Matamoros Lighthouse (Spanish: Faro de Matamoros) is a defunct lighthouse along Matamoros Street, in colonia Centro, Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. A beacon, the structure was built by Roberto Alcazar and inaugurated on August 15, 1932. It operated until June 1978, and upon retirement, was deemed a historic landmark.In 2006, the structure was remodeled and converted into a lookout with stair access. The structure, now considered a tourist attraction, provides panoramic views of the city and Banderas Bay. It was cleaned and graffiti was removed in 2017.

Tritón y Sirena (also known as Tritón y Nereida) is a sculpture by Carlos Espino, installed along Puerto Vallarta's Malecón, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Installed the 1990, the artwork depicts Triton (son of Poseidon and Amphitrite) and a Siren (sometimes considered a Nereid).

Rain (Spanish: "Lluvia") is a sculpture by Jovian, installed along Puerto Vallarta's Malecón, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The 3.5-metre (11 ft), tall statue weighs 650 kilograms and depicts "a young man who, with open arms and gaze to the sky, welcomes both residents and visitors alike". The sculpture has been valued at US$60,000 and was donated by the artist via Galería Corsica.

A statue of Francis of Assisi by Augusto Bozzano, called Saint Francis of Assisi in Extasis (Spanish: San Francisco de Asís en Éxtasis), is installed outside Puerto Vallarta's Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, in the Mexican state of Jalisco.

In Search of Reason (Spanish: "En busca de la razón") is a 2000 sculpture by Sergio Bustamante, installed along Puerto Vallarta's Malecón, in the Mexican state of Jalisco.

The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, known locally as the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, is a Catholic place of worship in Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. It is open daily, with services in English available on Saturdays and mass in both Spanish and English on Sundays. The Church, built between 1930 and 1940, was constructed on the original foundations of a chapel initially dedicated to Lady Guadalupe in 1901. The Church is dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe, also known as the Virgin Mary. She is the patroness saint of Mexico and is considered a religious symbol of Catholic faith and female empowerment. Her feast day on 12 December is also the date of her first apparition. To celebrate this festival (fiesta), many individuals in the Mexican community display altars in their homes consisting of a painting of Our Lady of Guadalupe surrounded by flowers, candles, and other individual touches. During this time, members of many churches, including the church in Puerto Vallarta, light fireworks after the evening rosary leading up to 12 December, the day in 1531 that La Virgen de Guadalupe had her first interaction with a Mexican man named Juan Diego, which essentially established Catholicism in Mexico. She is depicted as a dark-skinned woman whose dialect is Nahuatl, which is Juan Diego's native language. Originally classified as a symbol of religion and faith, her significance in current times surpasses her role in Catholicism. Today, some see her as a figure of Mexican patriotism and liberation.

The Boy on the Seahorse (Spanish: "El niño sobre el caballito de mar"), commonly known as El caballito, is a sculpture by Rafael Zamarripa. Two versions are installed in Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco; one along the Malecón in Centro and another at Playa de los Muertos in Zona Romántica. One of the existing sculptures along the Malecón, installed in 1976, replaced a smaller version which was erected at Playa de los Muertos in the late 1960s but later swept away by a storm. The work has been described as an icon of the city.

Presidencia Municipal de Puerto Vallarta is a government building in Centro, Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The interior features a mural by Manuel Lepe Macedo called Puerto Vallarta.

The Rotunda by the Sea (Spanish: "La rotonda del mar") is an art installation by sculptor Alejandro Colunga along Puerto Vallarta's Malecón, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Unveiled in 1996, the work has eight bronze thrones arranged in a circle.

Plaza de Armas (English: "Main Square") is a plaza and local attraction in Centro, Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco.

A statue of Ignacio Vallarta is installed in Puerto Vallarta's Plaza de Armas, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The sculpture had previously been located at Park Aquiles Serdan. It was donated by former governor Juan Gil Preciado and was inaugurated in 1964 by then mayor Carlos Arreola Lima.

Nature as Mother (Spanish: "La Naturaleza Como Madre") is an abstract sculpture by Adrian Reynoso, installed along Puerto Vallarta's Malecón, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. According to Fodor's, the artwork depicts "a wave with some human characteristics on a spiral shell and symbolizes the evolution of our planet with nature as the controlling force".
