Clayton Public Schools

Still Run is a 13.0-mile-long (20.9 km) tributary of the Maurice River in southwestern New Jersey in the United States.

Clayton High School is a comprehensive community public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Clayton, in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as the lone secondary school of the Clayton Public Schools. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 454 students and 35.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.0:1. There were 159 students (35.0% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 38 (8.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Clayton is a borough in Gloucester County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 8,807, an increase of 628 (+7.7%) from the 2010 census count of 8,179, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,040 (+14.6%) from the 7,139 counted in the 2000 census.Jacob Fisler purchased much of the area that is now Clayton, acquiring 6,500 acres (2,600 ha) of land after the American Revolutionary War. A settlement named Fislertown developed and grew to 36 families by 1812. A glass factory was established in Clayton in the 1850s by one of Fisler's descendants, which contributed to Fislertown's growth.What is now Clayton was formed as Clayton Township on February 5, 1858, from portions of Franklin Township. Portions of the township were later taken on March 11, 1878, to form Glassboro Township. Clayton was formed as a borough by the New Jersey Legislature on May 9, 1887, from portions of Clayton Township. The remainder of Clayton Township was absorbed by the Clayton on April 14, 1908, and the township was dissolved. Clayton is part of the South Jersey region of the state.

Franklinville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Franklin Township in Gloucester County, in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population for ZIP Code Tabulation Area 08322 was 10,524.The Franklinville area of Franklin Township serves as the town center that mixes historic buildings with modern conveniences and stores. A mix of merchants exist in the town center along with the Franklinville Volunteer Fire Company, Franklin Township Community Center and The Franklinville Inn, Franklinville Lake and the historic Franklinville train station. Franklinville was formerly named "Little Ease."A five-way junction between New Jersey Route 47, County Route 538 and County Route 613 in the center of Franklinville provides access to Williamstown, Glassboro and Vineland.

The Delsea Regional School District is a regional public school district serving students in seventh through twelfth grades from Elk Township and Franklin Township, two constituent communities in Gloucester County, New Jersey, United States. Students from Newfield attend the district's schools as part of a sending/receiving relationship begun in September 2010 after Newfield began a process to end its prior relationship with the Buena Regional School District.As of the 2017–18 school year, the district, comprising two schools, had an enrollment of 1,655 students and 125.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.2:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "CD." District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.The New Jersey Department of Education considered a vote by the Franklin Township Board of Education in June 2010 requesting that the district withdraw from the Delsea Regional School District, which would require that the Delsea region be dissolved as about 80% of the regional district's students come from Franklin. With the withdrawal of Franklin Township, two options being considered were to either have Franklin and Elk Townships create a new regional district with Newfield students attending on a send-receive basis, or having Franklin Township establish its own PreK-12 district which would receive students from both Elk Township and Newfield.

Glassboro is a borough within Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, within the Philadelphia metropolitan area. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 23,149, its highest decennial count ever and an increase of 4,570 (+24.6%) from the 18,579 recorded at the 2010 census, which in turn had reflected a decline of 489 (−2.6%) from the 19,068 counted at the 2000 census. Much of the recent and projected growth in Glassboro have been attributed to the growth trajectory of Rowan University, founded in 1923 and formerly known as Glassboro State College. Glassboro and surrounding Gloucester County constitute part of South Jersey. What is now Glassboro was originally formed as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 11, 1878, from portions of Clayton Township. Portions of the township were taken to form Elk Township (April 17, 1891) and Pitman (May 24, 1905). Glassboro was incorporated as a borough on March 18, 1920, replacing Glassboro Township. The borough was named for its glass industry.

The Elk Township School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade from Elk Township, in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2021–22 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 329 students and 31.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.4:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "B", the second lowest of eight groupings. Students from Newfield attend the district as part of a sending/receiving relationship begun in September 2010 after Newfield ended its prior relationship with the Buena Regional School District. Schools in the district (with 2019–20 enrollment data from the National Center for Education Statistics) are Delsea Regional Middle School with 530 students in grades 7 and 8, and Delsea Regional High School with 1,062 students in grades 9–12.

Delsea Regional High School is a four-year comprehensive regional public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Elk Township (feeding into Delsea from Aura Elementary School, which serves grades PreK-6) and Franklin Township (from Caroline L. Reutter, which serves grades 5–6), in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as part of the Delsea Regional School District. Students from Newfield attend the district's schools as part of a sending/receiving relationship begun in September 2010 after Newfield began a process to end its prior relationship with the Buena Regional School District. The school district gets its name from its location just off Delsea Drive, which runs from Westville on the Delaware River to Wildwood on the Jersey shore, hence the name Del-Sea. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,074 students and 87.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.3:1. There were 173 students (16.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 36 (3.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Downer Methodist Episcopal Church is located in Monroe Township in Gloucester County, New Jersey. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 14, 2010.

Scotland Run Golf Club is a public golf course and country club situated in Williamstown, New Jersey. The 18-hole course was established in 1999 and was built on an old sand quarry, offering a unique blend of wooded, quarry and links-style landscaping. The course features five holes that come into contact with the quarry landscape, with the 16th hole being notable. Golfers must hit over the quarry and into the landing area, which is nearly 400 yards away from the black tee.Scotland Run was named one of the Top 50 Public Courses in the country by the readers of Golf World in their annual Readers' Choice Awards in both 2009 and 2010. Additionally, the course was awarded the prestigious title of #1 course in the Philadelphia Region by Business Week Magazine.
