Centenary University is a private university in Hackettstown, New Jersey. Founded as a preparatory school by the Newark Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1867, Centenary evolved into a Junior College for women and later a coeducational four year University offering undergraduate, Master's level, and doctoral graduate programs.Situated in suburban Warren County, New Jersey, 52 miles west of New York City, 35 miles southeast of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, and 26 miles northeast of Easton, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley, the school's main campus is identifiable by the Old Main building, now known as the Seay Building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Jacob C. Allen House is a historic building at 206 West Moore Street in Hackettstown, Warren County, New Jersey. It was built c. 1870 with a Second Empire architectural style. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places for its significance in architecture on August 24, 2005.

The district serves students in four schools: two elementary schools (covering K-4), a middle school (5-8), and a four-year high school (9-12). As of the 2021–22 school year, the district, comprised of four schools, had an enrollment of 2,003 students and 172.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.6:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.The high school serves students Hackettstown, as well as those from the townships of Allamuchy, Independence, and Liberty, as part of sending/receiving relationships.

The John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center is a sports facility located in Hackettstown, New Jersey. It is within the campus of Centenary University and is the home of the Centenary University Cyclones. The school made an expansion and renovation worth $5 million in January 2007. The expanded athletic facility includes a 1,200 seat gymnasium with two full-sized multi-purpose courts, indoor batting cages, a wrestling room, and other amenities.

Hackettstown is a New Jersey Transit station in Hackettstown, New Jersey. The station is located at the intersection of Valentine Street and Beatty Street and is the western terminus of the Morristown Line and the Montclair-Boonton Line, which both provide service to Hoboken Terminal or to Pennsylvania Station in Midtown Manhattan via Midtown Direct. Hackettstown station is the only active New Jersey Transit station in Warren County. The line from Hackettstown–Dover is diesel powered, requiring a transfer at Dover, Montclair State University or Newark Broad Street to an electrified train to New York Penn Station. Proposals exist of an extension of the Montclair-Boonton Line, including an extension to Washington and possibly Phillipsburg further along the Washington Secondary.

Hackettstown is a town in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is perhaps best known as the home to the US headquarters of Mars, Inc.. As of the 2020 United States census, the town's population was 10,248, an increase of 524 (+5.4%) from the 2010 census count of 9,724, which in turn reflected a decline of 679 (−6.5%) from the 10,403 counted in the 2000 census.Hackettstown was incorporated as a town by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 9, 1853, from portions of Independence Township. Portions of territory were exchanged with Mansfield Township in 1857, 1860, 1872 and 1875.

It broadcasts an adult contemporary radio format and is owned locally by WRNJ Radio, Inc.By day, WRNJ is powered at 2,000 watts. But because AM 1510 is a clear channel frequency reserved for Class A WLAC in Nashville, WRNJ must reduce power at night to 230 watts.

Stephens State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is 805 acres (3.26 km2) in area, located in western Morris County, north of Hackettstown along the upper Musconetcong River. The park is operated and maintained by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. The park includes the remnants of one of the 23 locks, as well as a section of the towpath, of the Morris Canal, built in 1831 to transport anthracite coal from Pennsylvania to New York City. A 2 miles (3.2 km) section of the Highland Trail runs through the park. The park is a popular destination for recreational trout fishing. The park offers camping facilities during the summer months.

The Beattystown Historic District is a historic district in the village of Beattystown, Mansfield Township, Warren County, New Jersey. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 28, 1990 for its significance in architecture, commerce, industry, and settlement pattern from 1762 to 1929. It includes 32 contributing buildings.

Hackettstown Airport (FAA LID: N05) is a public-use airport located in the Beattystown area of Mansfield Township, Warren County, New Jersey, United States, three nautical miles (5.56 km) southwest of the central business district of Hackettstown. The airport is privately owned. Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned N05 by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.

Beattystown is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Mansfield Township, in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 4,554.Beattystown has been listed as one of the 10 most endangered historic sites in New Jersey by Preservation New Jersey.Beattystown was named after George Beatty, who built a mill here c. 1762.

The Stephens Homestead is a historic farmhouse located at 800 Willow Grove Road in Stephens State Park in Mount Olive Township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. Built around 1865, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 14, 2013, for its significance in agriculture and architecture.
