Pico House

The Merced Theater (building also once known as the Merced-Abbott Building) is a building in the City of Los Angeles. It was the first theater in the Pueblo of Los Angeles. The theater is located at 420 North Main Street (8–10 Main Street in the pre-1890 numbering scheme). It is immediately to the south of Pico House, and thus just off Los Angeles Plaza, the city's historic main square. The theater was designated a California Historical Landmark (No.171) on March 6, 1935.

The Chinese American Museum (Chinese: 華美博物館; abbreviated CAM) is a museum located in Downtown Los Angeles as a part of the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument. It is dedicated to the history and experience of Chinese Americans in the state of California, the first such museum in Southern California. It presents exhibits of fine art by Chinese American artists as well as historical exhibits. Planning for the museum began in October 1984, with the grand opening taking place on December 18, 2003. The museum is housed in the Garnier Building, the oldest surviving Chinese building in Southern California. The original Los Angeles Chinatown was located here before it was moved to New Chinatown for the construction of Los Angeles Union Station.It is funded by the State of California, the City of Los Angeles, Friends of the Chinese American Museum, the Chinese Historical Society of Southern California, the Getty Foundation, the El Pueblo Association, the Center for Chinese Medicine, and hundreds of other donors.

Don Abel Stearns House (El Palacio) was located in Los Angeles, California, US. His home was at the southeast corner of Main and Arcadia streets. Here he built a substantial, wide spreading adobe surrounding a large courtyard. The house was a one-story adobe, and covered the entire ground occupied by the block, with an extensive "patio" or inner court in the center. When the outer gates were closed, this was a citadel capable of withstanding a siege. The residence was on the site of what became the Baker Block; and it was for many years, both before and after the change of government, a prominent social center for Southern California. Abel Stearns was married to Arcadia Bandini de Stearns Baker, and it was at this home that the famously beautiful daughters of Don Juan Bandini (Arcadia, Josefa, and Ysidora) entertained their wide circle of acquaintances from San Diego and Santa Barbara at grand balls and other social functions characteristic of life in Spanish countries. Here Commodore Jones in 1842, and Captain Fremont in 1846 and 1847, and other distinguished historical figures at various periods were hospitably entertained.

The Old Plaza Firehouse is the oldest fire station in the city of Los Angeles, built in 1884. It is located near Olvera Street in the Los Angeles Plaza Historic District. It was placed as a California Historical Landmark No. 730 on April 8, 1960. Designed by local architect William A. Boring [the City paid him $160.75 for his drawings], and built in 1884, it operated as a firehouse until 1897. The building was thereafter used as a saloon, cigar store, poolroom, "seedy hotel", Chinese market, "flop house", and drugstore. The building was restored in the 1950s and opened as a firefighting museum in 1960. The Plaza Firehouse Museum is open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The museum features helmets, photos, and firefighting equipment of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

A statue of Felipe de Neve (sometimes called Don Felipe de Neve or Governor Felipe de Neve) is installed in Los Angeles' El Pueblo de Los Ángeles Historical Monument, in the U.S. state of California.

A statue of Charles III of Spain (also known as King Carlos III) is installed in Los Angeles' El Pueblo de Los Ángeles Historical Monument, in the U.S. state of California. Previously, the statue was installed in MacArthur Park, in the city's Westlake neighborhood.

La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles (English: "The Church of Our Lady Queen of the Angels") is a historic Catholic church in El Pueblo de los Ángeles Historical Monument in northern downtown Los Angeles, California. The church was founded by the Spanish in the early 19th century when modern-day California was under Spanish rule and known as Alta California in the Viceroyalty of New Spain.

A statue of Junípero Serra (sometimes called Father Junipero Serra or Fra Junipero Serra) was installed in a portion of El Pueblo de Los Ángeles Historical Monument informally known as Father Serra Park in Los Angeles, California.

Nuestra Señora Reina de los Ángeles Asistencia was founded in early 1784 in the burgeoning Pueblo de Los Ángeles adjacent to the village of Yaanga as an asistencia or "sub-mission" to the nearby Mission San Gabriel Arcángel. The assistant mission fell into disuse over time and a Catholic chapel, La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora Reina de los Ángeles, was constructed in its place a mere thirty years later.

The Lugo Adobe also called the Vicente Lugo Adobe or Casa de Don Vicente Lugo was a house in the City of Los Angeles, located on the east side of the Los Angeles Plaza at 512–524 N. Los Angeles Street.Don Vicente Lugo built the home in what is now called the El Pueblo de Los Ángeles Historical Monument in the 1840s. The Lugo Adobe was designated a California Historic Landmark (No.301) on July 12, 1939. Lugo Adobe was one of the very few two-story homes in the Pueblo of Los Angeles. In 1867 Don Vicente Lugo donated the Adobe to St. Vincent's School, that later became Loyola Marymount University. St. Vincent's School used the building for two years before moving the School. The building became part of what is now called Old Chinatown Los Angeles. When Old Chinatown became run down, Los Angeles put into place a redevelopment plan. The California Historic Landmark given to the Lugo Adobe did not save the Adobe from redevelopment. The Lugo Adobe was demolished in 1951, despite significant efforts to save it.The site of the former Lugo Adobe is now Father Junípero Serra Park on the east side of the Los Angeles Plaza and the east side of N. Los Angeles Street, just west of Union Station and just east of the southern end of Olvera Street.

The Italian American Museum of Los Angeles (Italian: "Museo Italo Americano di Los Angeles" and abbreviated IAMLA) is a museum located in downtown Los Angeles, California, and is part of the El Pueblo de Los Ángeles Historical Monument. It is dedicated to the history, experience and continuing contributions of Italian Americans and Italians in Southern California and the United States, and is the first such museum in Southern California. The museum opened in 2016 and has presented historical exhibits on Italians in Los Angeles, including Sunshine and Struggle and a variety of educational and cultural events.
