Trevecca Nazarene University (TNU) is a private Nazarene liberal arts college in Nashville, Tennessee. It was founded in 1901.

WECV is a radio station operated by Bott Radio Network, with a Christian talk/teaching format. Until 2011, the station was owned by Trevecca Nazarene University, and played Contemporary Christian music. A key figure in the station's history is former General Manager David Deese. Deese, who still teaches at the university, led the radio station as a student, then as a faculty member. He was able to increase the station's transmission power on a couple of occasions and helped the university purchase 760 AM WENO and later put WNRZ, a repeater at 91.5 MHz in Dickson, on the air. WECV is simulcast on WNRZ (covering western Middle Tennessee) and translator stations on 93.9 in Gallatin and 99.5 in Clarksville. In the fall of 2010, Trevecca Nazarene University announced the sale of WNAZ, WNRZ and its translator stations to Bott Radio Network. On February 18, 2011 at noon, the station was transferred to Bott, at which time it began airing Bott Radio Network programming. The WNAZ call letters were officially changed to WECV several days later.

The Tennessee Central Railway Museum (TCRM, reporting mark TCRX) is a railroad museum located in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a small non-profit facility which is preserving the heritage of rail transport in Tennessee and the central South. The museum's name honors the former Tennessee Central Railway. The museum maintains a collection of historic rolling stock which it restores and uses for rail excursions in the area, both for fundraising and educational purposes. It runs an all-volunteer heritage railroad dedicated to preserving, restoring, interpreting, and operating historic railroad equipment. TCRM currently has nine diesel-electric locomotives and thirty other cars/engines. Inside the freight depot where the museum is located, there are railroad artifacts and memorabilia, a gift shop, and a large room where model train layouts in HO and N scale are displayed.

The Lebanon Road Stone Arch Bridge is a historic bridge over Brown's Creek in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.. It was designed by J. A. Jowett, and its construction was completed by the Foster and Creighton Company in 1888. From its construction to 1925, it was used by drivers on Lebanon Road. There is also a water main on the bridge to carry water from a water plant to the Eighth Avenue South Reservoir. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since May 13, 1987.

The Hubbard House is a historic house in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built in 1921 by architecture firm McKissack and McKissack for Dr. George W. Hubbard, the then-president of Meharry Medical College, an African-American medical school. It was built on its original campus, and its construction was funded by trustees and alumni.It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 14, 1973.

St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Rectory is a historic building at 1219 2nd Avenue, S. in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. It was built in 1890 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Tom Wilson Park is a former Negro league baseball park in Nashville, Tennessee, that opened in 1929 and closed in 1946. The ballpark has since been demolished.

Mount Olivet Cemetery is a 206-acre (83 ha) cemetery located in Nashville, Tennessee. It is located approximately two miles East of downtown Nashville, and adjacent to the Catholic Calvary Cemetery. It is open to the public during daylight hours.

The Silliman Evans Sr. Memorial Bridges, most commonly referred to as the Silliman Evans Bridge, are a set of steel plate girder bridges which carry Interstate 24 across the Cumberland River in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Until 2000, the bridges also carried Interstate 65. The bridges actually consists of two separate spans, which diverge into four separate spans at their southern end.

The Anna Russell Cole Auditorium is a historic building on the campus of Nashville School of the Arts in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S. It was built in 1894. It was named in honor of the wife of Confederate Colonel Edmund William Cole, who founded the Randall Cole Industrial School in 1885. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 17, 1980. The building is not used or maintained.

Nashville School of the Arts (NSA) is a public magnet high school including grades 9-12 for arts-interested students located in Nashville, Tennessee. Each student enrolls in one or more of the nine conservatories within the school; dance, theatre arts, literary arts, visual arts, and music (including choral arts, band, orchestra, guitar, and piano). Students must audition, interview, or write an essay to be accepted. There is no lottery admission to NSA. Students are expected to study in their respective arts and simultaneously complete the same academic curriculum as all other Metropolitan Nashville Public School students. While the school focuses on the arts, their academic scores rank among the top four in the MNPS school system, and Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program scores are above the Davidson County average.

Lindsley Avenue Church of Christ is a historic church at 3 Lindsley Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee. It was built in 1894 and added to the National Register in 1984. It is across the road from the Nashville Children's Theatre.The Church was founded by David Lipscomb. Dr. Ira North was formerly a minister and eventually moved to the Madison Church of Christ. Laws Rushing II was minister for nearly a decade. Gene Wright is the current minister of the Church. The congregation celebrates a homecoming service on the second Sunday of October every year.
