Delsea Regional School District

Scotland Run is a 13.7-mile-long (22.0 km) tributary of the Maurice River in southwestern New Jersey in the United States.It flows in a generally southern direction through southern Gloucester County.

Clayton is a borough in Gloucester County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 8,807, an increase of 628 (+7.7%) from the 2010 census count of 8,179, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,040 (+14.6%) from the 7,139 counted in the 2000 census.Jacob Fisler purchased much of the area that is now Clayton, acquiring 6,500 acres (2,600 ha) of land after the American Revolutionary War. A settlement named Fislertown developed and grew to 36 families by 1812. A glass factory was established in Clayton in the 1850s by one of Fisler's descendants, which contributed to Fislertown's growth.What is now Clayton was formed as Clayton Township on February 5, 1858, from portions of Franklin Township. Portions of the township were later taken on March 11, 1878, to form Glassboro Township. Clayton was formed as a borough by the New Jersey Legislature on May 9, 1887, from portions of Clayton Township. The remainder of Clayton Township was absorbed by the Clayton on April 14, 1908, and the township was dissolved. Clayton is part of the South Jersey region of the state.

Clayton High School is a comprehensive community public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Clayton, in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as the lone secondary school of the Clayton Public Schools. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 454 students and 35.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.0:1. There were 159 students (35.0% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 38 (8.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Scotland Run Golf Club is a public golf course and country club situated in Williamstown, New Jersey. The 18-hole course was established in 1999 and was built on an old sand quarry, offering a unique blend of wooded, quarry and links-style landscaping. The course features five holes that come into contact with the quarry landscape, with the 16th hole being notable. Golfers must hit over the quarry and into the landing area, which is nearly 400 yards away from the black tee.Scotland Run was named one of the Top 50 Public Courses in the country by the readers of Golf World in their annual Readers' Choice Awards in both 2009 and 2010. Additionally, the course was awarded the prestigious title of #1 course in the Philadelphia Region by Business Week Magazine.

Williamstown High School is a four-year comprehensive community public high school located in the Williamstown section of Monroe Township in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as the lone secondary school of the Monroe Township Public Schools. The school was established in 1958.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,810 students and 131.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.8:1. There were 409 students (22.6% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 107 (5.9% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Delsea Regional High School is a four-year comprehensive regional public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Elk Township (feeding into Delsea from Aura Elementary School, which serves grades PreK-6) and Franklin Township (from Caroline L. Reutter, which serves grades 5–6), in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as part of the Delsea Regional School District. Students from Newfield attend the district's schools as part of a sending/receiving relationship begun in September 2010 after Newfield began a process to end its prior relationship with the Buena Regional School District. The school district gets its name from its location just off Delsea Drive, which runs from Westville on the Delaware River to Wildwood on the Jersey shore, hence the name Del-Sea. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,074 students and 87.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.3:1. There were 173 students (16.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 36 (3.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

The Franklin Township Public Schools are a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade from Franklin Township, in Gloucester County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising three schools, had an enrollment of 1,408 students and 114.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.4:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "CD", the sixth-highest of eight groupings. Students from Newfield attend the district as part of a sending/receiving relationship begun in September 2010 after Newfield ended its prior relationship with the Buena Regional School District. As of the 2018–19 school year, the regional high school district, comprising two schools, had an enrollment of 1,661 students and 123.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.4:1. Schools in the district (with 2018–19 enrollment data from the National Center for Education Statistics) are Delsea Regional Middle School with 563 students in grades 7 and 8, and Delsea Regional High School with 1,047 students in grades 9 - 12.The New Jersey Department of Education has considered a vote by the Franklin Township Board of Education in June 2010 requesting that the district withdraw from the Delsea Regional School District, which would require that the Delsea region be dissolved as about 80% of the regional district's students come from Franklin. With the withdrawal of Franklin Township, two options being considered were to either have Franklin and Elk Townships create a new regional district with Newfield students attending on a send-receive basis, or having Franklin Township establish its own PreK-12 district which would receive students from both Elk Township and Newfield.
