Korea Championship (European Tour)

The 2018 International Crown was a women's golf team event organized by the LPGA, played 4–7 Oct at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon, South Korea. This was the third International Crown, a biennial match play event contested between teams of four players representing eight countries. Due to the anticipated arrival of Typhoon Kong-rey, the tournament schedule was adjusted; the second round tee times were moved earlier on Friday and the third round, originally scheduled for Saturday, was started on Friday afternoon. The final round was to be played Saturday, 6 October, instead of Sunday. However, typhoon rains arrived earlier than expected so that no matches were played Saturday; the third round was finished Sunday, followed by the singles matches.

The 2018 Amata Friendship Cup (Thai: อมตะ เฟรนด์ชิพ คัพ 2018; Japanese: 2018年アマタフレンドシップカップ) was the first edition of the Amata Friendship Cup matches, held 21–23 December at the Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi, Thailand. The Amata Friendship Cup is a team competition between the top mixed-gender professional and amateur golfers from Thailand and Japan. It is a three-day match play event between teams of twelve players with a similar format to the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup. Boonchu Ruangkit and Virada Nirapathpongporn captained the Thai team and Naomichi Ozaki and Miho Koga captained the Japanese team. Team Thailand won by a score of 15–13.

Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea (Korean: 잭 니클라우스 골프클럽 코리아, romanized: Jaek Nikarauseu Golpeu Keulleop Koria) in Incheon, South Korea, is the focal point of Songdo IBD's environmentally focused green space program. It is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Nicklaus Design, headed by Jack Nicklaus.From the back tees, the course exceeds 7,400 yards (6,770 m) and presents a challenge to even the most talented golfers. Within the golf course, there will be a Western-style fairway community, including 179 detached single family villas.

The 2015 Presidents Cup was the 11th Presidents Cup, played at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon, South Korea from 8–11 October. It was the first time the Presidents Cup was played in Asia.The United States won for the sixth successive time with a 151⁄2–141⁄2 victory over the International team.

Incheon National University (INU), previously also known as University of Incheon (UI), is a national university in Incheon, Seoul, South Korea. The University is located in Songdo International Business District in Incheon Free Economic Zone. (Incheon Free Economic Zone). The university operates the main campus Songdo, and sattilite campuses in Michuhol and Dohwa-dong.

Incheon National University Station is a subway station on Line 1 of the Incheon Subway in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea. It has four exits connecting it to Incheon National University, nearby hotels, and the east side of Songdo Central Park.

Central Park Station (Korean: 센트럴파크; Hanja: 中央公園) is a subway station on Line 1 of the Incheon Subway in Jiha240, Incheon-tower-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea.The name of the station is written as "센트럴파크" (most Koreans pronounce itssenteureolpakeu 쎈트럴파크) in hangul. It should be also "센트럴파크" in mixed script of hangul and hanja, but "中央公園" (hangul: 중앙공원, Revised Romanization: Jung-ang-gong-won) is its hanja name.

G-Tower (Korean: G타워) is a 33-floor, 150-metre (490 ft) skyscraper currently completed. Inside there are international organizations, restaurants, banks and a post office. The city can be viewed from its 33rd floor, which is open for the public. The tower is popular with foreigners as most of the international organizations especially United Nations offices are located in the building.

Songdo Central Park (Korean: 송도 센트럴파크) is a public park in the Songdo district of Incheon, South Korea. The park is the centerpiece of Songdo IBD's green space plan, inspired by New York City's Central Park. Central Park is a public zone in the center of Korea's first international city, covering 101 acres (41 hectares); the park covers almost 10% of Songdo IBD’s total area. It serves to connect to various civic and cultural destinations by providing a seawater canal that refreshes itself every 24 hours.

International Business District Station (Korean: 국제업무지구역; Hanja: 國際業務地區驛) is a Line 1 subway station of the Incheon Subway in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea. It is located in the Songdo International Business District.

BIT Zone Station (Hangul: 지식정보단지) is a subway station on Line 1 of the Incheon Subway in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea. The station has three entrances, a small community stage, and a large sky-lit atrium inside the fare area. The name "Bio-Information Technology Zone" refers to Songdo planners' efforts to promote scientific entrepreneurship in the area. The station is one of few in the Seoul metro system to have a different English name from the Korean one.

Songdo, officially known as Songdo International Business District (Songdo IBD), is a smart city built on 600 ha (1,500 acres) of reclaimed land along Incheon's waterfront, 30 km (19 mi) southwest of Seoul, South Korea. It is connected to Incheon International Airport by a 12.3 km (7.6 mi) reinforced concrete highway bridge called Incheon Bridge. Along with Yeongjong and Cheongna, it is part of the Incheon Free Economic Zone.The Songdo International Business District will feature the Northeast Asia Trade Tower, G-tower, and the Incheon Tower. Schools, hospitals, apartments, office buildings and cultural amenities are to be built in the district. Homages of architectural hallmarks, including New York City's Central Park and Venice's waterways, will also be incorporated. This 10-year development project is estimated to cost in excess of $40 billion, making it one of the most expensive development projects ever undertaken.With 106 buildings and 22 million square ft. of LEED-certified space, the green building certification by the United States Green Building Council, Songdo IBD makes up about 40% of all LEED-certified space in South Korea.As of 2020, the population of Songdo exceeds 167,346 people.
