Lusail Plaza Towers

Lusail (Arabic: لوسيل, ALA-LC: Lūsayl, Arabic pronunciation: [luːˈsajl]) is the second-largest city in Qatar after Doha, and the economic capital of Qatar, located on the coast, in the southern part of the municipality of Al Daayen. Lusail lies about 23 kilometres (14 mi) north of the Doha city centre, just north of the West Bay Lagoon, on over 38 square kilometres (15 sq mi) and will eventually have the infrastructure to accommodate 450,000 people. Of these 450,000 people, it is estimated that there will be 250,000 or fewer residents, 190,000 office workers and 60,000 retail workers. It is planned to have marinas, residential areas, island resorts, commercial districts, luxury shopping and leisure facilities, a golf course community, man-made islands, and several entertainment districts. Construction is still ongoing. Development is being carried out by the state-controlled developer Qatari Diar along with Parsons Corporation and Dorsch-Gruppe. Lusail Stadium was one of the venues for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and hosted the final. It is also the site of a Formula One race track where the first Qatar Grand Prix was held in 2021.

Zone 69 is a zone of the municipality of Al Daayen in Qatar. The main districts recorded in the 2015 population census were Al Egla, Al Kharayej, Jabal Thuaileb, Lusail, and Wadi Al Banat. Another district which falls within its administrative boundaries is Al Aaliya Island.

Al Kharayej (Arabic: الخرايج, romanized: Al Kharā’ij) is a district in Qatar that is located geographically in the municipality of Al Daayen but is included in the census as a district of Ad-Dawhah. Following the adoption of a cabinet resolution in 2002, Al Kharayej became one of three settlements in Qatar where foreigners could own real estate. It is a part of Lusail city.

Jabal Thuaileb (Arabic: جبل ثعيلب, romanized: Jabal Thu‘aylib, lit. 'Fox Hills') is a Qatari district in the municipality of Al Daayen. It is also a census-designated district of Ad-Dawhah. It is closely situated to Lusail. After a cabinet resolution was passed in 2002, Jabal Thuaileb became the one of three districts in Qatar where foreigners could own real estate.

Lusail Stadium (Arabic: استاد لوسيل, ALA-LC: Istād Lūsayl) is a football stadium in Lusail, Qatar. Owned by the Qatar Football Association, it is the largest stadium in Qatar and the Middle East by capacity; one of eight stadiums built for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, it hosted the 2022 FIFA World Cup final game between Argentina and France on 18 December 2022. It is currently the second largest football stadium in Asia but eventually will reduce its current capacity of 88,966 to 40,000 in the near future. The stadium is located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Doha, in the city of Lusail. Lusail Stadium was inaugurated on 9 September 2022 with the Lusail Super Cup game.

Lusail University (Arabic: جَامِعَة لُوسَيْل, ALA-LC: Jāmiʻat Lūsayl) is a private university in Lusail, Qatar. It is the first national private university in Qatar.

Lusail station is the northern terminus of the Doha Metro's Red Line and serves the city of Lusail. The station is located on Al Khor Coastal Road.

Place Vendôme Mall (Arabic: بلاس فاندوم مول) is a shopping mall on the Lusail, Qatar. It is a luxury mall built at a cost of $1.3bn, that was opened in 2022. It was built with inspiration from French architecture and includes many shops, restaurants and cafes. This complex has a 3D water fountain.Its the biggest mall in the world in terms of total area

Al Egla (Arabic: العقلة) is a Qatari district whose management is split between the municipality of Al Daayen and the municipality of Doha. It adjoins the area of the planned city of Lusail. Rather than traditional neighborhoods, Al Egla consists of two large gated compounds: Al Egla Gardens and Golf Gardens.

The Doha Golf Club in Doha, Qatar is an 18-hole, 7,374-yard, par 72 championship course that was designed by Peter Harradine. The Doha Golf Club is also one of the first grass golf course ever built in the Middle East. Open to nonmembers, it has a 2 808 yards long floodlit nine-hole academy course, and a clubhouse with three restaurants and a golf shop. The club hosts the Qatar Masters golf tournament.

At the 2011 Pan Arab Games, the golf events were held at Doha Golf Club in Doha, Qatar from 11–16 December. A total of 4 events were contested.

The Qatar Masters is a European Tour golf tournament held at Doha Golf Club in Doha, Qatar. When founded in 1998, it was one of two European Tour events to be staged in the Arabian Peninsula, but was at one point, one of six. From 2005 to 2007 the tournament was co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour. The tournament had modest fields in its early years, but with the aid of "promotional" money paid to top golfers to appear, and being scheduled within a three-week period that included events in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, it developed to have one of the European Tour's strongest fields. In 2018, due to travel restrictions between the United Arab Emirates and Qatar as a result of the ongoing diplomatic dispute in the Arab World, it was moved to later in the year, and is no longer held at the same time as the Abu Dhabi and Dubai events. The date change coincided with a reduction in prize money, and resulted in a lower field strength than previous editions.
