Chengnan Subdistrict, Beijing

Chengbei Subdistrict (Chinese: 城北街道; pinyin: Chéngběi Jiēdào) is a subdistrict in the center of Changping District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Shisanling Town in its north, Nanshao Town in its east, Chengnan Subdistrict and Machikou Town in its south, and Chengnan Subdistrict in its west. It was home to 228,561 residents as of 2020.The subdistrict's name literally translates to "City North", which is referring to its location north of the old city gate.

In a 2016 ranking of Chinese high schools that send students to study in top American universities, Beijing Huijia Private School ranked number 11 in mainland China in terms of the number of students entering top American universities. It opened in 1993. By 2010 it received permission to accept non-Mainland Chinese students. As of that year 20% of its students were foreigners.In 2015 the tuition for the year was 220,000 renminbi ($35,442 U.S. dollars). China Daily ranked Huijia Private School as the 5th most expensive private school in Beijing.

Nanshao Town (simplified Chinese: 南邵镇; traditional Chinese: 南邵鎮; pinyin: Nánshào Zhèn) is a town located in the eastern side of Changping District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Shisanling Town to its north, Cuicun Town to its east, Baishan and Shahe Towns to its south, Machikou Town to its southwest, Chengnan and Chengbei Subdistricts to its west. In 2020, the town had a total population of 65,403.

Nanshao station (Chinese: 南邵站; pinyin: Nánshào zhàn) is a station on the Changping Line of the Beijing Subway.The station opened on December 30, 2010. The station was the terminus of the line until the extension to Changping Xishankou on December 26, 2015.

Shahe Area (simplified Chinese: 沙河地区; traditional Chinese: 沙河地區; pinyin: Shāhé Dìqū) is one of the four areas of Changping District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Nanshao Town to the north, Baishan and Beiqijia Towns to the east, Shigezhuang Subdistrict and Dongxiaokou Town to the south, Xibeiwang and Shangzhuang Towns to the southwest, and Machikou Town to the west. In the year 2020, its population was 294,408.The area was named after three rivers: Nansha, Beisha, and Dongsha. They flow together to form Wenyu River in the east of the area.

Baishan Town (simplified Chinese: 百善镇; traditional Chinese: 百善鎮; pinyin: Bǎishàn Zhèn) is a town located in the eastern part of Changping District, Beijing, China. Bounded by part of Taihang Mountain Range in its north, Baishan is located south of Nanshao and Cuicun Towns, west of Xiaotangshan Town, as well as north and east of Shahe Town. Its population was 36,546 as of 2020.

Shahe railway station (Chinese: 沙河站; pinyin: Shāhé Zhàn) is a railway station in Beijing. Passenger services ceased on 15 September 2012. It is a station on the Beijing–Zhangjiakou intercity railway, currently no trains stop at this station.

Gonghuacheng station (simplified Chinese: 巩华城站; traditional Chinese: 鞏華城站; pinyin: Gǒnghuáchéng zhàn) is a station on the Changping Line of the Beijing Subway, located in Changping District to the west of the Shahe Reservoir (沙河水库).
