The Casa de Osambela is a building built during the colonial era of Peru. It stands on the old Novitiate of the Dominican fathers, destroyed by the earthquake of 1746, and part of the garden, facing the Calle de la Veracruz (today Jirón Conde de Superunda) in the historic center of the city of Lima. It is one of the largest mansions in the center of Lima and is notable for its wide façade and excellent quality balconies. It is a late colonial building with a mixture of successive styles, its construction dates from the late-18th and early-19th centuries. It was completed between 1803 and 1805.

The Basilica and Maximus Convent of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, popularly known as the Convent of Santo Domingo (or Convent of the Holy Rosary), is a Catholic religious complex located in the city of Lima, Peru. It was created in the 1530s under the patronage of Our Lady of the Rosary and is located in the Historic Centre of Lima. It houses the relics of Rose of Lima and Martin de Porres, and was also where the University of San Marcos, officially the first Peruvian university and the oldest university in the Americas, began to function in the 16th century.

The Casa de Correos y Telegrafos (Post and Telegraphs office) is the central post office of the city of Lima, Peru. The building is located in the Historic center of Lima near the Plaza Mayor. The building was constructed in 1897 in a French architectural style. Additionally, the building houses the National Postal and Philatelic Museum. Besides displaying exhibits relating to postal service, the museum showcases exhibits relating to Limean history. The building is located along Piura street and its interior is lined with shops. Its facade contains a clock, and a bronze lion depicted with its snout open and devouring correspondence. The building occupies an area of 6,537 square meters.

The Palacio Municipal de Lima or City Hall of Lima is a public building that serves as headquarters of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima. It is located on the street Portal de Escribanos, block 3 of Jirón de la Unión, and in front of the Plaza Mayor of Lima's historic centre.

The Basilica and Convent of San Agustín is located in the historic centre of Lima, in front of the square of the same name, and a few blocks from the Plaza Mayor of the capital. Its care is, since its foundation, run by the Augustinian friars, and belongs to the Province of Our Lady of Grace of Peru.

The Teatro Municipal de Lima (Municipal Theater of Lima) is a theatre and concert hall in Lima, Peru. It is home to the National Symphony Orchestra of Peru. The building was inaugurated in 1920 as the Teatro Forero. It was later bought by the Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima in 1929 and renamed Teatro Municipal. The building was partially destroyed by in 1998, and while the building was sporadically open for special performances; it remained unrestored for 12 years. The theater was eventually reconstructed following its original structural design, and it was expanded to include additional parking, anti-seismic technology and updated fireproofing. It was re-inaugurated on October 11, 2010.

Peru Square, formerly known as Francisco Pizarro Small Square, is a public square located in central Lima, Peru.

The Casa de Alcántara was a 16th-century building in the Historic Centre of Lima. It was demolished in 1952 and replaced by the Plaza Pizarro.

The Casa Fernandini is a historic residence located in the historic centre of Lima, Peru. It was built in 1913 and is located at 400 Jirón Ica. It was designed by Claude Sahut in an eclectic style.

The Casa de Aliaga is a colonial-style building located in the historic centre of Lima, Peru. Its current owner is Gonzalo Jorge de Aliaga Ascenzo, VIII Count of San Juan de Lurigancho.

The Riva-Agüero Institute (Spanish: Instituto Riva-Agüero, IRA) is an institute created in 1947 by the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, named after its benefactor, José de la Riva-Agüero y Osma. Located in the Casona Riva-Agüero of the historic centre of Lima, where Riva-Agüero lived until his dath, it serves a research centre for the human sciences that in 1955 reached the category of "School of Higher Studies" (Spanish: Escuela de Altos Estudios). It is divided into six research sections: Archaeology, Law, Ethnology, philosophy, Language and Literature, and History.

The Plaza Mayor de Lima, or Plaza de Armas de Lima, is considered one of the birthplaces of the city of Lima, as well as the core of the city. Located in the Historic Centre of Lima, it is surrounded by the Government Palace, Lima Metropolitan Cathedral, Archbishop's Palace of Lima, the Municipal Palace, and the Palacio de la Unión.
