It has three platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.The station is served by the Rhein-Wupper-Bahn (RB 48) between Wuppertal-Oberbarmen and Cologne twice an hour during the day, with one train an hour to/from Bonn-Mehlem.It is also served by eight bus routes operated by Kraftverkehr Wupper-Sieg: 209 (at 20 minute intervals), 210 (20), 211 (20), 212 (20), 217 (once a day), 222 (20), 226 (4 times a day) and 227 (20).

Ruder Tennis Hockey Club Bayer Leverkusen (RTHC Bayer Leverkusen e.V.) is a German rowing, field hockey and tennis club, one of the projects supported by Bayer AG and with 2500 members, it is additionally one of the largest sports clubs in Leverkusen. To take care of the number of athletes, the club has 18 full-time employees and 20 coaches and trainers. The sports facilities of RTHC Bayer Leverkusen are at three locations. The quarters of the rowing department is located on the Rhine in Köln-Stammheim, at Stammheim Castle Park on Fühlinger lake. The central sports and administrative center of the RTHC is on the Kurtekotten dar. Around the clubhouse are 26 outdoor tennis courts, a tennis wall, two tennis indoor halls with a total of seven courts and a multipurpose hall with a gym. For the sport of hockey, there are two artificial and natural turf fields and a hall. RTHC was created in 1951 by the merger of three formerly independent organizations: the rowing club founded in 1910, the tennis clubs of 1913 and the hockey club in 1919. As of April 2012, the outstanding successes of its members include two Olympic gold medals (Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996), seven Olympic silver medals, one bronze and seven world championship titles. The most successful rower is Stephan Volkert. The multiple Paralympic swimming champion, Dr. Britta Siegers rose to success with wheelchair tennis and occupied as a personal best in the world ranking position eight in singles and position seven in doubles.

Opladen station is in the suburb of Opladen of the city of Leverkusen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is on the Gruiten–Köln-Deutz railway, which was opened on 25 September 1867 from Ohligs by the Bergisch-Märkische Railway Company (BME). It was extended to Mülheim BME station on 8 April 1868. The station was also opened on 25 August 1867. The original station building was demolished in 1965 and replaced by a building built in 1968. This building has been demolished in 2016. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.The station is served hourly by Regional-Express line RE 7 Rhein-Münsterland-Express between Krefeld and Münster via Cologne and Hamm. It is also served every 30 minutes between 5am to 8pm by Regionalbahn RB 48 Rhein-Wupper-Bahn, stopping at all stations between Wuppertal-Oberbarmen and Cologne, continuing every hour to Bonn-Mehlem.It is served by seven bus routes, operated by Kraftverkehr Wupper-Sieg: 201 (at 20 minute intervals), 202 (20), 203 (60), 222 (20), 223 (60), 231 (20) and 239 (20). It is also served by two routes operated by Wiedenhoff: 250 (60) and 255 (20) and by two routes operated by Hüttebräucker: 251 (5 trips) and 253 (at 30 minute intervals).

Leverkusen Chempark, till 2013 known as Bayerwerk is a railway station on the Cologne–Duisburg railway, situated on the border of Leverkusen and Cologne in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is named after the nearby Bayer chemical production plants. It is served by the S6 line of the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn at 20-minute intervals.It is also served by the following bus routes: 151 and 152 (operated by Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe), 201 (operated by Kraftverkehr Wupper-Sieg) and 255 (operated by Kraftverkehr Gebr. Wiedenhoff), all at 20-minute intervals.
