Ponte Garibaldi is a bridge that links Lungotevere De' Cenci to Piazza Giuseppe Gioachino Belli in Rome (Italy), in the Rioni Regola and Trastevere.

Sant'Agata in Trastevere is one of the churches of Rome, located in the Trastevere district, at Largo San Giovanni de Matha, 91. The church is dedicated to the Sicilian St Agatha, martyred in approximately 251, whose cult soon spread well beyond Sicily. She is one of several virgin martyrs who are commemorated by name in the Canon of the Mass. Agatha is also depicted in the famous mosaics of the church of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo in Ravenna, where she appears, richly dressed, in the procession of women martyrs along the north wall.

San Crisogono is a church in Rome (rione Trastevere) dedicated to the martyr Saint Chrysogonus. It was one of the tituli, the first parish churches of Rome, and was probably built in the 4th century under Pope Sylvester I (314–335), rebuilt in the 12th century by John of Crema, and again by Giovanni Battista Soria, funded by Scipione Borghese, in the early 17th century. The area beneath the sacristy was investigated by Fr. L. Manfredini and Fr. C. Piccolini in 1907. They found remains of the first church (see below). After they had made this discovery, the area was excavated and studied. The church is served by Trinitarians. Among the previous Cardinal Priests was Vincenzo Gioacchino Raffaele Luigi Pecci (1853–1878), elected Pope Leo XIII.

The church of Santa Maria della Luce is an ancient church in the Rione of Trastevere in Rome, Italy. The church was originally known as San Salvatore in Corte. That church was founded by Saint Bonosa in the 4th century at the site of the excubitorium or barracks of the "cohort VII Brigade". The church was rebuilt in the 12th century, together with bell-tower, which is still preserved. In 1595, the church was placed under the jurisdiction of the nearby Basilica of San Crisogono. In 1728, a Pope Benedict XIII assigned the church to the Minims, an order established by St. Francis of Paola. The current name of the church dates from 1730, when a series of miracles were linked to an icon painted on the exterior of a nearby house nearby, which was seen to emit light. The image was then transferred to the Church, and changed name. The church interior underwent reconstruction by architect Gabriele Valvassori, though the facade remained unfinished. The apse, even after Baroque restoration, still shows signs of the original Romanesque architecture. The apse is frescoed with The Eternal Father by Sebastiano Conca. The chapel of St Joseph on the right has an altarpiece depicting the Death of St Joseph (1754) by Giovanni Conca. The chapel of St Francis of Paola is on the left, and has an altarpiece depicting Saints Francis de Sales and John of Valois. The chapel on the right dedicated to Saints Joachim and Anne has an altarpiece depicting the Family of the Virgin (1753) by Pietro Labruzzi. Other chapels have modern artworks mostly showing Latin American devotions. There is also a painting by Onofrio Avellino depicting Miracle of St Francis of Paola walking across the Straits of Messina (1700). From 2003, the church is home a Latin-American Mission, which aims to serve migrants from that region living in the Diocese of Rome, entrusted to priests of the Scalabriniani order. The Mission offers many services to the Latin American community ranging from social to religious.

The Temple of Faunus (Latin: aedes Fauni) was an ancient Roman temple on the southern end of the Tiber Island in Rome, dedicated to Faunus, the god of flocks. It was the only temple with that dedication in Rome itself. It was a hexastyle prostyle built in 196 BC by Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus and Gaius Scribonius Libo and financed by a fine they had imposed on the shepherd of a flock which (probably) had accidentally grazed for free on a public field. It was dedicated in 194 BC on the Ides of February, anticipating by two days the major Roman festival of Faunus, the Lupercalia. If still in use by the 4th-and 5th century, it would have been closed during the persecution of pagans in the late Roman Empire.

San Giovanni Battista dei Genovesi (Saint John the Baptist of the Genoans) is a Roman Catholic church on via Anicia in the Trastevere district of Rome. It is the regional church for Genoa. It was built between 1481 and 1492 by the wealthy Genoan Meliaduce Cicala, treasurer of the Camera Apostolica. It was an addition to a hospital for Genoese sailors which Cicala built at porto di Ripa Grande. In 1533 the Confraternity of Genoans was founded to administer the church and the hospital - the latter continued to function until the mid 18th century. The church was rebuilt in 1737, with an apse added to its facade. It was then little altered until the mid 19th century, when a new facade was added and the interior redesigned. In 1890 the confraternity was renamed Opera Pia.

Fatebenefratelli Hospital (officially Ospedale San Giovanni Calibita Fatebenefratelli) is a hospital located on the western side of the Tiber Island in Rome. It was established in 1585 and is currently run by the Brothers Hospitallers of Saint John of God. The hospital is known for having sheltered Jews during the Holocaust by diagnosing them with a fictitious disease called "Syndrome K".

The Pons Cestius (Italian: Ponte Cestio) is an ancient Roman bridge connecting the right bank of the Tiber with the west of the Tiber Island in Rome, Italy. In Late Antiquity, the bridge was replaced and renamed the Pons Gratiani. It is also known as the Italian: Ponte San Bartolomeo, lit. 'Bridge of Saint Bartholomew'. No more than one third of the present stone bridge is of ancient material, as it was entirely rebuilt and extended in the 19th century, after numerous earlier restorations.

The Tiber Island (Italian: Isola Tiberina, Latin: Insula Tiberina) is the only river island in the part of the Tiber which runs through Rome. Tiber Island is located in the southern bend of the Tiber. The island is boat-shaped, approximately 270 metres (890 feet) long and 67 metres (220 feet) wide, and has been connected with bridges to both sides of the river since antiquity. Being a seat of the ancient temple of Asclepius and later a hospital, the island is associated with medicine and healing. The Fatebenefratelli Hospital founded in the 16th century, and the San Bartolomeo all'Isola dating from the 10th century are located on the island.

Santa Cecilia in Trastevere is a 5th-century church in Rome, Italy, in the Trastevere rione, devoted to the Roman martyr Saint Cecilia (early 3rd century AD).

San Paolo alla Regola, a church in the Regola area of Rome, was made a cardinalate deaconry by Pope Pius XII in 1946. Its present Cardinal-Deacon, since 21 November 2010, is Francesco Monterisi, archpriest emeritus of the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls.

Santa Maria in Monticelli is a church in the rione of Regola in Rome, sited on the street of the same name. A church was founded at the site in the 12th century and reconsecrated by Innocent II in 1143. It was known as Sancta Maria in Monticellis Arenulae de Urbe, in a bull by Urban IV in 1264. Little remains of the medieval church, except for the bell-tower. The church was entirely reconstructed in 1716 by Matteo Sassi, on a commission by Clement XI, and in 1860 by Francesco Azzurri. The church is the home to the Curia Generalizia dei Padri Dottrinari. The church contains a baroque fresco of the Flagellation attributed to Antonio Carracci; a 13th-century painted wooden crucifix attributed to Pietro Cavallini; a Madonna and child with saints by Sebastiano Conca; and a Head of the Redeemer in mosaic fragments of the 12th century. Near the sanctuary of the church is the contemporary shrine of Blessed César de Bus, the French founder of the "Priests of Christian Doctrine" and the patron saint of catechists.
