Museum Erotica was a sex museum in Copenhagen, Denmark, located just off of Strøget, Copenhagen's main shopping street. The museum was founded by director/photographer Ole Ege and business manager Kim Clausen. It originally opened in 1992 at Vesterbrogade 31 in Copenhagen. On May 14, 1994, it reopened at Købmagergade 24, where it remained until it closed in March 2009, following the sudden, unexpected death of Kim Clausen in 2008, and then the financial recession. The museum claimed to have had one million visitors [1]. The museum often described itself as having "illustrated some of the sex life of Homo sapiens" [2], which reflects its very historic and holistic approach to its exhibitions. The walk through the museum took a visitor through many exhibits in roughly chronological order. A good deal of written commentary in English and Danish explained and augmented many of the items on display.There were extensive exhibitions on the beginning of erotic photography, a room with Playboy-centerfolds and other American pinups, and a special exhibition on Marilyn Monroe, among other things. One of the final displays in Museum Erotica was a small room with a sofa opposite a large wall of small television screens each showing a different porno video. The selections reflected the eclectic nature of the museum's displays.

Købmagergade 5 is a 17th-century property situated on the shopping street Købmagergade, close to Amagertorv and Strøget, in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Constructed as part of the rebuilding of the city following the Copenhagen Fire of 1728 it was later heightened with one storey. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1971. Petitgas Eftf., for many years Denmark's oldest hats store, occupied the ground floor from 1857 until 2020.

A.C. Perch's Thehandel is a tea shop opened in 1835 by Niels Brock Perch at Kronprinsensgade 5 in Copenhagen, Denmark. It opened an English-style tearoom on the first floor in 2005 The company has also opened tea houses in Aarhus and Oslo and operates a web shop. The company is a Purveyor to the Court of Denmark.

Kronprinsensgade (lit. "The Crown Prince's Street") is a street in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It links the major shopping street Købmagergade in the west with Pilestræde in the east. The street is known for A.C. Perch's Rea Store.

Kronprinsensgade 7 is a former Freemasons' hall located in Kronpruinsensgade 7 in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The three-storey, Neoclassical building is from 1807. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1816.

The Matthias Hansen House (Danish: Matthias Hansens Gård), formerly also known as the Schoustrup House (Danish: Schoustrups Gård) is a Renaissance-style townhouse on Amagertorv (No. 6) in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Built in 1616, it is one of few buildings of its kind which has survived the Copenhagen Fires of 1728 and 1795. The building is now home to a flagship store for the Royal Copenhagen porcelain factory.

Købmagergade 38 is a building on Købmagergade in Copenhagen, Denmark. C. G. Iversen's Bookshop (Danish: C. G. Iversen's Boghandel) was located in the building from 1846 to 1857. It was later continued as Tillge's Bookshop (Danish: Tillge's Boghandel), first by E. S.Tillge and then by his son Holger Tillge. E. S. Tillge's brother, Vilhelm Tillge, operated a photographic studio in the building from 1873 to 1893.

Amagertorv 1 is a Neoclassical property situated at the corner of Amagertorv and Højbro Plads, opposite Højbrohus, in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. Constructed in 1797 as part of the rebuilding of the city following the Copenhagen Fire of 1795, it owes its current appearance to a renovation undertaken by Christian Tybjerg in 1854. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1989. Café Europa, a café started by fashion designer Jørgen Nørgaard in 1989, is located in the building. Notable former residents include photographer Emil Stæhr, landowner and district governor Nicolai Emanuel de Thygeson and composer and music publisher Andreas Peter Berggreen.

The Stork Fountain is located on Amagertorv in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It was a present to Crown Prince Frederik (later Frederik VIII) and Crown Princess Louise in connection with their silver wedding anniversary in 1894. It depicts three storks about to set off. Since 1950, it has been a tradition that newly graduated midwives dance around the fountain.

Pilestræde 37/Kronprinsensgade 13 is an 18th-century building situated at the acute-angled corner of Pilestræde and Kronprinsensgade in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. It was constructed by the master mason and developer Johan Peter Boye Junge, who also constructed the buildings at Pilestræde 39–47 in conjunction with his creation of the street Kronprinsensgade, and who was himself a resident of the building from its completion in 1786. Other notable former residents include actors Michael and Johanne Rosing, printer Andreas Flinch, poet Christian Winther and Bing & Grøndahl co-founder Meyer Herman Bing.
