Heung Fan Liu New Village

Heung Fan Liu (Chinese: 香粉寮; lit. 'fragrant powder sheds') is an area in Tai Wai, Sha Tin District, Hong Kong.

Mei Lam Estate (Chinese: 美林邨) is a public housing estate in Tai Wai, Sha Tin District, New Territories, Hong Kong, located on both sides of Tai Wai Nullah (sometimes referred to as the upper stream of Shing Mun River) and near Mei Chung Court, May Shing Court and the Shing Mun Tunnels.

Tai Wai Nullah (Chinese: 大圍渠), sometimes referred to as the upper stream of Shing Mun River, is one of the nullahs of Shing Mun River in Tai Wai of Hong Kong. The channelised nullah has a width of about 39 m. As water flow is very low most of the time, the concrete nullah bed is exposed.

Christian Alliance Cheng Wing Gee College (abbreviated as CACWGC or CWGC) was established in 1984, the third to be affiliated with the Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance. It is a full-time aided co-educational secondary grammar school. It is located next to Tai Wai station. Starting from 2016, subjects provided during fourth year includes Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, Economics, information and technologies, BAFS, Chinese history, M2 and Design and technology (DAT)

Shatin Tsung Tsin Secondary School (Chinese: 沙田崇真中學) is a grammar school in Tai Wai, Sha Tin District, Hong Kong. Founded in 1985 by the Basel Mission (Sham Shui Po), the school's goal is to provide a good study environment for students in Sha Tin and realise Christian education ideals. The school aims to empower every Shatin Tsung-Tsiner to be a self-disciplined, thoughtful, trustworthy and self-motivated student who is willing to serve, and to help students enhance communication skills, problem solving skills and self-learning skills.

The Shing Mun Tunnels are a system of tunnels and viaducts in the New Territories, Hong Kong connecting the new towns of Tsuen Wan to the west and Sha Tin to the east. They are a part of Route 9 and the Tsuen Wan entrance is the reset point (As Route 9 is apparently a loop) of Route 9.Construction started on 11 February 1987 and the tunnels opened on 20 April 1990. They are made up of three sections, each with twin two-lane tunnels (one each way). The westerly pair passes through Smuggler's Ridge near Shing Mun Reservoir, where it gets its name from; the easterly pair passes through Needle Hill and is linked to the westerly pair by two viaducts over Lower Shing Mun Reservoir. The toll plaza and bus interchange are located outside the Tsuen Wan end of the tunnel. The tunnels lead to Cheung Pei Shan Road and connect Wo Yi Hop Interchange in Tsuen Wan, and Shing Mun Tunnel Road in the east which links Tai Wai Road and ends at Tai Po Road. The Shing Mun Tunnels are currently managed by Greater Lucky (H.K.) Company Limited.

Sha Tin Heights (Chinese: 沙田嶺) is a 160 metres (525 ft) tall hill located in Tai Wai, Sha Tin District, in Hong Kong's New Territories.

Lower Shing Mun Reservoir is a reservoir outside Shing Mun Country Park and the downstream of the dam of the Shing Mun Reservoir in the Sha Tin District of Hong Kong. Two vehicular bridges span over the valley between the Shing Mun Reservoir and the Lower Shing Mun Reservoir. They are viaducts connecting the tunnels on their respective ends which together form the Shing Mun Tunnel road scheme.Lower Shing Mun Reservoir was commissioned in 1965 and was a part of the "Plover Cove Reservoir Scheme". Shing Mun Reservoir and Lower Shing Mun Reservoir have a total storage capacity of 17.58 million cubic metres.Construction of a water tunnel connecting the Kowloon Byewash Reservoir to the Lower Shing Mun Reservoir started in 2019. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2022. The Inter-reservoirs Transfer Scheme (IRTS) consists mainly of a water tunnel, 2.8 km in length and 3 m in diameter, connecting the two reservoirs. The purpose of the tunnel is to reduce the quantity of the overflow from the Kowloon Group of Reservoirs into the Lai Chi Kok Transfer Scheme (LCKTS) and to make better use of the water collected by the Kowloon Group of Reservoirs which will otherwise overflow into the Butterfly Valley and discharge into the sea.

Tai Wai () is an area in the New Territories, Hong Kong, located between Sha Tin and the Lion Rock, within the Sha Tin District. With three rapid transit stations, one of which an interchange station serving two lines, five bus termini and several trunk roads and tunnels connecting it to other parts of the New Territories, such as Tsuen Wan, and Kowloon, Tai Wai is an important transport node in Hong Kong.

Tai Wai Village (Chinese: 大圍村), also known as Chik Chuen Wai (積存圍), is a walled village in the Tai Wai area of Sha Tin District, Hong Kong.

Tai Wai station is an interchange station on the East Rail line and the Tuen Ma line of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong. The station is located in Tai Wai, Sha Tin District.

Tin Sam Village or Tin Sam Tsuen (Chinese: 田心村), sometimes transliterated as Tin Sum, is a village in Tai Wai, Sha Tin District, Hong Kong. It is located west of Sun Chui Estate, north of Lung Hang Estate, and southeast of Festival City. Part of Tin Sam Village consists of Tin Sam Wai (田心圍), a historic walled village.
