The Odesa Quarantine (Ukrainian: Одеський карантин, romanized: Odeskyi karantyn) is a lazaretto located on Cape Langeron in the city of Odesa, Ukraine. Located adjacent to Shevchenko Park, the structure was historically used for preventing the spread of plague before being largely demolished in the late 19th century.

The Chernomorets Stadium (Ukrainian: Стадіон «Чорноморець», Stadium "Chornomorets'") is a football stadium built in 2011 in Odesa, Ukraine. The stadium has a capacity of 34,164 and is the home of FC Chornomorets Odesa. The inaugural match, between FC Chornomorets Odesa and FC Karpaty Lviv, was played on 19 November 2011, and ended with a 2–2 draw. The first goal was scored by Vitaliy Balashov in the 46th minute from a penalty. The stadium was constructed on the site of the old Soviet multi-use Central Stadium of the Black Sea Shipping Company (ChMP), which was demolished in 2009. The venue was considered to be one of the stadiums of UEFA Euro 2012 but failed to be nominated as such.There is an ongoing renovation of the stadium. The completion date is still unknown.

The Port of Odesa or Odesa Sea Port (Ukrainian: Одеський морський порт, romanized: Odeskyi morskyi port), located near Odesa, is the largest Ukrainian seaport and one of the largest ports in the Black Sea basin, with a total annual traffic capacity of 40 million tonnes (15 million tonnes dry bulk and 25 million tonnes liquid bulk). The port has an immediate access to railways allowing quick transfer of cargo from sea routes to ground transportation. Along with its younger satellite ports of Chornomorsk (1958) and Yuzhne (1973), the Port of Odesa is a major freight and passenger transportation hub of Ukraine.

The Monument to the Unknown Sailor (Ukrainian: Пам'ятник невідомому матросу) is a city memorial located at Shevchenko Park in the Southern Ukrainian city of Odesa. It is part of the park's Alley of Glory, with the graves of fallen sailors on each side. An eternal flame is burning at foot of the monument.

The Potemkin Stairs, Potemkin Steps (Ukrainian: Потьо́мкінські схо́ди, romanized: Potiomkinski skhody), or, officially, Primorsky Stairs are a giant stairway in Odesa, Ukraine. They are considered a formal entrance into the city from the direction of the sea and are the best known symbol of Odesa.The stairs were originally known as the Boulevard steps, the Giant Staircase, or the Richelieu steps. The top step is 12.5 meters (41 feet) wide, and the lowest step is 21.7 meters (70.8 feet) wide. The staircase extends for 142 meters, but it gives the illusion of greater length.

Taras Shevchenko Park of Culture and Recreation is in the centre of Odesa. It is located in the central part of the city. It carries the name of Taras Shevchenko since 1954.

Alexander II Column, also known as Alexander's column or Monument to Alexander II of Russia, is a triumphal column located in Shevchenko Park, Odesa and is commemorated to the visit of Russian Emperor Alexander II the city of Odesa in 1875. The monument was built in May 1891 on the same place where the city's municipality was meeting the emperor Alexander II in 1875. For that purpose there was built the Tsar's pavilion where the monarch gave permission on establishing here a park named after him and planted the first tree. The monument was built on remnants of the Saint Andrew bastion (fortification motte) of Odesa Fortress that was built in 1793-1794 for border control and was declared inefficient for defence in 1811 as the borders of Russia moved further southwest.

Odesa City Hall (Ukrainian: Будинок Одеської міської ради) is the city hall of Odesa, Ukraine, located at the junction of Prymorskyi Boulevard, Chaikovskoho Lane and Pushkinska Street. It occupies a Neoclassical building, built to a design by Francesco Boffo and Gregorio Toricelli in 1828-34. Rebuilt in 1871-1873 by Franz Morandi.

Odesa City Council (Ukrainian: Одеська міська рада) is the municipal council governing the Ukrainian city of Odesa. The council has 64 representatives and is elected every 5 years.

The Odesa Funicular (Ukrainian: Одеський фунікулер, romanized: Odeskyi funikuler) serves the Ukrainian city of Odesa. Running alongside the Potemkin Stairs, it connects the Primorsky Boulevard with the Port of Odesa.Despite what its name suggests, in its modern state the Odesa Funicular is not technically a funicular but rather a double inclined lift. The system was built by the "Skylift" from Kyiv.

The Odesa Archaeological Museum (Ukrainian: Одеський археологічний музей) is one of the oldest archaeological museums in Ukraine. It was founded in 1825; the current museum building was completed in 1883 according to a design by Polish architect Feliks Gąsiorowski.The museum's address is 4 Lanzheronivska Street, 65026, Odesa, Ukraine.

The Odessa operation (1919) or the Odessa landing was a successful amphibious military operation by the White Armed Forces of South Russia against the troops of the Red Army and the Odessa garrison on 20–24 August 1919. The success of the operation would have been impossible without a coordinated anti-Bolshevik insurrection in the city itself. The operation was carried out in the development of the "Moscow directive" of the AFSR (paragraph 6).
