The Hundred comprised the parishes of: Ash, East Clandon, West Clandon, East Horsley, West Horsley, Merrow, Ockham, Pirbright, Send and Ripley, Stoke Juxta Guildford, Wanborough, Windlesham, Wisley, Woking and Worplesdon.Minor clerical errors and convenience groupings of other parishes have occurred in some medieval centrally held records at Lambeth and Westminster Palaces for example.In the time of Edward the Confessor, the Hundred was worth £88; by the Domesday Book of 1086 it was worth £125. By 1696, it was worth £297 for taxation purposes ('taxable value') but being a Hundred had no single owner as such; as the rights of the hundreds became divided and lessened, it became purely a useful way of grouping the parishes below the level of the counties.

The Stoke Hill part of Stringers Common, Slyfield Industrial Estate and a Surrey County Council general waste transfer station to the south form the narrowest of its buffer zones to all sides, separating the Slyfield part of Guildford from the village. Between Jacobs Well and Burpham to the south-east and east lie the River Wey, Burpham Court Farm Park, the River Wey Navigation, and the A3, in that order. Other nearby settlements include Sutton Green (beyond which is Old Woking) to the NNE.

Riverside Park is a 61.6-hectare (152-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Guildford in Surrey. It is owned by Guildford Borough Council and the National Trust and managed by Guildford Borough Council.This wetland site has open water and reedbeds. Breeding birds include terns, sedge warblers, reed buntings, water rails, redshanks, snipe and lapwings.There is access from Bowers Lane.

Guildford Spectrum is a leisure complex in Guildford, Surrey, England. Owned by Guildford Borough Council, it was opened on 23 February 1993 at a cost of £28 million. It is the home of ice hockey teams the Guildford Flames and the Guildford Phoenix, Aldwych Speed Club (short track speed skating) and other sports clubs. In addition to its large indoor sports arena, it has an Olympic size ice rink, three swimming pools and a high diving pool, a tenpin bowling centre, squash courts and a football/athletics stadium. The stadium adjoining the complex has 135 seats under cover as well as having a standing capacity of around one thousand. In 2011, operation of Spectrum was outsourced to Freedom Leisure as part of a ten-year deal with Guildford Borough Council.
