Andy's Diner (also known as Andy's Railroad) was a roadside diner, constructed from several decommissioned railcars, in Seattle, Washington, established in 1949 and closed in 2008. It was constructed on the former location of a more traditional diner that had been built in 1930.

Westland Distillery is a distillery in Seattle. Their Garryana single malt whiskey was placed third best in the world in a 2023 blind taste test conducted by Whisky Advocate magazine. Garryana is aged in barrels made from Pacific Northwest native Garry oak, Quercus garryana. The company has a farm for experimental craft malting barley varieties in the Skagit Valley, north of Seattle, as well as purchasing barley from Skagit Valley Malting there.

The Universal Life Church Monastery (ULCM) is a multi-religious interfaith ministry that has an online ordination program, which allows individuals to preside over weddings, baptisms, and funerals in the United States depending on state and county laws. George Freeman is president of the Seattle, Washington-based ministry. It claims to have ordained 20 million ministers.

Cannabis City is an American recreational marijuana retail store located in Seattle, Washington. The store, located in the SoDo neighborhood south of downtown, opened on July 8, 2014, and was the first of its kind in that city. The store is owned by James Lathrop, a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and a U.S. Desert Storm war veteran. In July, the store was asked to submit historical paraphernalia to Seattle's Museum of History and Industry for preservation.

Cascade Designs is an American company specializing in outdoor recreation products. It is located in Seattle, Washington and Reno, Nevada, and was founded in 1972 by two former Boeing engineers, who were avid backpackers. Their first product innovation was the self-inflating camping mattress, marketed as Therm-a-Rest. Seattle Public Schools is the largest public school district in the state of Washington. The school district serves the entire city of Seattle. As of 2018, 113 schools are operated by the district, which serve at least 47,000 students throughout the city.

The Starbucks Center (formerly the SODO Center) is the world headquarters of the coffeehouse chain Starbucks. It is located in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle, Washington; the area is part of the city's large industrial district. Starbucks Center is the largest multi-tenant building by floor space in Seattle, with over 1.8 million square feet (170,000 m2). It is both the largest and oldest building in the country to earn a national green certification.

Living Computers: Museum + Labs (LCM+L) is a computer and technology museum located in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. LCM+L showcases vintage computers which provide interactive sessions, either through time-sharing operating systems or single-user interfaces. This gives users a chance to actually use the computers online or in-person in the museum. An expansion adds direct touch experiences with contemporary technologies such as self-driving cars, the internet of things, big data, and robotics. This puts today's computer technology in the context of how it's being used to tackle real-world issues. LCM+L also hosts a wide range of educational programs and events in their state-of-the art classroom and lab spaces. According to an archived version of LCM's website, their goal is "to breathe life back into our machines so the public can experience what it was like to see them, hear them, and interact with them. We make our systems accessible by allowing people to come and interact with them, and by making them available over the Internet."The current site similarly shares that "Living Computers: Museum + Labs provides a one-of-a-kind, hands-on experience with computer technology from the 1960s to the present. LCM+L honors the history of computing with the world’s largest collection of fully restored—and usable—supercomputers, mainframes, minicomputers and microcomputers."As of August 2020, the museum is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Made in USA is a 2005 sculpture by American artist Michael Davis, installed at the SODO light rail station in Seattle, in the U.S. state of Washington. It consists of a 24-foot-high (7.3 m) by 14-foot-wide (4.3 m) steel archway as well as a plaza with seating areas. The archway is composed of oversized tools, including a try square, spirit level, and carpenter pencil. The seating area includes benches shaped into I-beams and a cog, with cast bronze replicas of workbench tools soldered onto the granite tops. Both elements honor the industrial legacy of Seattle's SoDo neighborhood by using "tools of the trade".The archway element of the piece was installed in August 2005 as the first piece of public art on the Central Link line.

Daniel Smith (sometimes advertised as "Daniel Smith Artists' Materials" or "Daniel Smith Art Supply") is an art supply manufacturer and retailer. Dan Smith, a noted printmaking artist, founded the operation in 1976, endeavoring to produce artist grade printmaking ink. Later, watercolors and oil paints were added to its products. Daniel Smith's paint manufacturing facility is located in Seattle, Washington, where it mills pigments and mixes the final paint product. One of the unique approaches to paint that the company focuses on is the use of pigments derived from semi-precious minerals and other unique geological deposits. The PrimaTek® collection of colors has paints derived from turquoise, amethyst, lapis lazuli, rhodonite, kyanite and serpentine.

SODO station is a light rail station located in Seattle, Washington. It is situated between the Beacon Hill and Stadium stations on Line 1, which runs from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport to Downtown Seattle and the University of Washington as part of the Link light rail system. The station consists of two at-grade side platforms at the intersection of the SODO Busway and South Lander Street in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle. SODO station was first proposed in the late 1980s, but was ignored in subsequent light rail proposals until the addition of the Beacon Hill Tunnel to the Central Link route in 1998 (now part of Line 1). It was built between 2005 and 2006 by Kiewit Pacific and opened to Link service on July 18, 2009. Trains serve the station twenty hours a day on most days; the headway between trains is six minutes during peak periods, with less frequent service at other times. SODO station is also served by several Sound Transit Express and King County Metro buses that stop on the SODO Busway adjacent to the platforms.

The Comeback Seattle was an LGBT-friendly bar and nightclub in Seattle's SoDo neighborhood, in the U.S. state of Washington. Described as a gay bar and queer sports bar, The Comeback hosted drag shows and RuPaul's Drag Race viewing parties. The short-lived bar opened in early 2022 and closed on April 30, 2023. It was co-owned by Floyd Lovelady, a former general manager of the gay bar and nightclub R Place, as well as John Fish.
