KGGR (1040 AM) is a commercial radio station, licensed to Dallas and serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. It is owned by MARC Radio Group and airs an urban gospel radio format, in place since 1990. The call sign stands for Great Gospel Radio. KGGR is a daytimer station. By day, it transmits with 3,300 watts; however, since AM 1040 is a clear channel frequency reserved for Class A WHO in Des Moines, Iowa, KGGR must sign-off at night to avoid interference. During critical hours, the station broadcasts at 2,800 watts. It uses a non-directional antenna, located off Military Parkway in South Dallas.

Lawnview station or Lawnview Avenue station is a DART Light Rail station in Dallas, Texas. It is located in southeastern Dallas and serves the Green Line. The station opened as part of the Green Line's expansion in December 2010.

Buckner Terrace is a neighborhood and 2,800 acre real estate development that included active construction from the 1960s to the 1980s located in East Dallas. Although the Buckner Terrace Homeowner's Association does not serve the portions of the subdivision north of Interstate 30, the subdivision is actually bisected by Interstate 30, with a significant portion of its homes located in the areas near the Claremont and White Rock Hills neighborhoods. The earliest developed portions of the neighborhood were north of Interstate 30 and some homes in Buckner Terrace north of Interstate 30 date from 1959-1962.

Hatcher station or Hatcher Street station is a DART Light Rail station located in Dallas, Texas. It serves the Green Line. The station opened as part of the Green Line's expansion in December 2010. DART owns several vacant lots next to the station that are planned to be used as a community garden for urban farming.With Hatcher Street being renamed to Elise Faye Heggins Street, it is unknown if the station will change its name as well.

KEXB (1440 AM) is a radio station, licensed to University Park, Texas, and serving the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It is owned and operated by Relevant Radio, Inc., and carries a Catholic talk and teaching radio format. Most of the programming comes from the Wisconsin-based radio network known as "Relevant Radio." By day, KEXB is powered at 50,000 watts, the maximum for AM radio stations licensed by the Federal Communications Commission. But at night, to protect other stations on 1440 AM, it reduces power to 350 watts. It uses a directional antenna at all times, employing a four to five-tower array. The transmitter is off Bruton Road in Dallas.

Skyline High School is a public magnet school in the Buckner Terrace area of Dallas, in the U.S. state of Texas. Skyline is a part of the Dallas Independent School District (DISD) and serves grades 9 through 12. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

White Rock Lake is a reservoir located in north-east Dallas, Texas (United States). The lake was formed by damming White Rock Creek, which today widens into the lake before continuing south out of the spillway and emptying into the Trinity River. The lake covers 1,254 acres (5.1 km2) in the east Dallas community.

The Dos Equis Pavilion (originally Coca-Cola Starplex Amphitheatre) is an outdoor amphitheatre located in Fair Park, Dallas, Texas.

Fair Park Coliseum was a 7,200-seat, covered, open-sided, multi-purpose arena in Beaumont, Texas. It hosted local sporting events and concerts. It was opened in 1978. At the time of its opening the Fair Park Coliseum was the primary concert venue in the Beaumont area; within a decade, however, demand for concert tickets proved so high that the much larger Montagne Center was built in 1984, only six years after the Coliseum had opened. The Coliseum would then become the Beaumont home of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice, and Champions on Ice until Ford Arena was built. After significant damage to the coliseum from Hurricane Rita and acquisition of the surrounding property by the Beaumont Housing Authority, the coliseum was demolished. The City of Beaumont awarded a contract for demolition on November 6, 2007.

Fair Park Coliseum is an 8,513-seat multi-purpose arena in Dallas, Texas (USA) on the Fair Park grounds. It was home to the Dallas Black Hawks ice hockey team and Dallas Chaparrals basketball team. It was built in 1955. It was also home to the new ABA's Dallas Generals for the 2009–2010 season before the franchise folded. From March 26, 2011 to 2013, the State Fair Coliseum was home to Dallas' own women's roller derby league, Assassination City Roller Derby of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association.During the 1984 Dallas Grand Prix Formula One race held at Fair Park, the Coliseum doubled as the pit paddock for the Formula One teams in the Grand Prix. The Dallas Tornado soccer club hosted the four-team regionals of the 1975 NASL Indoor tournament.

Dallas Ice Arena was an indoor arena in Dallas, Texas. It hosted the United States Hockey League's Dallas Texans from 1945 to 1949. The arena held 8,900 people.

Lincoln High School is public high school located in Dallas, Texas (USA) which enrolls students in grades 9-12 and is a part of the Dallas Independent School District. Lincoln's magnet school offers Radio/Television/Film, Print Journalism, and Humanities. Lincoln has a variety of activities including Academic Decathlon, Debate, One Act Play, The Wall Of Sound Marching Band, and a variety of sports. The school has won national and state championships in boys' basketball. For the 2018-2020 biennium, Lincoln is classified by the University Interscholastic League (UIL) as a 4A Division school, competing in District 4A-5 (Division II) in football, and District 4A-12 in all other sports.In 2018, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency, with a 2-Star Distinction for Academic Achievements in Mathematics and Post Secondary Readiness.
