Bashundhara Kings Arena

Rangpur Riders Cricket Arena is a cricket stadium in the Bashundhara Sports Complex, which is the home venue of Rangpur Riders. Bashundhara Sports Complex is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh which is considered as one of the largest sports complex in Bangladesh. It has been designed by Architect Mohammad Foyez Ullah of Volumezero Limited. The stadium was opened to the public on 4 January 2023. It has a seating capacity of 18,000.

Sheikh Hasina International Cricket Stadium (Bengali: শেখ হাসিনা আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়াম) or The Boat is an under-construction cricket stadium located in Sector-1 of multi-billion dollar Purbachal New Town on the outskirts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The stadium is a joint venture of National Sports Council and Bangladesh Cricket Board. Planned to open in 2026, the stadium will serve as the headquarter of Bangladesh Cricket Board, home to Bangladesh national cricket team and Dhaka franchise of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The Balu River, located in Bangladesh, is a tributary of the Shitalakshya River. The 44-km long Balu passes through the wetlands of Beel Belai and Dhaka before its confluence with the Shitalakshya at Demra.

Neela Market (Bengali: নীলা মার্কেট) is a market situated in Bholanathpur, Sector 1, Purbachal New Town, Dhaka. It is accessible from Purbachal Expressway and people from Dhaka need to cross Balu Bridge to go there.

The Kuril-Purbachal Canals is a pair of canals in Dhaka, Bangladesh, extending for 6 kilometres along the Purbachal Expressway from Kuril Bishwa Road in the west to the Balu River in the east.

Cadet College Club Limited or CCCL is a pan-national club for the alumni of all cadet colleges in Bangladesh and is located in Purbachal New Town, Narayanganj. Shahadat Musharraf Khan (Mukul) is the president and T. M. Shahidul Islam is the secretary general of the club.The club was formed in 2003 with the alumni from 10 cadet colleges of Bangladesh (former East Pakistan) and Bengali alumni of military schools situated in the then West Pakistan. Before relocating to its current space, it was in Gulshan, Dhaka.

Bashundhara (Bengali: বসুন্ধরা আবাসিক এলাকা) is an upscale residential area in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The area is developed by Bashundhara Group. The project of Basundhara was started in the 1980s. In 2011 portions of the housing project was declared illegal as they were considerable flood flow zones of Dhaka. In 2014 a cabinet committee changed the Dhaka detailed plan to make the project legal. The project was built on area made by filling low-lying marshland and flood flow zones. The project has sold over 10,000 residential plots as of 2005.

United International University (UIU) is a private university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The government of Bangladesh approved the establishment of United International University in 2003. Financial support came from the United Group, a Bangladeshi business conglomerate.

Purbachal New Town Project or formerly Purbachal Residential Model Town is the biggest planned township in Bangladesh. The project area consists of about 6,227 acres (25 square kilometer) land located in between the Shitalakhya and the Balu River at Rupganj thana of Narayanganj District and at Kaliganj Thana of Gazipur District, in the northeastern side of Dhaka. The Township will be linked with twelve-lane expressway from the Airport Road/Pragati swarani crossing.The distance is only 6.8 km. There will be provision of about 26,000 residential plots of different sizes, 62,000 apartments with all necessary infrastructure and urban facilities. RAJUK intends to plan and develop the area as self-contained new township with all modern facilities. By 2025 Japanese construction giant Kajima Corporation, along with their Bangladeshi partner Sikder Group, has announced to complete the construction of 142 storied supertall skyscraper Iconic Tower in Purbachal sector 19.

Jolshiri Abashon is an under construction residential area developed by Jolshiri Abashon corporation, a sister corporation of the Army Officers Housing Scheme, in Rupganj Upazila, Narayanganj District. It is being built for Bangladesh Army officers with residential plot purchase available for cilvilians at sectors 1 and 2. It was referred to by the name Army Housing Scheme in the past. Spread over 2133.349 acres and 17 sectors, the area will have various facilities including educational institutes, hospitals, mosques, parks, lakes, lakeside walkway and cycle track, amusement park, stadium, golf course, bus stand, taxi stand, filling stations, fire service, bridges, apartments, and commercial spaces. There will be provision for underground utility facilities. 48% of total area will be open space and 28.73% will be roads. Estimated project cost is $2 billion.

Islamic Research Center Bangladesh, popularly known as Bashundhara Islamic Research Center, is a higher Islamic research institution situated at Bashundhara, Dhaka. Faqihul Millat Mufti Abdur Rahman was the principal founder of the institution.

International School Dhaka (ISD) is an International Baccalaureate(IB) World School in Dhaka, Bangladesh that was established in 1999. The school enrolls students in the age range of 2–18, from Playgroup through to Grade 12, providing an international education for local and expatriate children living in Bangladesh. There are over 70 international teachers or administrators from about 20 different nationalities. The school is recognized by the Bangladesh Ministry of Education and is accredited by the Council of International Schools, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization.
