Downtown Sharjah

Sharjah Maritime Museum is an archaeological museum focusing on marine life that was an essential part of Sharjah's heritage and development. The visitor can see exhibits on pearl hunting, fishing, maritime trade and models of wooden dhows, including a pearl fishing boat, fishing equipment and diving tools.

Al Khan is a southern suburb of the city of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The suburb is located on the Al Khan Bay, which serves as a boundary between Sharjah and Dubai. Until recently, the area was deserted and home to a collection of crumbling traditional coral and adobe houses, but it now houses the Sharjah Aquarium. A number of the older buildings are being restored to create a heritage area.

Al Mamzar (Arabic: الممزر) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Mamzar is located in the area of Deira, in the north-east of Dubai. The north-east section of the locality is residential. The Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA), formerly named Sharjah Museums Department (SMD), is a government agency in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.The organization was established by Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi in 2006. The authority's objective is to promote the emirate's legacy of arts, heritage and culture. It is a part of the Global Cultural Districts Network. Al Noor Island (Arabic: جزيرة النور) is an island in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates vehicles are prohibited from entering the island. Al Noor Island is part of the Downtown Sharjah.

Layyah is the name of a suburb of the city of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is the site of the city's main power station and desalination plant.At the turn of the 20th century, Sharjah had some 4 or 5 shops in Layyah and a bazaar of some 200 shops in Sharjah proper.

Al Noor Mosque (Arabic: جَامِع ٱلنُّوْر, romanized: Jāmiʿ An-Nūr) is a mosque in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates, located on the Khaled lagoon at the Buhaira Corniche. It is of Turkish Ottoman design and was influenced by the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Turkey. It is one of the mosques open to the public in Sharjah, which has over 600 total.In 2014 the mosque set a Guinness World Record for the "World's largest wooden charity box" for their Ramadan donation campaign.

Adventureland is an indoor family entertainment center in the Sahara Centre shopping mall in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The center has an area of 70,000 square feet (6,500 m2), making it the largest family entertainment center in the Middle East.
