Monte Briasco

Civiasco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) northeast of Turin and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Vercelli. Civiasco borders the following municipalities: Arola, Cesara, Madonna del Sasso, and Varallo Sesia.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 284 and an area of 6.5 km2 (2.5 sq mi).The municipality of Arola contains the frazione (subdivision) Pianezza. Arola borders the following municipalities: Cesara, Civiasco, Madonna del Sasso.

Cellio con Breia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, established on 1 January 2018 by the merger of the former comuni of Breia and Cellio, in the lower Valsesia.

Madonna del Sasso is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) northeast of Turin and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Verbania, just to the west of Lake Orta. The municipal seat is in the frazione of Boleto. It borders the following municipalities: Arola, Cellio con Breia, Cesara, Civiasco, Pella, Pogno, San Maurizio d'Opaglio, Valduggia, Varallo Sesia.

The Madonna del Sasso sanctuary is on a spur over the Lake Orta at 638 m height, in the Madonna del Sasso municipality. From the square in front of the church, called "the Cusio's balcony", there is a great view on the lake, the Mottarone, the Alps and the Novara area. The sanctuary is constituted by the church, the bell tower, and the parish house.

Varallo Sesia railway station (Italian: Stazione di Varallo Sesia) is the train station serving the comune of Varallo Sesia, in the Piedmont region, northwestern Italy. It is the junction terminus of the Novara–Varallo. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the passenger building is managed by comune. The station is served only by historic trains, in the service of tourism, in planned dates. The service ordinary passengers has been suspended from 15 September 2014, by decision of the Piedmont Region. Train services are operated by Fondazione FS and Trenitalia. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company.

Varallo Sesia (Piedmontese: Varal), pronunciation (Vhuh-rahl-loh) commonly known as Varallo, is a comune and town in the province of Vercelli in the Piedmont region of Italy. It is situated in Valsesia, at 450 metres (1,480 ft) above sea level and some 66 kilometres (41 mi) north-northeast of Vercelli and 55 kilometres (34 mi) northwest of Novara. Once called Varade, it is divided in two boroughs (Varallo Vecchia and Varallo Nuova) by the Mastallone stream. In 1971, Varallo was awarded the Golden Medal for Military Valor for the deeds of its population against the German occupation in the late stages of World War II.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 617 and an area of 11.3 square kilometres (4.4 sq mi).The municipality of Cesara contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Colma, Grassona, and Egro. Cesara borders the following municipalities: Arola, Civiasco, Madonna del Sasso, Nonio, Pella, Varallo Sesia.
