Icon Park

The Wheel at ICON Park is a 400 ft (122 m) tall giant ferris wheel at ICON Park in Orlando, Florida, United States. Under the name Orlando Eye, it opened on April 29, 2015. The wheel was reported to be in the early stages of planning in March 2011, at which point it was proposed for completion in mid-2014, but the opening date was subsequently delayed to late 2014 and then to early 2015.The attraction was renamed the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye in 2016; the ICON Orlando in 2018; and The Wheel at ICON Park Orlando in 2019. The most recent rename included a re-branding of the property to become ICON Park.

Skyscraper was a roller coaster concept originally planned for a future Skyplex entertainment complex located in Orlando, Florida. Development began in 2012 by American manufacturer US Thrill Rides and Swiss manufacturer Intamin, with both companies designing the attraction as the first Polercoaster model utilizing an observation tower for its main support structure. Skyscraper would have become the tallest roller coaster in the world at over 500 feet (150 m), and it would have featured both the steepest drop and highest inversion in the world. Developers anticipated completion by 2016, but a number of delays resulted in the date being pushed back several times. By 2019, the status of the project fell into uncertainty with the removal of the project's website and lack of updates from developers. In 2022, the companies funding the project filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The World's Largest Entertainment McDonald's, also known as Epic McD, and formerly known as Mickey D's, is a McDonald's restaurant which opened in 1976 in Orlando, Florida. The restaurant has a floor area of 19,000 square feet (1,800 m2), making it the largest McDonald's in the world by square footage. It offers menus with options that are exclusive to the restaurant and cannot be found elsewhere. While the Orlando branch is the largest in the world by square footage, a branch of McDonald's located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, is believed to be taller in height.

Icebar Orlando (stylized as ICEBAR Orlando) is an ice bar located in International Drive in Orlando, Florida. At over 1,200 square feet (110 m2), the company claims that it is the world's largest permanent ice bar. Its decor, furniture and glassware are constructed entirely of ice, and the bar also has various ice carvings. Icebar Orlando also runs a bar and nightclub named the Fire Lounge, which is located next to the ice bar and is maintained at a standard room temperature.

Pointe Orlando is an outdoor shopping center, located in Orlando, Florida. It is located at 9101 International Drive, adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center.

Anime Festival Orlando (AFO) is an annual three-day anime convention held during June at the Rosen Plaza in Orlando, Florida.

The Hyatt Regency Orlando is a hotel directly connected to the Orange County Convention Center located on International Drive in Orlando, Florida. The 32-story, 1641-room hotel was originally constructed in 1986 as The Peabody Orlando, a brand extension of the original Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. In late 2010, a $450 million renovation of the hotel added a 31-story wing that doubled the number of rooms from 891 to 1641 and added a resort pool complete with a water slide, waterfall, bridges, a kiddie area, a splash pad, an outdoor restaurant, and cabanas for rent. The expansion tower, standing at 428 ft (130 m), is the second tallest building in metropolitan Orlando only surpassed by the SunTrust Center in Downtown Orlando.On August 28, 2013, UST Hotel Joint Venture Ltd. sold The Peabody Orlando for $717 million, to Hyatt Hotels. The hotel was renamed Hyatt Regency Orlando on October 1, 2013.

The Orange County Convention Center is a convention center located in Orlando, Florida. Opened in 1983 as the Orange County Convention and Civic Center, it is the primary public convention center for the Central Florida region and the second-largest convention center in the United States, after McCormick Place in Chicago. The OCCC offers 7,000,000 sq ft (650,000 m2) of space, 2,100,000 sq ft (200,000 m2) of which is exhibit space. The complex is located on the south end of International Drive, a major tourist area in Orlando. The original building (the "West Concourse") housed an 11,300-seat arena from 1983 to 1992. It hosted concerts by popular artists including Madonna, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Styx, Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, and Hall and Oates. Its use declined after the Orlando Arena opened in 1989. The arena closed in 1992 and was renovated and converted into the main exhibition hall in 1996. On April 18, 2012, the American Institute of Architects's Florida Chapter placed the building on its list of "Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places". Solar panels on the roof of the South Concourse provide 1 MW of power. The center is host to hundreds of events annually including IAAPA Expo and MegaCon.

MegaCon, short for Mega Convention, is a large speculative fiction convention that caters to the comic book, sci-fi, anime, fantasy, RPG, and gaming communities, often occurring in spring at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The convention is the largest fan convention event in the Southern United States and second largest in North America with an attendance of 160,000 recorded in 2023.

Wet 'n Wild Orlando was the flagship water park of Wet 'n Wild owned by NBC Universal, located on International Drive in Orlando, Florida. It was founded in 1977 by SeaWorld creator George Millay. It closed on December 31, 2016.

The IFBB Professional League Ms. Olympia (initially named the Miss Olympia) is professional bodybuilding's most prestigious competition and the title of the winner of the competition in female bodybuilding. It was first held in 1980. It was held as part of the Joe Weider's Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend from 2000 to 2014 and since 2020.The male professional bodybuilding equivalent of the Ms. Olympia is the Mr. Olympia. The natural professional female bodybuilding equivalent to the Ms. Olympia is the INBA/PNBA Natural Olympia.

Mr. Olympia is the title awarded to the winner of the professional men's bodybuilding contest in the open division at Joe Weider's Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend—an international bodybuilding competition that is held annually and is sanctioned by the IFBB Professional League. Joe Weider created the contest to enable the amateur Mr. Universe winners to continue competing and to earn money. The first Mr. Olympia was held on September 18, 1965, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, New York City, with Larry Scott winning his first of two straight titles. The equivalent female title is Ms. Olympia. The record number of wins is eight each by Lee Haney (1984–1991) and Ronnie Coleman (1998–2005). Samson Dauda currently holds the title. In addition to the Mr. Olympia title in the Open division, other male divisions include the 212 division since 2012, the Men's Physique division since 2013, and the Classic Physique division since 2016. The film Pumping Iron (1977) featured the buildup to the 1975 Mr. Olympia in Pretoria, South Africa, and helped launch the acting careers of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno, and Franco Columbu. As well as the Ms. Olympia title, female titles include Fitness Olympia and Figure Olympia for fitness and figure competitors. All four contests occur during the same weekend. From 1994 to 2003, and again in 2012, a Masters Olympia was also crowned. Globally, a version with amateur competitors is also presented, the Mr. Olympia Amateur.
