Quantock Row is a historic row house in Savannah, Georgia, United States. It comprises five units from 17 to 31 East Jones Street, and was completed in 1854. It is a contributing property of the Savannah Historic District, itself on the National Register of Historic Places. The row partly fills the block between Bull Street to the west and Drayton Street to the east. The properties were built for Allen William Quantock by John Scudder. They were sold to Henry Meinhard in 1862 who, in turn, sold them to Gerard and Sarah Treanor.Other similar-style row houses exist in Savannah's Scudder's Row, Gordon Row, the Chatham Square Quantock Row, William Remshart Row House, McDonough Row and Marshall Row.

One of the 22 squares of Savannah, Georgia, United States, laid out in 1851 south of Lafayette Square, west of Whitefield Square, and east of Monterey Square, the location long named Calhoun Square has been unnamed since 2022. The oldest buildings on the square, the Adam Short Property and the Alexander Bennett House (both on East Taylor Street), date to 1853. Sometimes called Massie Square, the former Massie Common School House was built in 1855. The Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church, founded in 1868, is located on the western side of the square. The square had previously been used as a "negro burial ground"; in 1855, the bodies of enslaved residents Emily and Rinah were removed to Laurel Grove Cemetery. In 2004, a skull was found by utility workers outside the Massie Heritage Interpretation Center on the square's southeastern side. This legacy prompted a 2021 movement to rename the square after the Sankofa bird, a Ghanaian symbol expressing the "importance of knowing one's history." Susie King Taylor was considered another candidate for renaming in August 2021. City councilors voted unanimously on November 10, 2022 to remove Calhoun's name from the square; a new name is forthcoming.

It was later sold to William Wade in July 1860 for $5,000. Scudder also built the property next door at 11 East Jones Street.

Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church is a Methodist church in Savannah, Georgia, United States. Located in Taylor Square, at 429 Abercorn Street, the building's first floor was completed in 1875, with the second floor added in 1878. The church was completed in 1890. Its spire and stucco were added five years later. The church is dedicated to John Wesley and Charles Wesley, the founders of Methodism, who came to Savannah in the 1730s. The church's design is based on that of Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In 1968, a centennial marker noting the 1868 foundation of the church's congregation was placed on an exterior wall of the church. An earlier, octagonal church (known as the "Coffeepot") was located further west in the same trust lot from 1854. Fourteen years later, a mission group from Trinity Methodist Church purchased the property. They hired Dixon and Carson, architects from Baltimore, to design a new church which was to fill the eastern two-thirds of the lot.

The Andrew Low House is a home in Savannah, Georgia, United States. Located at 329 Abercorn Street, in Lafayette Square, it was built by John S. Norris in 1849 and is part of the Savannah Historic District and of the Juliette Gordon Low Historic District. It is the oldest building on Lafayette Square. Andrew Low was the father-in-law of Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts of the USA, and he inherited the house when his uncle died. He and his wife, Mary Cowper Stiles, maintained it as their American residence. Its adjacent (to the west) carriage house, at 330 Drayton Street, served as the headquarters for the Girl Scouts until 1913.

330 Drayton Street (also known as the Andrew Low Carriage House) is a building in Savannah, Georgia, United States. Located on Drayton Street, in Lafayette Square, it was built around 1849 and is part of the Savannah Historic District and of the Juliette Gordon Low Historic District. Andrew Low was the father-in-law of Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girls Scouts of the USA, and he inherited the adjacent house at 329 Abercorn Street when his uncle died. The house served as the headquarters for the Girl Scouts until 1913. Low left the carriage house to the Savannah Area Girl Scout Council when she died in 1927; the Girl Scouts used the building until 1986. The building was purchased by the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in Georgia in 1928, after Low died. The society uses it as its state headquarters.

The Thomas–Levy House is a historic building in Savannah, Georgia, United States. It comprises the western half of a Second Empire baroque townhouse known as the Thomas–Purse Duplex, located in the northeastern residential block of Monterey Square. It was built in 1869 for Daniel Thomas, and is part of the Savannah Historic District.In a survey for Historic Savannah Foundation, Mary Lane Morrison found the building to be of significant status.Daniel Remshart Thomas (1843–1915) was a Savannah native. After the Civil War, he went into business with Captain Daniel Gugel Purse Sr. Three years later, the two men built a duplex, of which one half is now known as the Thomas–Levy House, with Purse owning number 14 next door. Thomas lived at number 12 with his wife Jeanne Manget. His family later moved to another duplex, the Abraham Smith & Herman Traub building at 210 East Gaston Street, where Thomas died in 1916.The Levy family purchased the property in the 1880s, and it was renovated and added to in 1897 by department-store owner and Alsace, France, native Benjamin Hirsch Levy I. Marion Levy Mendal died in 2019 at the age of 101. She was married to Benjamin Hirsch Levy II, grandson of the earlier owner. The building's basement level is the home of V & J Duncan Antique Maps, Prints and Books, established in 1983 by John and Virginia (Ginger) Duncan, who still run it. They purchased the property in 1977 for $36,000. They installed an elevator in 2008.Its courtyard features a reproduction of Antonio Canova's Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss sculpture that was on exhibition at the 1915 Panama–Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco.John Berendt, author of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, visited the Duncans in the early 1980s, during the early research for his non-fiction novel. Ginger is mentioned in the book, while both John and Ginger appear in Clint Eastwood's 1997 film adaptation.

Lafayette Square is one of the 22 squares of Savannah, Georgia, United States. It is located in the fourth row of the city's five rows of squares, on Abercorn Street and East Macon Street, and was laid out in 1837. It is south of Colonial Park Cemetery, west of Troup Square, north of Calhoun Square and east of Madison Square. The square is named for Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, the French hero of the American Revolution who visited Savannah in 1825. The oldest building on the square is the Andrew Low Carriage House, at 329 Abercorn Street, which dates to 1849.The square contains a fountain commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Georgia colony, donated by the Colonial Dames of Georgia in 1984, as well as cobblestone sidewalks.Adjacent to the square is the Roman Catholic Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Given this proximity, Lafayette Square features prominently in Savannah's massive Saint Patrick's Day celebrations. Water in the fountain is dyed green for the occasion.In this area is the museum known as the Flannery O'Connor Childhood Home, which is open to the public.
