Dongmen, Shenzhen

Laojie station (Chinese: 老街站; pinyin: Lǎojiē zhàn; Jyutping: Lou5 Gaai1 Zaam6; lit. 'Old Street station'), is a station on the Shenzhen Metro. It provides cross-platform interchange between Line 1 and Line 3. The station is the busiest on the network with 61,600 passenger entries and exits a day. The Line 1 platforms opened on 28 December 2004 and the Line 3 platforms opened on 28 June 2011. It is located underneath the junction of Shennan Fudao (simplified Chinese: 深南辅道; traditional Chinese: 深南輔道), Jiefang Road (解放路) and Jianshe Road (建设路; 建設路) in the Luohu District of Shenzhen, China. The station is the closest to the Dongmen Business Area (东门商业区; 東門商業區), one of the oldest areas in Shenzhen established in the Ming dynasty.

Panglin Plaza (simplified Chinese: 彭年广场; traditional Chinese: 彭年廣場; pinyin: Péngnián Guǎngchǎng) is a 57-floor 240 metre (787 foot) tall skyscraper completed in 1999 located in Shenzhen, China. It served as The Hilton until April 2006, since then it is The PangLin Hotel.

The Guomao Building (Chinese: 国贸大厦, otherwise known as International Foreign Trade Centre) is an office tower and one of the earliest skyscrapers in Shenzhen, China. Its fast construction process was termed the "Shenzhen speed". Located at the junction of Jiabin Road and Renmin South Road, Luohu District, the building stands 160 metres tall and consists of 50 floors. Construction started on 1 November 1982 and was completed 37 months later on December 29, 1985. This earned the city's rapid development the nickname "Shenzhen Speed". It was the tallest building in China upon completion. The building stands on a slot of 20,000 square metres and a built-up floor area of 100,000 square metres. It consists mainly of office space (floors 5-43, except 24) but features a revolving restaurant at the 48th and 49th floor and a helipad atop the building. The first five floors are retail spaces.

Hongling South station (Chinese: 红岭南站; pinyin: Hónglǐng Nán Zhàn) is a Metro station of Shenzhen Metro Line 9. It opened on 28 October 2016. This station is located under the southeast of the intersection of Hongling South Road and Shennan East Road. The station is an indirect interchange with Line 1 and Line 2 at Grand Theater Station.

People's Park (Chinese: 人民公园; pinyin: Rénmín Gōngyuán) is an urban public park in Luohu District of central Shenzhen in Guangdong province, China. Established in 1983, it is one of the first parks in Shenzhen.Located on North Renmin Road, the park covers an area of 12.95 hectares (32.0 acres), including 2.1 hectares (5.2 acres) of lake. The hill in the park offers a panoramic view of the park and the city.People's Park is best known for its rose garden on the central island. It is one of the largest rose gardens in China, with more than 50,000 flowers of over 300 cultivars. It is a popular tourist destination during the flowering season from early December to late February. The park hosts an annual rose exhibition. In 2014, the 16th exhibition was held in early February during the Chinese New Year holiday.

Ludancun station (Chinese: 鹿丹村站; pinyin: Lùdān Cūn Zhàn) is a Metro station of Shenzhen Metro Line 9. It opened on 28 October 2016. This station is located under the green belt on the west of the intersection of Binhe Boulevard and Bao'an South Road.

Shenzhen Middle School (Chinese: 深圳中学), commonly referred as SMS or SZMS, is a high school located in Luohu District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Founded in 1947, it was made the only provincial key high school (magnet school) in Shenzhen in 1983. In November 1993, it became one of the first Class-One Schools of Guangdong Province. In 1998, Shenzhen Middle School merged with Honghu Middle School, and the latter's campus is now Shenzhen Middle School's junior school. In total, its junior and senior campuses cover an area of 107,602 square metres (1,158,220 sq ft). The student-teacher ratio is about 10:1. Zhu Huawei (朱华伟, Zhū Huáwěi) is the current principal. Shenzhen Middle School has been continuously ranked as the best school in Shenzhen and among the top schools in Guangdong Province. Over the last two years, Shenzhen Middle School has been ranked #1 in the percentage and number of high-scoring students in Guangdong Province, with the largest number of graduates admitted by top Chinese universities every year. In a 2016 ranking of Chinese high schools that send students to study in US universities, Shenzhen Middle School ranked number 8 in mainland China in terms of the number of students entering top American universities.Shenzhen Middle School consists of primary, junior and senior schools, located on separate campuses. The senior campus is divided into East Campus, where 10th and 11th graders are located, and West Campus, where 12th graders under intensive preparations for National Higher Education Entrance Examination are located. In the three campuses, only the senior campus offers student dorms, which allows Shenzhen Middle School students to choose whether they want to be commuters or residents on campus. The residential facilities available include two residential halls, two dining halls, and two grocery stores. Both junior and senior campuses have a soccer field and a track field. There are five basketball courts, including one indoor, badminton courts and table tennis tables, a taekwondo room and a dancing room.

Shaibu station (Chinese: 晒布站; pinyin: Shàibù Zhàn), is a station on Line 3 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 June 2011. It is located at the intersection of Shaibu and Middle Dongmen Roads. This station is located close to Dongmen, which can be accessed via this station or Laojie Station. Shenzhen Middle School is also located near to this station.

Xitou station (Chinese: 溪头站; pinyin: Xītóu Zhàn), is a station on Line 6 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 18 August 2020.

Gankeng station (Chinese: 甘坑站; pinyin: Gānkēng Zhàn), is a station on Line 10 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on August 18, 2020.

Shanglilang station (Chinese: 上李朗站; pinyin: Shànglǐlǎng Zhàn), is a station on Line 10 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on August 18, 2020.

Changzhen station (Chinese: 长圳站; pinyin: Chángzhèn Zhàn), is a station on Line 6 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 18 August 2020.
