Begovaya (Russian: Беговая) is a Saint Petersburg Metro station on the Nevsko–Vasileostrovskaya Line (Line 3) of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It opened on 26 May 2018 as a part of the extension of the line to the north from Primorskaya. The extension included Novokrestovskaya station as well. Begovaya is the northern terminus of the line, behind Zenit.The station is on the right bank of the Neva, in a rectangle bounded by Savushkina Street, Primorsky Avenue. Begovaya Street, and Turistskaya Street. The name of the station is given on the nearby street. Until June 23, 2014 the station had the design name "Savushkina Street". Renamed the resolution of the Government of St. Petersburg on June 23, 2014, according to the recommendations of the Toponymic Commission in connection with the location of the exit of the station near Begovaya Street "Begovaya" is a column multipass station of shallow ground. Architectural design is associated with the theme of the modern industrial urban environment, characteristic of the station's location area. The architecture of the station was designed by architects N.V. Romashkin-Timanova and U. S. Sergeeva. The theme of architecture is revealed in the image of decorative lamps arranged on columns, stylized as "propellers." Their bodies are made of stainless steel. Built-in fluorescent lamps shine upward with reflection. Lamps of round shape shine down and illuminate the platform. The floors of the vestibules and the station are made of polished granite. The columns are faced with stainless steel sheets, the walls are covered with ceramic panels with plinths of polished black granite. For the most complete disclosure of the architectural and artistic concept of the station on the side walls, artistic and decorative glass compositions designed in the scale of station finishing were designed. Art panels were made using the technology of lenticular printing (artist I.I. Baranova). For the safety of passengers, glazed fences with automatic sliding doors are installed along the edges of the platforms. The exit of passengers is carried out to the right side, as well as at the other metro stations with onshore platforms. The stations "Begovaya" and "Zenit" are connected by a double-track tunnel.

Zenit (Russian: Зенит) is a Saint Petersburg Metro station on the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya Line (Line 3) of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It opened on May 26, 2018 as Novokrestovskaya as part of the extension of the line to the north from Primorskaya. This extension also included the Begovaya station. Zenit is located between Primorskaya and Begovaya. Till 10 June 2021, the station was temporarily closed since April 2, 2020 as part of the measures taken against the COVID-19 pandemic.The station is situated at the western tip of Krestovsky Island, close to Krestovsky Stadium. The extension of the line had been tied to the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which partly took place at this stadium in summer 2018. On August 19, 2020 the station, while still closed, was renamed Zenit as a result of lobbying efforts of FC Zenit Saint Petersburg.

The Lakhta Centre (Russian: Ла́хта це́нтр, tr. Lahta tsentr) is an 87-story skyscraper built in the northwestern neighbourhood of Lakhta in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Standing 462 metres (1,516 ft) tall, it is the tallest building in both Russia and Europe, and the sixteenth-tallest building in the world. It is also the second-tallest structure in Russia and Europe, behind the Ostankino Tower in Moscow, in addition to being the second-tallest twisted building and the northernmost skyscraper in the world. Construction of the Lakhta Centre started on 30 October 2012, with the building topping out on 29 January 2018. It surpassed the Vostok Tower of the Federation Towers in Moscow as the tallest building in Russia and Europe on 5 October 2017. The centre is designed for large-scale mixed-use development, consisting of public facilities and offices. First designed by British architectural firm RMJM, the project was then continued by Gorproject (2011–2017) under the main contractor, Turkish company Rönesans Holding. On 24 December 2018, the Lakhta Centre was certified according to the criteria of ecological efficiency at LEED Platinum. In August 2021, Gazprom, formerly headquartered in Moscow, completed its re-registration process in Saint Petersburg. The new address of the company is at the Lakhta Center Multifunctional Complex.

