The Mor Ephrem Syriac Orthodox Church (Turkish: İstanbul Mor Efrem Süryani Kadim Ortodoks Kilisesi, Syriac: ܥܕܬܐ ܕܡܪܝ ܐܦܪܝܡ ܕܣܘܪ̈ܝܝܐ ܩܕ̈ܡܝܐ ܐܪ̈ܬܕܘܟܣܝܐ, romanized: ʿIdto d-Mor ʾAp̄rem d-Suryoye Qamoye ʾOrṯodoksoye) is a Syriac Orthodox church in Yeşilköy on the European part of Istanbul. Opened in 2023, it is the first church built since the foundation of the Republic of Turkey. It is dedicated to Ephrem the Syrian.

Yeşilköy (Turkish pronunciation: [jeˈʃilcœj]; meaning "Green Village"; prior to 1926, San Stefano or Santo Stefano Greek: Άγιος Στέφανος, romanized: Ágios Stéfanos, Turkish: Ayastefanos) is an affluent neighbourhood (Turkish: mahalle) in the district of Bakırköy, Istanbul, Turkey, on the Marmara Sea about 11 kilometres (7 mi) west of Istanbul's historic city centre. Prior to the rapid increase of Istanbul's population in the 1970s, Yeşilköy was a secluded village and sea resort.

Henaton was a town of ancient Thrace, inhabited during Byzantine times.Its site is located north of Yeşilköy in European Turkey.

Yeşilyurt (literally "green homeland" in Turkish) is a neighborhood (mahalle) in the municipality and district of Bakırköy, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 8,433 (2022). It is located along Marmara Sea, and borders to the southwest the neighbourhood of Yeşilköy, to which it once belonged, and to the northeast that of Ataköy. The population of the quarter is mainly affluent, and lives in low-rise apartment houses. Yeşilyurt has a station for the Marmaray commuter railway between Gebze and Halkalı. The neighborhood has many smaller parks and green area. The Polat Renaissance Hotel and the Yeşilyurt Sports Club are also located inside Yeşilyurt. The Yeşilköy Feneri, a lighthouse built in 1856 and still in use, is located at Yeşilköy Point (Turkish: Yeşilköy Burnu). Its outbuilding is being used today as a fish and seafood restaurant. Yeşilyurt is also home to Istanbul Hava Harp Okulu (Air Force Academy) and to the Air Force Museum.

Yeşilköy Feneri is a historical lighthouse still in use located on the northern coast of Sea of Marmara at Yeşilyurt neighborhood (once part of Yeşilköy) in Istanbul's Bakırköy district, Turkey.

Atatürk Havalimanı is the western terminal station on the M1A line of the Istanbul Metro. The station services Atatürk International Airport in Istanbul, which was the primary international gateway in Turkey. Atatürk Havalimanı was opened on 20 December 2002, along with DTM—İstanbul Fuar Merkezi, when the M1A (then just M1) was extended west of Yenibosna to the airport. The station is located next to the international terminal and is linked to the domestic terminal via a walkway. As a result of the closing of Atatürk International Airport for commercial passenger traffic and its replacement by a new airport northwest of the city in April 2019, the station no longer receives passenger traffic. It will continue to serve the airport in its remaining functions, including business flights, cargo, and general aviation; and the area surrounding the airport. The M11, which will connect the new airport to the rest of the metro system, will not open until 2020 at the earliest.

The Turkish Air Force Academy (TuAFA) (Turkish: Hava Harp Okulu) is a four-year co-educational military academy located in the city of Istanbul, Turkey. It is part of the National Defence University. It is the main human resource for the Turkish Air Force Command. It was founded in 1951, replacing the Army Flight School, with the mandate to train the officers of the Turkish Air Force. The academy provides an engineering education to Air Force cadets from Turkey as well as a number of other countries, and prepares them for careers in their respective Air Forces. TuAFA is recognized by the Turkish Council of Higher Education, as a university accredited to grant engineering degrees. It should not be confused with the Air War College (Hava Harp Enstitüsü). Since 1992, the academy has accepted female cadets and allied countries' cadets for enrolment. Accepting cadets not only from Turkey but from all over the world makes this college unique. Atatürk Airport (IATA: ISL, ICAO: LTBA) (former IATA code: IST) (Turkish: Atatürk Havalimanı) is a general aviation airport in Istanbul. It used to be an intercontinental passenger and cargo hub and closed to commercial passenger flights on 6 April 2019 when all flights were transferred to the new Istanbul Airport. All freight operations subsequently relocated as well by 5 February 2022.

Yeşilköy Prof. Dr. Murat Dilmener Emergency Hospital (Turkish: Yeşilköy Prof. Dr. Murat Dilmener Acil Durum Hastanesi, commonly referred to as Yeşilköy Emergency Hospital), is a hospital in Yeşilköy neighborhood of Bakırköy district in Istanbul Province, Turkey for use in emergency situations like pandemics, epidemics or earthquakes. It was opened in end May 2020.

Dekaton (Ancient Greek: Δέκατον, Latin: Decatum) was a town of ancient Thrace. Its site is located north of Yeşilköy in European Turkey.

World Trade Center Istanbul (WTCI) (Turkish: İstanbul Dünya Ticaret Merkezi, İDTM) is a service company established in 1982 and based in Yeşilköy, Istanbul, Turkey, which, to promote international commerce and world trade, provides commercial information and market research services, organizes trade delegation programs, operates fair areas and offers office, convention and meeting halls, runs hotels within its organization. It is owned by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Bakırköy Municipality, Istanbul Chamber of Industry, Istanbul Commodity Exchange as well as Economic Development Foundation of Turkey.The complex of World Trade Center Istanbul covers an area of 500,000 m2 (120 acres) situated next to the Atatürk International Airport. It has a subway station and a vast parking lot for 6,000 cars in total.

Istanbul Fair Center Yeşilköy (Turkish: İstanbul Fuar Merkezi Yeşilköy), also known as Istanbul Expo Center, is a fairground close to the Istanbul Atatürk Airport at Yeşilköy neighborhood of Bakırköy district in Istanbul, Turkey. It is owned by World Trade Center Istanbul, which is part of the global network of World Centers Association with over 300 licenses in about 100 countries.The fairground covers an area of 249,000 m2 (2,680,000 sq ft) in total consisting of eleven halls with a leasable area of 98,000 m2 (1,050,000 sq ft). Eight of the halls are operated by CNR Expo while the remaining three halls are run by WTC Istanbul. Around 100 national and international trade fairs are hosted by the fair center each year.The fair center has a television channel IFM TV as an online service, which broadcasts the events during the exhibitions. Neighboring facilities are WTC Istanbul Business Towers, WOW Hotels and WOW Convention Center.The fairground is served by the Istanbul Metro line M1A at the station DTM—İstanbul Fuar Merkezi.
