Douglas Community School

Douglas GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Douglas, County Cork, Ireland. The club participates at different levels in hurling, Gaelic football, camogie and ladies football. The club is part of the Seandún division of Cork GAA.

Tramore Athletic F.C. is an Irish association football club based in Douglas, Cork. As of 2025, the club's senior men's team was playing in the Junior 2nd Division of the Munster Senior League structure. The club has previously played in the Cork Athletic Union League. They have also entered teams in the FAI Cup, the FAI Intermediate Cup, the FAI Youth Cup and the Munster Senior Cup

St Luke's Church is a Church of Ireland (Anglican) church in Douglas in Cork, Ireland. Built c. 1875 on the site of an earlier 18th century church, it is dedicated to Luke the Evangelist. Originally a chapel of ease for the parish of Carrigaline, population growth led to Douglas being made a parish in its own right. It is part of the Douglas Union of Parishes, in the Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross. The church is included in the Record of Protected Structures maintained by Cork City Council.

Nemo Rangers Hurling & Football Club is a Cork-based Gaelic Athletic Association club on the southside of Cork city, Ireland. The club was founded in 1922 and is involved in Gaelic football, hurling, Ladies football and Camogie.

Ballinlough (Irish: Baile an Locha, meaning 'town of the lake') is a mainly residential townland and suburb on the southside of Cork city, in Ireland. It is located between Ballintemple and the larger suburbs of Douglas and Blackrock.

Páirc Uí Rinn (pronounced [ˈpˠaːɾʲc iː ˈɾˠiːn̠ʲ]), also known as Páirc Chríostóir Uí Rinn, is a Gaelic Athletic Association stadium located between Ballinlough and Ballintemple in Cork. It was previously known as Flower Lodge and was used as an association football stadium. During the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, Flower Lodge served as the home ground of three League of Ireland clubs – Cork Hibernians, Albert Rovers and Cork City. It also hosted friendly matches featuring Manchester United, Liverpool and the Republic of Ireland national football team. In 1989 it was purchased by Cork GAA and subsequently renamed after Christy Ring, a former Cork and Glen Rovers hurler. During the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s, Páirc Uí Rinn has served as Cork GAA's second home after Páirc Uí Chaoimh. It regularly hosts National Hurling League, National Football League, National Camogie League and All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship fixtures.

Vernon Mount (sometimes Vernon Mount House or Mount Vernon) is a ruined Georgian manor house in Cork, Ireland. It was built between the 1780s and early 1790s to designs attributed to Abraham Hargrave. Originally built for the merchant Hayes family, the house was named for Mount Vernon, the home of US president George Washington. Passing through several owners, the house remained largely disused and subject to deterioration from the late 20th century. It was included in the Record of Monuments and Places by the National Monuments Service, and on the Record of Protected Structures for Cork County Council. It remained largely intact until 2016, when a significant fire largely gutted the house, and the building was subsequently listed on the derelict sites register. In 2021, the building was subject to a funding request for stabilisation works due to "risk of collapse".

Tramore Valley Park is a park on the southside of Cork in Ireland. With an area of approximately 160 acres (65 ha), the park site is located on a landfill site which closed in 2009. While parts of the park opened in mid-2015 (including for BMX and parkrun events), and had been targeted to open more completely during 2016, as of October 2018 the park had not been opened to the public on a broader scale or to larger events. The park was ultimately opened in May 2019, and is managed by the Glen Resource Centre on behalf of Cork City Council.

The Black Market is an indoor food hall and multipurpose venue situated on Monahan Road, Ballintemple, in Cork City, Ireland. It is located in the same industrial area as Cork's Marina Market. The Black Market opened in September 2021, one year after the opening of the Marina Market, and occupies a relatively small space at the back of an industrial unit. Its name and identity derive from its aesthetic theme: nearly everything is painted matte black, including shipping containers, the roof, and furnishings.

Ashton School is a co-educational Church of Ireland secondary school situated in Cork, Ireland. It was founded in 1972, following the merger of the Cork Grammar School and Rochelle School. As of 2017, Ashton School had over 500 pupils.

College Corinthians A.F.C. is an Irish association football club based in Douglas, County Cork. Their senior men's team play in the Munster Senior League Senior Premier Division. They also regularly compete in the FAI Cup, the FAI Intermediate Cup and the Munster Senior Cup. Corinthians also fields a reserve team and an over 35 team in the lower divisions of the Munster Senior League. In addition the club operates a large youth and schoolboy section and enters teams in the Cork Schoolboys League and schoolgirl teams in the Cork Women's and Schoolgirls Soccer League.
