Coquille River Light (formerly known as Bandon Light) is a lighthouse located near Bandon, Oregon, United States. It is currently maintained by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department as a part of Bullards Beach State Park.

Bandon High School is the only public high school in Bandon, Oregon, United States.

The Port of Bandon is the port authority for Bandon Harbor in the city of Bandon, Oregon, United States. The port has full marina facilities for boat launching and sport fishing. It also serves as a waypoint stopover for commercial fishing and recreation vessels, and has a scenic boardwalk with a nature pathway and observation areas. The United States Coast Guard operates Search and Rescue Detachment Coquille River in Bandon Harbor in the summer and on halibut season weekend openers in the spring, and is equipped with a 47-foot motor life boat and crew.

Bandon () is a city in Coos County, Oregon, United States, on the south side of the mouth of the Coquille River. It was named by George Bennet, an Irish peer, who settled nearby in 1873 and named the town after Bandon in Ireland, his hometown. The population was 3,066 at the 2010 census and by the 2020 census 3,321.

Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint is a state park in Bandon, Oregon, United States, administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. The rocks and tidal flats adjacent to the park form part of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge. More than 300 species of birds frequent the area.The viewpoint's name is derived from the off-shore rock island which has the likeness of a human face and is part of a Native American legend.The state acquired land over time for the 15-acre (6 ha) park, originally called Bandon Ocean Wayside. The initial land was a gift in 1934; the state bought additional acreage in 1961.Amenities include picnic tables, restrooms, a viewing scope, and a stairway and trail to the beach. Slightly north of Face Rock is Coquille Point, with its own parking area, benches, and hiking trail within the only mainland fraction of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge.

Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is a U.S. National Wildlife Refuge on Oregon's coast. It is one of six National Wildlife Refuges comprising the Oregon Coast National Wildlife Refuge Complex and is renowned among bird watchers for being able to view rare shorebirds including ruff, Hudsonian godwit, and Mongolian plover. The refuge was last expanded in 1999, it now has 889 acres (3.60 km2) in two units: Bandon Marsh and Ni-les'tun.

Bullards Beach State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Oregon, administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. The park was acquired between 1962 and 1985 by purchase from various owners, including the U. S. Bureau of Land Management. The Coquille River Lighthouse, built by the U. S. Coast Guard in 1896 and operated until 1939, sits at the confluence of the river and ocean. The Bullard family were early settlers in the Bandon area. Robert Bullard established a store and post office at the mouth of the Coquille River and operated a ferry, which crossed the river near the present bridge on U.S. 101.

The Bullards Bridge (or simply Bullards Bridge) is a vertical-lift bridge that spans the Coquille River near where the river empties into the Pacific Ocean, just north of Bandon, Oregon, United States. One of only two vertical-lift bridges on the Oregon Coast Highway (U.S. Route 101), it was completed in 1954. The lift span is flanked by two camelback truss spans. It is located immediately east of Bullards Beach State Park. The bridge was built to replace Bullards Ferry, a ferry service whose slip was located about 80 feet (24 m) upstream from the bridge that replaced it. The name originates with the Bullard family, who were among the early settlers in the area. The Oregon Highway Commission awarded a contract for construction of the bridge and a 0.49-mile (0.79 km) new section of highway in October 1952. The completed bridge was dedicated on September 20, 1954.The overhead clearance for vehicles on the bridge deck originally was between 14 feet 10 inches (4.52 m) and 15 feet 2 inches (4.62 m), but after multiple instances of tall trucks striking the bridge, work was undertaken in 2006–07 to move certain cross pieces in order to increase the vertical clearance on the roadway by about 2 feet.Average daily traffic on the bridge was about 6,000 vehicles in 2004, but had grown to about 8,300 by 2007.In late 2009, the Oregon Department of Transportation was planning a $3.4 million rehabilitation of the Bullards Bridge for 2010–11. The bridge's draw span is very rarely opened now; as of 2009, it had not been raised for marine traffic in seven years, being operated only for annual test openings for maintenance.

Bandon State Airport (IATA: BDY, FAA LID: S05), is a public airport located two miles (3.2 km) southeast of the city of Bandon in Coos County, Oregon, USA. It has one asphalt runway, 16/34 that is 3,601 feet (1,098 m) long by 60 feet (18 m) wide and medium intensity runway edge lights. The airport has a fixed based operator, Bandon Aviation, LLC, that sells aviation gasoline and can provide major airframe and engine repairs.The airport began operations in 1958, and had an average of 136 airport operations per week in the 12 months ending August 25, 2021.

Bradley Lake is a natural lake on the Oregon Coast in Coos County, Oregon, United States, about 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Bandon. Its surface area is 23 acres (9.3 ha).

Prosper is an unincorporated community in Coos County, Oregon, United States. It is about 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Bandon next to the Coquille River. There is no longer a town at the site.The first cannery on the Coquille River was started in about 1882 by D. H. Getchell in what came to be known as Prosper. Prosper was founded in the summer of 1892 by Adam Pershbaker, who built a sawmill and a shipyard there. The Emil Heuckendorff shipyard was established soon after. Prosper had a post office from 1893 until 1928; Pershbaker was the first postmaster. The name was likely chosen in the hope the locality would be prosperous. In 1915, Prosper's population was 500, and it had two salmon canneries, and two shingle and saw mills. Passenger boats traveled three times a day to Bandon and Coquille.

Bandon State Natural Area is a state park in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. The 879-acre (356 ha) park lies west of U.S. Route 101, off Beach Loop Drive, about 5 miles (8 km) south of Bandon. The Oregon Coast Trail passes through the park.The park is open year-round; annual day-use visitation is about 27,000. Amenities include beach access, hiking trails, birdwatching spots, fishing access, restrooms, parking, and picnic tables. The average elevation is about 26 feet (8 m) above sea level.Three separate entrances lead to separate parking areas within the park. The two to the south offer beach access but no other amenities. The third, Devil's Kitchen, has picnic tables, seating benches, paths to the beach, and restrooms.
