Sang Run State Park is a public recreation area covering 81 acres (33 ha) in Sang Run, Garrett County, Maryland. Focal points of the state park are a homestead, Friends Delight, that dates from the early 1800s, and the historic Friends Store, which as a center of Sang Run's community life sold various staples and served as post office until the 1970s. The park offers picnicking, hiking trail, and put-in for Class V whitewater rafting on the Youghiogheny River.

Mercy Chapel at Mill Run is an historic Carpenter Gothic-style church located at Selbysport, Garrett County, Maryland. It is a one-story, one room frame structure built on an octagonal plan above a coursed stone foundation. The interior of the chapel is a fine example of local craftsmanship and is virtually unchanged since the 1870s. Two small graveyard plots lie adjacent to the chapel. It is one of the most architecturally sophisticated and well-preserved octagonal buildings in Maryland, and one of only a dozen mid-19th-century octagonal buildings surviving in Maryland.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Adventure Sports Center International is an Olympic standard white water rafting and canoe/kayak slalom center located on the mountaintop above the Wisp Ski Resort at Deep Creek Lake, McHenry, Maryland, United States. In addition to serving as a venue for slalom races and training, the center offers a range of services to the general public including guided raft trips, inflatable kayak rentals, and riverboard rentals.The center opened in May 2007, constructed at a cost of $24 million, and is the third pump-powered artificial whitewater facility built in North America.
