob when he tried to open a second location for the club there, leading to the demise of the Hot Feet Club.

Da Silvano was an Italian restaurant in the New York City borough of Manhattan's West Village neighborhood known for its celebrity clientele and gregarious owner Silvano Marchetto. The eatery opened in 1975 and shut its doors in December 2016 some 41 odd years later. Jack Nicholson and Leo Castelli ate there once.Of owner Silvano Marchetto, Frank Bruni stated in a 2006 review of the establishment..."Da Silvano, which received two stars in The New York Times from Ruth Reichl in 1998, has been around for more than three decades,"....."Over that time it has evolved from a trailblazing showcase for unadorned Tuscan cooking to something of a downtown Elaine's with a proprietor, Silvano Marchetto, practiced at coddling stars and manufacturing his own luster."....

The MacDougal–Sullivan Gardens Historic District is a small historic district consisting of 22 houses located at 74–96 MacDougal Street and 170–188 Sullivan Street between Houston and Bleecker Streets in the South Village area of the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The district was designated a New York City landmark in 1967 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Sullivan Street is a street in Lower Manhattan, which previously ran north from Duarte Square at Canal Street, but since around 2012 begins at Broome Street, to Washington Square South, through the neighborhoods of Hudson Square, SoHo, the South Village and Greenwich Village. Avignone Chemists was an American full service pharmacy located in New York's Greenwich Village. Avignone Chemists was founded in 1832 which made it the oldest apothecary in the United States. Avignone marketed itself as the Independent Anti-Chain Pharmacy. It closed in 2015.

Dante, also known as Dante NYC, is a cafe and craft cocktail bar in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan. The establishment was founded in 1915 as Caffé Dante, an Italian coffeehouse. It was rated the best bar in the world in 2019, in The World's 50 Best Bars publication.Caffé Dante was a favorite of mobsters Vinnie “the Chin” Gigante and Jimmy Lollipops.

It was established in 1859 as the first parish in the United States formed specifically to serve the Italian immigrant community.

203 Prince Street is an historic townhouse on Prince Street between MacDougal and Sullivan Streets in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, New York. Built in 1834 with 2+1⁄2 stories on land that was once part of the estate of Aaron Burr, the house acquired an additional full story in 1888. Primarily constructed in the late Federal style, the building also has elements of the Greek Revival style.The house was designated a New York City landmark in 1974, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

FOOD was an artist-run restaurant in SoHo, New York. FOOD was founded by artists Carol Goodden, Tina Girouard and Gordon Matta-Clark. FOOD was considered one of the first important restaurants in SoHo. Other individuals who were involved with FOOD included Suzanne Harris and Rachel Lew. FOOD was a place where artists in SoHo, especially those who were later involved in Avalanche magazine and the Anarchitecture group, could meet and enjoy food together. FOOD was considered to be both a business and an artistic "intervention in an urban setting." It has also been called a "landmark that still resonates in the history and mythology of SoHo in the 1970s."
