Clifton Park Valve House, also known as the Lake Clifton Gate House or Lake Clifton Valve House, is a historic building located in a northeast area known as Clifton Park of Baltimore, Maryland. It is a massive octagonal stone gatehouse featuring large Romanesque archways that alternate with Gothic style windows that once contained stained glass. It was constructed in 1887 by the Baltimore City Water Department. It also features a turret, atop an intricate tile roof supported by a complicated system of iron trusses.Clifton Park Valve House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. In 2014, Preservation Maryland placed Clifton Park Valve House on its list of threatened historic properties.

Heritage High School was a public high school located in the northeast area known as Clifton Park of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It served Baltimore City high schoolers from 2004 to 2015. Founded in 2004, established as an expansion school and as a result of the breakup of Lake Clifton Eastern High School. It was categorized within District 6, "neighborhood high schools": a comprehensive high school. It officially specialized in the focus of three career and technology completer preparation programs: Business, Management & Finance; Human Resource Services; and Law. Lake Clifton Eastern High School had existed on the campus since the early 1970s until it was closed down in 2005, after which its building was occupied by the new smaller schools. These schools were still faced with problems common to underfunded urban schools, such as academic performance and discipline. The same problems led to Doris M. Johnson High School being recommend for closure in 2010 and Heritage was identified by the Maryland State Department of Education for school improvement in many years.

Lake Clifton Eastern High School (LCEHS) was a public high school closed in 2003, located in the Clifton Park area of northeast Baltimore, Maryland. Originally called Lake Clifton High School (LCHS), although it was commonly known as Lake High School or Lake Clifton, it is now called the Lake Clifton Campus (LCC). Along with Walbrook and Southwestern High Schools, LCHS was constructed in 1970-71, and opened in September 1971, named after the Lake Clifton Reservoir and the Clifton Park neighborhood where it was located. Designed during the post-World War II "Baby Boom" years of the 1960s to relieve overcrowding in the city's public high schools, particularly nearby Baltimore City College (City HS), the third oldest public high school in America (founded 1839), and Eastern High School (EHS). Each had about 4,000 students, twice their maximum capacity. In 1986, with the closure of EHS, the two schools merged and LCHS was renamed Lake Clifton Eastern High School. However after the 2002–03 school year, LCEHS was also closed due to declining school enrollment. Two smaller secondary schools, Heritage High School and the REACH! Partnership School subsequently used the campus. In August 2020, the city announced that it planned to sell the property for potential redevelopment, possibly to Morgan State University.

Clifton Park is a public urban park and national historic district located between the Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello and Waverly neighborhoods to the west and the Belair-Edison, Lauraville, Hamilton communities to the north in the northeast section of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is roughly bordered by Erdman Avenue (Md. Rt. 151) to the northeast, Sinclair Lane to the south, Harford Road (Md. Rt. 147) to the northwest and Belair Road (U.S. Route 1) to the southeast. The eighteen-hole Clifton Park Golf Course, which is the site of the annual Clifton Park Golf Tournament, occupies the north side of the park.

The REACH! Partnership School is a public charter high school located in the northeast area known as Clifton Park of Baltimore, Maryland. REACH! is operated by Civic Works, a Baltimore nonprofit affiliated with the AmeriCorps program.The school shared the campus of the former Lake Clifton Eastern High School campus with Heritage High School from 2010 until the closure of the latter after the 2014–2015 school year.For the 2019–2020 school year, as part of Baltimore City's 21st Century Schools initiative, REACH! was scheduled to relocate to the nearby Fairmount-Harford building, at 2555 Harford Road, previously occupied by the defunct Harbor City High School. The school's new location was originally built to serve as Clifton Park Junior High in 1924. The school offers vocational education through its CTE Pathways in either "Construction & Development" (carpentry or HVAC) or "Health & Biosciences" (Nursing assistant or Pharmacy technician). It also offers two Advanced Placement courses in English and History & social sciences. In addition, the school hosts an Army JROTC program.

Public School No. 4 , also known as Columbus School, is a historic elementary school located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story Romanesque Revival styled structure constructed in 1891 and expanded in 1905 and 1912. It features a three-story central square tower with pyramidal roof and a flanking pair of cylindrical corner towers with conical roofs. The structure was used as the South Clifton Park Community Center.Public School No.4 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.The building has been converted to apartments.

Friends Burial Ground is a historic Quaker cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is the earliest cemetery in Baltimore, established in 1713, and 2.8 acres (11,000 m2) in size. It contains a total of approximately 1,900 small, simple grave markers, arranged in compact rows interspersed with large trees. The graveyard is surrounded by a fieldstone wall 8 feet (2.4 m) high, built in the 1860s, now covered with moss, roses, and ivy.Friends Burial Ground was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The American Brewery, located in the Broadway East, Baltimore community, is an historic former brewery located at 1701 North Gay Street in northeast Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Formerly abandoned and left to decay for four decades, it has been recently repaired, renovated / restored and beautified. It is currently the headquarters of Humanim Inc., a regional social services agency.

The Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello community, often abbreviated to C-H-M, is a neighborhood in northeastern Baltimore, Maryland. A portion of the neighborhood has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Coldstream Homestead Montebello Historic District, recognized for the development of a more suburban style of rowhouses.The neighborhood captures its name from the nineteenth century grandeur of Baltimore's elaborate summer estates and small country villages along radiating turnpikes from the center of the city to the outlying major towns.

Baltimore East/South Clifton Park Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is primarily an urban residential area organized in a gridiron pattern. It comprises approximately 110 whole and partial blocks that formed the historic northeast corner of the City of Baltimore prior to 1888. While rowhouses dominate the urban area, the historic district also contains other property types which contribute to its character including brewing, meat packing, cigar manufacturing, printing, and a tobacco warehouse. The Baltimore Cemetery completes the historic district.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
