The Dominion Enterprises Building is a 20-story commercial office building located in downtown Norfolk, Virginia on Granby Street. The 500,000 square foot building was opened in 2007 and is owned by Dominion Enterprises. It contains a Heritage Bank branch on the first floor.

Monticello Arcade is a historic shopping arcade located in Norfolk, Virginia. It was built in 1907 on land leased from the Selden Grandy Estate, and is a three-story, Beaux Arts style steel frame building faced in molded and polychromed terra cotta. Both the facades are seven bays in length and are composed of a two-story Ionic order surmounted by an elaborate cornice, with an attic story above. The interior plan consists of a longitudinal mall open to the roof, lit by skylights, and entered through the central bay of each facade.

The Wells Theatre is a performing arts venue located in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. It has housed the Virginia Stage Company since 1979. The Wells Theatre is owned and operated by the City of Norfolk and is part of The Seven Venues.

Old Norfolk City Hall, also known as the Seaboard Building and U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, is a historic city hall located at Norfolk, Virginia. It was built in 1898–1900, and is a three-story faced with rusticated stone and yellow brick in a Neo-Palladian Revival style. It features a central pedimented engaged portico with Corinthian order pilasters that contains the main entrance. The building housed a post office and Federal courts until they moved to the Walter E. Hoffman United States Courthouse about 1935. Title to the building was transferred from the U.S. government to the city of Norfolk in 1937, when it was converted into a city hall.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. In 2009, it became Norfolk's main library. In 2014, the library was expanded to become the Slover Branch/Downtown Norfolk Public Library; the expansion included construction of a new atrium connecting the former city hall with the neighboring Selden Arcade. The library is named in honor of Samuel L. Slover, former mayor of Norfolk.

MacArthur Square is a Tide Light Rail station in Norfolk, Virginia. Opened in August 2011, it is situated in downtown Norfolk in a small block bounded by Plume Street, City Hall Avenue, Bank Street and Atlantic Street.The station is adjacent to the MacArthur Center, MacArthur Memorial (former Norfolk City Hall), the Norfolk Library Downtown Branch, the business district along Main Street, Waterside Festival Marketplace, Nauticus, and many of downtown's larger hotels. This station is also the closest to HRT's Elizabeth River Ferry service to Downtown Portsmouth.

Tidewater Community College (TCC) is a public community college in South Hampton Roads, Virginia, with campuses in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach. It is part of the Virginia Community College System and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the associate degree.

The Norfolk College for Young Ladies was a finishing school in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia that operated from 1880 to 1899. The college was chartered on Feb. 20, 1880 and opened with 125 students. John L. Roper was president of the college's board. The school was founded to reduce the flow of young women leaving Norfolk for their education. It was located at the northwest corner of Granby and Washington Streets; in 1887 Washington Street was renamed "College Place". In 1899, Mary Washington College took over the building for a few years.In 1905 the building reopened as the Algonquin Hotel, one of several downtown hotels newly built or converted to accommodate the crowds of visitors expected for the Jamestown Exposition in 1907. Over the years, the building operated as a hotel under various names. In 1918, it became the Hotel Edward, and in 1936 the Hotel Lee. Until the 1960s, the ground floor was the location of various retail stores on Granby St., including a People's Drug Store. After a 1983 fire, the building was demolished.The school's former location on "College Place" is now part of the Norfolk campus of Tidewater Community College.

Norfolk City Hall, also known as the MacArthur Memorial, is a historic city hall located at Norfolk, Virginia. It was built in 1847, and is a two-story, stuccoed and granite faced, temple-form building measuring 80 feet by 60 feet. It features a front portico supported by six massive Tuscan order columns, and a gable roof topped by a cupola. The building housed city offices until 1918, and courtrooms until 1960. In 1961, the entire building interior was gutted to house the museum and tomb of General Douglas MacArthur and his wife. The MacArthur Memorial also includes a visitor center building and a research center. Norfolk City Hall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
