Vasna Barrage

Azam and Muazzam Khan's Tomb or Azam Khan and Muazzam Khan's Roza is a medieval brick tomb in Vasna, Ahmedabad, India. The roza was built over graves of Persian brothers, Azam and Muazzam Khan, the archers and architects of Gujarat Sultanate era. They were credited as the architects of Sarkhej Roza. The roza was constructed in 1457 in solid bricks similar to Dariya Khan's Tomb. The garden and the mosque nearby no longer exists.

Pirana Landfill is a large municipal solid waste site located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. In use since 1982, it is one of the largest and oldest landfills in India. The site has become infamous for its towering garbage mounds, health hazards and environmental challenges. The Pirana landfill was established in 1982 to receive solid waste generated by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). For decades, it served as the primary waste disposal site for the city. As urban waste generation increased, the landfill became severely overburdened. Despite reaching full capacity, it continued to operate into the 2020s.

Corporate offices and city centres of many national and international companies like ICICI Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Religare, Claris, Gujarat Gas are located within Paldi. It accommodates Sanskar Kendra museum by the renowned architect Le Corbusier as well as Tagore Memorial Hall. The National Institute of Design is located in Paldi. M K Gandhi's first ashram in India, Kochrab Ashram is also located in Paldi. This area has many houses of the Art Deco period.

APMC is the elevated southern terminal metro station on the North-South Corridor of the Red Line of Ahmedabad Metro in Ahmedabad, India. Around this metro station holds the main Shri Chimanbhai Jivabhai Patel Market which is famous for local groceries in southern Ahmedabad. To the south leads towards the Gyaspur Metro Train Depot which will hold all Red Line metro trains for maintenance purposes. This metro station was inaugurated on 30 September 2022 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was opened to the public on 6 October 2022.

The Calico Mills, officially Ahmedabad Manufacturing and Calico Printing Mills Ltd and M/S ILAC Ltd, was one of the earliest textile mills established in Ahmedabad, India by Sarabhai family. Established in 1888, it closed in 1998. The land, plant and machinery were sold in a public auction in 2010s.

The National Institute of Design, Gujarat (NID) is a national design school in Ahmedabad with campuses in Gandhinagar and Bengaluru . The other NIDs are in Kurukshetra (Haryana), Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) and Jorhat (Assam) and National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh at Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh). The institute functions as an autonomous body under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry , Government of India. NID is recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under Ministry of Science and Technology, the government of India, as a scientific and industrial design research organisation. NID is accorded as "Institutes of National Importance" by Act of Parliament, under the National Institute of Design Act, 2014.

Navchetan School, officially Shri Damubhai Shukla Educational Campus is a school in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India that was founded in 1935 by Damubhai Shukla. It is operated by non-profit Navchetan Trust and affiliated with the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, along with Sikkim Manipal University for Business Administration program. It provides both Gujarati as well as English medium education facilities. It also provides higher secondary school education in commerce as well as science streams.