Lake Lakhta (Russian: Лахтинский разлив; Lakhtinsky razliv; from Finnish lahti, 'gulf') is a lake (or inlet) in St. Petersburg's Primorsky District connected to the Neva Bay of the Baltic Sea by the 500-meter-long Bobylka River. The Kamenka, Glukharka and Yuntolovka rivers empty into the lake. Its area is 1.76 km², with the maximum depth of 8.3 meters. The lakeside village of Lakhta takes its name from the lake. Along the eastern shore extends the neighbourhood of Kolomäki. The lake belongs to the Yuntolovsky Reserve, zakaznik established in 1999 to conserve the nature of the nearby wetlands, providing, among other things, habitat for a significant population of the shrub Myrica gale, which is protected in Russia.

Krestovsky Stadium, known as Gazprom Arena for sponsorship reasons (Russian: «Газпром Арена»), is a retractable roof stadium with a retractable pitch in the western portion of Krestovsky Island in Saint Petersburg, Russia, which serves as home for FC Zenit Saint Petersburg. The stadium was opened in 2017 for the FIFA Confederations Cup. It is called Saint Petersburg Stadium during major international tournaments, including the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, 2018 FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Euro 2020. It was to host the 2022 UEFA Champions League Final, but as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, UEFA moved the final out of Russia and to the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, a suburb of Paris.

The SM Kirov Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in St. Petersburg, Russia, and was one of the largest stadiums anywhere in the world. The stadium was named after Sergey Kirov.

Municipal Okrug 65 (Russian: муниципа́льный о́круг №65) is a municipal okrug in Primorsky District, one of the eighty-one low-level municipal divisions of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 127,473, up from 83,952 recorded during the 2002 Census.

The Great Nevka or Bolshaya Nevka (Russian: Больша́я Не́вка) is an arm of the Neva that begins about 1 kilometre (0.6 mi) below the Liteyny Bridge in Saint Petersburg.

The Neva ( NEE-və, UK also NAY-və; Russian: Нева́, IPA: [nʲɪˈva] (listen)) is a river in northwestern Russia flowing from Lake Ladoga through the western part of Leningrad Oblast (historical region of Ingria) to the Neva Bay of the Gulf of Finland. Despite its modest length of 74 kilometres (46 mi), it is the fourth-largest river in Europe in terms of average discharge (after the Volga, the Danube and the Rhine).The Neva is the only river flowing from Lake Ladoga. It flows through the city of Saint Petersburg, the three smaller towns of Shlisselburg, Kirovsk and Otradnoye, and dozens of settlements. It is navigable throughout and is part of the Volga–Baltic Waterway and White Sea–Baltic Canal. It is the site of many major historical events, including the Battle of the Neva in 1240 which gave Alexander Nevsky his name, the founding of Saint Petersburg in 1703, and the Siege of Leningrad by the German army during World War II. The river played a vital role in trade between Byzantium and Scandinavia.

The Volga–Baltic Waterway (Волгобалт), formerly known as the Mariinsk Canal System (Мариинская водная система), is a series of canals and rivers in Russia which link the Volga with the Baltic Sea via the Neva. Like the Volga–Don Canal, it connects the biggest lake on Earth, the Caspian Sea, to the World Ocean. Its overall length between Cherepovets and Lake Onega is 368 kilometres (229 mi). Originally constructed in the early 19th century, the system was rebuilt for larger vessels in the 1960s, becoming a part of the Unified Deep Water System of European Russia. The original name "Mariinsky" is the credit to Empress Maria Feodorovna, the second wife of Emperor Paul I of Russia.

Yachts club SMTU was an educational yacht club on Kirov Islands of St. Petersburg. It occupied the island of Bezymyanniy.

Sibur Arena (Russian: Сибур Арена) is a multi-purpose indoor sporting arena that is located in the Petrogradsky District, Saint Petersburg, Russia. The arena can be used for basketball, volleyball, handball, futsal, tennis, and entertainment events. The seating capacity of the arena is 7,120. The arena also has 13 VIP boxes, which can accommodate a total of up to 390 fans.
