Snake Alley (Chinese: 華西街夜市; pinyin: Huáxījiē Yèshì), also known as Huaxi Street Night Market or Huaxi Street Tourist Night Market (Chinese: 華西街觀光夜市) is a market in Wanhua District, Taipei, Taiwan. The market is located near the Bangka Lungshan Temple as well as other night markets located on Guangzhou Street, Wuzhou Street and Xichang Street.The Huaxi Night Market is a two-block long night market in Wanhua District, the oldest district of Taipei, Taiwan. It contains stands serving local snacks, and restaurants that serve traditional Taiwanese dishes and many delicacies including snake blood and meat, turtle blood and meat and deer penis wine, which are not normally found anywhere else. Many stands used to sell various snake delicacies and drinks, hence its nickname "Snake Alley".Many Taiwanese have a negative view of Snake Alley, which was once a legal red-light district.

Longshan Temple Underground Shopping Mall (Chinese: 龍山寺地下街; pinyin: Lóngshānxì Dìxiàjiē) is an underground shopping center located in Wanhua District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is located directly below Bangka Park and is connected with Longshan Temple metro station. There are a total of 7 entrances to access the shopping mall from the ground floor. The mall has four levels. Level B1 is a famous fortune-telling street, where some stores also sell lucky charms and daily necessities; level B2 sells a variety of commodities, such as exquisite cultural goods and snacks, souvenirs, etc. Levels B3 and B4 are used as a public parking lot.

Bangka Lungshan Temple (also Lungshan Temple of Manka, Mengjia Longshan Temple) is a Chinese folk religious temple in Wanhua District (alternately known as Bangka/Mengjia), Taipei, Taiwan. The temple was built in Taipei in 1738 by settlers from Fujian during Qing rule in honor of Guanyin. It served as a place of worship and a gathering place for the Chinese settlers. In addition to its Buddhist elements, it includes halls and altars to Chinese deities such as Mazu and Guan Yu.

The Bangka Park (also Mangka Park, Mengjia Park and Mengxia Park) (traditional Chinese: 艋舺公園; simplified Chinese: 艋舺公园; pinyin: Měngjiǎ Gōngyuán) is a park in Wanhua District, Taipei, Taiwan.

Longshan Temple (Bangka Commercial Zone) (Chinese: 龍山寺 (艋舺商圈)), formerly transliterated as Lungshan Temple Station until 2003, is a metro station in Taipei, Taiwan served by Taipei Metro. The station is named for the nearby Lungshan Temple.

The Bopiliao Historic Block (Chinese: 剝皮寮; pinyin: Bōpílíao; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Pak-phê-liâu) is a historic street in Wanhua, Taipei, Taiwan. The block is made almost completely of one or two story brick buildings, many dating over 200 years ago and was one of the earliest commercial districts in northern Taiwan. The street houses museums, shops, food options, and art exhibitions.

The Qingshui Temple (Chinese: 艋舺清水巖; pinyin: Měngjiǎ Qīngshuǐ Yán; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Báng-kah-chheng-chúi-giâm; Chingshui Temple) also known as Tsushih Temple or the "Divine Progenitors Temple" is a temple in dedicated to the Deity known as Master Qingshui, a Northern Song dynasty Buddhist monk who is said to have saved a town from a drought and performed numerous miracles. The temple is located in the Wanhua District of Taipei City, Taiwan. The temple is often called "the most characteristic example of mid-Qing temple architecture."

Shinehouse Theater is a small theater company in Taiwan focused on contemporary literature and social issues. Founded in 2006 by director Chung Po-yuan, executive producer Zeke Lee, and administrator Nina Yeh, Shinehouse Theater has a long history of community engagement, drawing inspiration for its productions from the local stories of Wanhua. Originally located in Shilin, Taipei, the theater later relocated to Wanhua, New Taipei City, due to rent considerations. There, they develop and reinterpret various contemporary literary themes, while also creating works based on the local stories and issues of the local residents, such as the lives of sex workers and the homeless population around Longshan Temple. In 2019, Shinehouse Theater expanded its focus to contemporary dance, establishing the "Want to Dance Festival." By 2025, the festival had reached its 7th term.
