The Sukharev Tower (Сухарева башня) was a Moscow landmark until its destruction by Soviet authorities in 1934. Tsar Peter I of Russia had the tower built in the Moscow baroque style at the intersection of the Garden Ring with Sretenka Street in 1692–1695.

Sukharevskaya (Russian: Сухаревская) is a station on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya line of the Moscow Metro. It opened on 5 January 1972. The station's underground vestibule is located under Sretenka Street just south of the Garden Ring. From its opening until November 1990, the station was called Kolkhoznaya, as a nod to the collective farming of the Soviet Union and the similarly named square. As Soviet names lost favor, the square was renamed into the Large and Small Sukharev Squares, both of which are named for the Sukharev Tower, which stood nearby until 1934. The station was renamed Sukharevskaya, accordingly.

The Outbuilding of the town estate of S. I. Mamontov (Russian: Флигель городской усадьбы С. И. Мамонтова) is a house in Moscow on the Garden Ring (Sadovaya-Spasskaya st., Building 6, Building 2). The only surviving building of the city manor. Built in the 1870s, it was built in the beginning of the 1890s under the project of the artist M. A. Vrubel, who after that lived there for some time. The building has the status of an object of cultural heritage of federal significance.

Sretenka Street (Russian: улица Сретенка) is a street in Meshchansky district of the Central Administrative Okrug, Moscow. Sretenka Street goes from Sretenskie Vorota Square to Bolshaya Sukharevskaya and Malaya Sukharevskaya Squares. Numbering of houses is carried out by Sretensky Gate. The street was named in the 17th century by the Sretensky Monastery, which was located in this street (now part of the Sretenka called Bolshaya Lubyanka Street). The monastery also was named in honor of the deliverance of Moscow from the conquest of Timur's troops in 1395. While waiting for the invasion, the Grand Duke Vasily I of Moscow ordered to move from Vladimir to Moscow the miraculous Theotokos of Vladimir icon. On August 26 (September 8) of 1395 Muscovites came "sretat" Russian: сретать) (old Russian word for 'meet') the icon. In the meeting place of the icon in 1397 a monastery was founded called Sretensky. The old name of the street – Ustretenskaya ( Russian: Устретенская) (the beginning of the 16th century) and Stretinskaya Street.

Federal Service for Defence Contracts of the Russian Federation (Russian: Федеральная служба по оборонному заказу, short name Rosoboronzakaz) was the governmental office that obeyed the Russian Ministry of Defence. It controlled and supervised Russian central and regional executive authorities and officials when they acted in the area of contracting services for the needs of the Ministry.It was formed on March 11, 2003. On September 8, 2014, president Vladimir Putin and prime minister Dmitry Medvedev agreed to dissolve it. Rosoboronzakaz's functions were transferred to the Federal Antimonopoly Service; licensing for other defense contract services was transferred to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Sretensky Boulevard (Russian: Сретенский Бульвар) is a major boulevard in central Moscow of important cultural significance, a part of the Boulevard Ring encircling the centre of the city. Sretensky Boulevard's northern end is at Lubyanka Street and Rozhdestvensky Boulevard, and its southern end is at Turgenevskaya Square, where it becomes Chistoprudny Boulevard. Sretensky Boulevard is a major thoroughfare, as it is a part of the Boulevard Ring. The Moscow Metro station called Sretensky Bulvar is a namesake of the boulevard.

Prospekt Mira (Russian: Проспе́кт Ми́ра) is a station of the Moscow Metro's Koltsevaya line. Opened on 30 January 1952 as part of the second stage of the line, it is a pylon design by architects Vladimir Gelfreykh and Mikhail Minkus. Called initially Botanichesky Sad (Ботанический Сад) after the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University which are located nearby, the theme of this station develops the connotation of the name in the overall colour tone. The arches are faced with flared white marble and are topped with ceramic bas-relief frieze made of floral elements. In the centre are medallion bas-reliefs (work of G.Motovilov) featuring the different aspects in the development of agriculture in the Soviet Union. The station walls are laid with dark red Ural marble and chessboard floor pattern is made of grey and black granite. The ceiling vault is decorated with casts, and lighting comes from several cylindrical chandeliers. The station's vestibule is built into the ground floor of a multi-story building on the corner of Mira Avenue and Protopopovsky lane. Designed by A.Arkin, its façade features sculptures and an original clock over the two archways. Inside, opposite the escalator hall is a large smalt artwork Mothers of the World by A.Kuznetsov. In 1958, the wall at the end of the station was dismantled to make way for a transfer to the new station Botanichesky Sad on the Rizhskaya line. In 1966 both stations were renamed after to avoid confusion with the larger Moscow Botanical Garden of Academy of Sciences, which would eventually see the station Botanichesky Sad be named after that in 1978. In May 2015, the vestibule of the station was closed for one year, due to major refurbishments works, reopened on 16 May 2016.

Sretensky Bulvar (Russian: Сре́тенский бульва́р) is a Moscow Metro station in the Meshchansky District, Central Administrative Okrug, Moscow. It is located on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line, between Trubnaya and Chkalovskaya stations. Sretensky Bulvar opened on 29 December 2007 after more than 25 years since groundbreaking.
