Hollywood Park was a thoroughbred race course located in Inglewood, California, about 3 miles (5 km) from Los Angeles International Airport and adjacent to the Forum indoor arena. In 1994, the original Hollywood Park Casino was added to the racetrack complex. Horse racing and training were shut down in December 2013 though the casino operations continued until a new state of the art casino building, the new Hollywood Park Casino, opened in October 2016.The track was demolished in stages from 2014 until 2016 and the area is now the site of a master-planned neighborhood in development named Hollywood Park after the former track. The most prominent parts of the development are SoFi Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL), YouTube Theater, a 6,000-seat performance arts venue, Hollywood Park Casino, and the NFL Los Angeles building, which is home to the NFL Network, NFL RedZone, NFL.com, and the NFL app.

SoFi occupies the former site of the Hollywood Park Racetrack, 0.15 miles (0.24 km) southeast of Kia Forum and 0.2 miles (0.32 km) northwest of Intuit Dome, and 3 miles (4.8 km) from Los Angeles International Airport. The stadium complex is a component of Hollywood Park, a master planned neighborhood in development on the site of the former racetrack. Hollywood Park Casino re-opened in a new building on the property in October 2016, becoming the development's first establishment to open.Opened in September 2020, the fixed-roof stadium is home to the National Football League (NFL)'s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, as well as the annual LA Bowl in college football. SoFi Stadium is one of two stadiums currently shared by a pair of NFL teams, the other being MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, shared by the New York Giants and New York Jets. Intuit Dome is an arena under construction in Inglewood, California, United States. Located south of SoFi Stadium, it will be the home of the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), moving from Crypto.com Arena. After the Clippers were required to acquire another Inglewood venue to settle a legal dispute with The Madison Square Garden Company (owners of Kia Forum, the Lakers' former home arena) that sought to block its construction, a groundbreaking ceremony for the new arena was held on September 17, 2021, with construction expected to be completed in 2024.

Kia Forum (formerly the Forum) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Inglewood, California, United States, adjacent to Los Angeles. Located on West Manchester Boulevard, with Pincay Drive to the south and between Kareem Court and Prairie Avenue to the east and west, it is north of SoFi Stadium and the Hollywood Park Casino, and about 3 miles (4.8 km) east of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The Forum opened on December 30, 1967. Architect Charles Luckman's vision was realized by engineers Carl Johnson and Svend Nielsen. It was a groundbreaking structure without extensive internal support pillars that was unique in an indoor arena the size of the Forum.From 1967 to 1999, the Forum was home to the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL) before both teams joined the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center (now Crypto.com Arena). From 1997 to 2001, the Forum was also the home of the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks until they moved to Crypto.com Arena as well. Alongside Madison Square Garden in New York City, the Forum was once one of the best-known indoor sports venues in the U.S., largely due to the Lakers' success and the Hollywood celebrities often seen there. On September 24, 2014, the Forum was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. On March 24, 2020, Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer purchased The Forum from MSG for $400 million. The Forum has previously been known as the Great Western Forum, and was nicknamed "the Fabulous Forum" by long-time Lakers play-by-play announcer Chick Hearn. It is also known informally as the LA Forum to distinguish it from other places with the name "Forum".

Ánimo Inglewood Charter High School is a public charter school in Inglewood, California, operated by Green Dot Public Schools of Los Angeles. It was the second Green Dot school to be established, due in part to the success of Ánimo Leadership Charter High School. It opened in August 2002, with 145 new students, adding a new freshman class of 140 every year until 2006, when it reached full capacity to approximately 525 students. Classes began at the First United Methodist Church on the corner of Kelso Street and Spruce Avenue for three years, until moving to the old Kaiser Permanente hospital on Manchester Boulevard. So far, seven classes have graduated from Animo Inglewood. The first class graduated in 2006. More than 85% of students from each class graduate and enroll in four-year colleges/universities. Animo Inglewood is known for its academic rigor and high academic expectations. It has outperformed local high schools, including Inglewood High and Morningside High in the annual API reports, scoring a 775 API during the 2011–12 school year. Freshmen are admitted through a lottery process; about 145 students that apply are accepted to the school, while the remainder are placed on a waiting list.

Good Shepherd Lutheran School was a parochial school in Inglewood, California, affiliated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS), Pacific Southwest District (LCMS). The school opened on February 10, 1936, and closed on June 12, 2003. It had a history of 67 years as an institution.
